Kaitlyn shrugged as Rainbow left, not really understanding his/her reaction to her stupidity. Turning back to her patient, she tried to figure out what else she could do to help the child other than making her some soup of course. She just settled on that and left the room. The steady drip of the IV ringing through the air. |

Aloe clenched her hands, then relaxed. The IV sound was steady, and she focused her breathing to match it. Gentle and steady. With each breath, and each drop, she could feel some strength returning. It was like she was in the edge of consciousness, but couldn't quite get past it. |

Unlike most of the other apartments, Kaitlyn didn't have a plain studio apartment with no kitchen. She had an actual, two bedroom apartment along with a nice large kitchen and living room plus a restroom. One of he bedrooms were for more injured patients that needed to stay with her while he other was her own room. She grabbed some chicken broth from one of her cabinets and poured some into a small pot. Waiting for it to boil. |

Michael ran a hand through his dark blond hair. The German Shepard at his feet tugged at his leash. He barked loudly, then started to growl. He was outside a rundown looking building, a whole squad of police behind him. There were too many people. According to the station, he was the best officer. Not really, but no one ever died on his watch, so they considered that good. He guessed. Michael turned back to the other officers, "Stay out here, and hide. I'll go in." |

Zane
Zane woke up before anyone else, yawning loudly as he sat up in the bed. His black hair sticking out in all directions. Rubbing his eyes, he hopped out of the bed and changed in the restroom. Pulling on a white shirt and black leather jacket. His blue jeans had several tears in them but he wore them anyways. Walking out of the apartment with a sigh, knowing full well that he would have to walk down multiple flights of stairs in order to get some free food. He groaned and began to walk down. |

Michael walked in, looking distastefully at his police officer outfit. It was a great way to die, no questions asked. He whistled, and Strike hurried over to him. "Heel," he instructed in a gruff voice. The dogs tongue lolled as he stuck beside his master. |
