“fine, didn’t suspect a thing” Hannah told him, fiddling with one of the frayed rips on her jeans. She knew she wasn’t going to let anything like what had happened happen again, and he seemed to be very conveniently avoiding eye-contact. Hannah would have believed that he hadn’t felt anything in that moment if she hadn’t seen the look on his face afterwards. It had been pretty obvious. Grabbing her phone out of her pocket, Hannah quickly distracted herself with a text message. “Is that all?” she asked him, a slight hint of annoyance in her voice. Hannah needed to focus on her races and the upcoming tournaments ahead of her, not some boy. Their little game would be fine, seeing as though the days the game was scheduled to run wouldn't clash with any of her races. She had received her top tier placement invitation, which means she’d be entered in all 13 races, a chance at winning big time. People came from all over the continent to watch these races, it was rather a big deal in their little community. Hannah knew she’d have to really step up her game if she was going for first place. She didn’t doubt that with enough training and practice, she would definitely stand a good chance at winning the thing, the top three placements at the very least.

Sergio nodded in understanding. He finally looked at her, as he caught that hint of annoyance. He smirked, "Bored of me already?" He questioned. Frankly, he was hoping to find a bigger distraction with this. Possibly using it to avoid going back to classes. "Come on, like you were going to go to your classes." He teased, nudging her with his boot clad foot. He began to spin the pen around his fingers, again. He was kind of looking forward to this conversation to last much longer, but seeing as she kept it short and simple, that was not the case. Just like Sergio had thought. They got out of this perfectly. There was of course the chance they would ask for the proof, but it didn't matter. He already had the footage set up. perfectly. He half hoped they would ask for proof, so his money wouldn't have gone to waster, paying Mark off.

Hannah’s eyebrow raised ever so slightly as his smirk. Here she was thinking they were going to go back to acting like total strangers, as if they’d just met but guess not. She wasn’t going to complain about it of course, but it was a surprise, to say the least. Hannah rolled her eyes, smiling slightly, “I would never, I don’t wanna stay too long, can’t have you falling in love with me” she teased, a smug look on her face. Turning towards him more, she slid her leg onto the table, her ankle tucked underneath the underside of her knee. Hannah leaned over quickly, snatching the pen from his hand. Flicking the capped end against her thigh, she watched him carefully, unsure if it was too soon to be making jokes like that. Hannah didn’t know if she should bring up the incident from earlier, it didn’t seem like he was all that bothered about it so it might be a waste of time if she did. She didn’t even know if she necessarily wanted to talk about it in the first place, but there wasn’t much point in stressing over it, she knew nothing was going to happen.

"Pfft. Are you sure it's not the other way around?" He playfully nudged her again, with the tip of his boot. His famous smirk still playing on his lips. His eyes glanced to the clock on the wall, making sure if the class period was up, they wouldn't get busted for being here. He was suppose to be laying low and not acting up, but even he knew that wouldn't last. At least they got past the hardest part, with flying colors. Sergio gave her a dirty look when she snatched the pen out of his hand. He leaned further back into the reclining desk chair, tucked his forearm under his head, as he stared at the ceiling. Hannah tapped her pen impatiently against her book, staring at the clock on the wall. Her jaw was clenched and her patience thinning. There were only minutes until she could finally leave and get home, ready for tonight’s’ activities, whatever they were. Hannah knew the game between Sergio and herself was scheduled to be tonight, but she still hadn’t’ decided on what she was going to make him do, or what question she’d need as a backup if he chose that option. Hannah doubted he was going to, but she needed to have a backup just in case he did. Hannah saw somebody turn and give her a dirty look, likely because of her being annoying to practically everyone in the room. Obviously, nobody was brave enough to say anything, keeping their face and ego intact, but people kept glaring at her. Raising her eyebrow at the student, Hannah looked back at the clock. She waited until the last moment, before packing away her book and pencil case. Swinging her bag over her shoulder, she got up out of her seat just as the bell rang. The hallways filled with students, Hannah quickly walked to her spot in the carpark. Hannah got in, flicking the engine on and quickly pulling out of the parking lot. She knew she was being stupid the moment muscle memory took her and she raced out of the driveway and onto the streets, her sunglasses holding her hair out of her hair. With a small grin, she got home, with a sigh of relief. Hannah had a few hours to kill before she would have to get ready for the night. She sat down on her bed, pulling her laptop out of her bag. With Netflix opened up on the screen, Hannah finally relaxed, waiting.

Once again Hannah and Sergio seemingly went back to ignoring each other in school. It didn't surprise him though. If anything it was probably best like that. Although, his little rumor he started was short lived, he preferred they stayed out of the spotlight. They didn't need this game of theirs to get out and the whole school finding out. This was strictly between the two of them. What they were doing was in no way legal. That factor only gave more reason, for it to remain a secret. Sergio had almost forgotten that their game would be going into action at night. It felt like every other long school day. He was slightly eager to find out what Hannah had in store for him. It'd been too long since doing something like this. Other than his fights, but that felt different. That was like a job, for him at this point. This game was purely for the thrill of doing something illegal. Thats what he lived for. Once school was out he made his way to his uncles shop. Although, his fights brought in more than enough income for him, he still enjoyed working on clients vehicles. Plus, it was almost a must, that he help out the family. On his break, he checked his phone. Quickly shooting out responses to a few of his friends. His fingertips lingered on Hannah's contact. He wrote a quick text, asking where she wanted to meet up. As the time went by he was beginning to think about possible tasks, Hannah would send him on. Surely, the tools he kept in his car would prove more than helpful in whatever it was. He wasn't too worried that Hannah would choose something he wouldn't do. There was little he wouldn't go through with.

Hannah had been spending the last couple hours just browsing through her social media, one movie or another playing in the background. She had returned just to her room, a towel wrapped around her, hair wet after she got out the shower when she heard her phone vibrate on her bedside table. Frowning slightly, Hannah picked it up, her confusion evaporating as she recognized the contact as Sergio. It was odd, seeing as though they hadn’t talked since the day of the Police interviews with the Principal. Hesitating for a moment, she thought, Hannah decided on her task for him. Texting back to him, she sent him the address of the docks, where she does most of her racing meetups. It would be a good place to meet first, depending on where their tasks would need to be. Hannah didn’t know if the task he was going to give her would need to be in a certain place, but she knew his didn’t, as long as the place wasn’t some abandoned warehouse in the middle of absolutely nowhere. She walked to her wardrobe, grabbing a pair of jeans and a black hoodie before throwing them onto her bed for later. Hannah sat on the floor in front of the full-length mirror, doing her makeup and straightening her hair after it had been blow-dried. The combination of the straightener and the blow-dryer making it straight and soft but thick and airy. It wasn’t exactly the look she was going for but it would have to do, grabbing her black boots and her phone, Hannah left. Locking the door behind her, she got into her car, turning on the engine and making her way to the docks. She soon arrived and got out of her car, leaning against the hood waiting for him.

Sergio's eyebrows pulled together at the location. Docks? He couldn't tell if that would just be their meet up place, or if that was the area where he would have to do his task. It felt like a rather odd place to do a task. It didn't seem like there was anything around. Simply shrugging it off, he finished up his work at the shop. Once again he stayed late finishing up. After locking up, he drove straight home to clean up. Quickly showering he threw on a fresh pair of clothes. Specifically choosing all black clothing this time. Just in case. Lazily, he ran a hand through his hair. Not caring if it was decent or not. He didn't bother putting any products in his hair either. It wasn't like he was going out to a party, he was just seeing Hannah. Even if he was lazy with his looks, he still managed to pull it off. Pulling his hood up, he headed out. Maneuvering through his dark home, since everyone was already asleep. The drive was further out of the city. He made sure to give himself some extra time to get there. Turning onto the dirt roadway, Sergio glanced around. He couldn't remember the last time he came out to a secluded place like this. He spent a lot of his time running around in the dark streets of the city. This was surely a change of scenery. Pulling off towards the side, when the dock came into view, he shut the car off. From the looks of it, he got there first. Opening his glove box, he double checked the handgun was still in there, before locking up the glove box. One could never be too safe. He didn't usually carrying around a gun like this. It was a recent thing. A con that came with fighting in the Ring was, people he won against left very unhappy with the outcome.
Stepping out of his sleek crimson car, he locked it behind him. He glanced around. He almost felt relaxed at his new quiet surroundings. He walked out onto the dock, his hands shoved in his hoodie pocket. He stared out into the lake. The water was calm. The stars light bounced off the water's surface.

Hannah let herself enjoy the drive, it wasn’t too far away but it was far enough to enjoy the scenery racing past her, even if there was barely enough light to see in the first place. She was almost disappointed when she arrived, but soon remembered why she was here in the first place. The Game. Hannah had no idea what to expect with this game, especially with this new additional twist that Sergio had added in earlier on. She knew he’d have plenty of ridiculous questions lined up, why he’d want to know, was completely beyond her considering everything. Hannah parked her car, grabbing her phone. She had seen his car, so at least she knew he was already here, which was a plus. For once, she wouldn’t be waiting around for him, it’d be the other way around. Hannah was surprised he had even agreed to come here, she doubted her had even known about the place, let alone been here before. It had been kept on the downlow ever since it was declared the official meetup for all racing meetings and/or parties. Nobody wanted to be the one who let lip about it and now it’s public. Hannah got out of the car, shoving her phone and hands into her pockets. It wasn’t particularly cold, but the eerie silence was enough to make her shiver. She looked around, frowning a little. Soon enough, she spotted Sergio, near the edge of the Dock. For a moment, she considered pushing him into the water, but that’d be mean, hilarious, but mean. Jogging over to him, Hannah nudged his shoulder, standing next to him. The view was gorgeous, no doubt about it, but there was a weird etherealness to it tonight. Whether it was from the comforting silence of the Docks, or the fact that she was here with Segio, Hannah didn't even really want to know anymore, knowing it'd just be odd. “So tough guy, what do you got for me?” She asked him, staring out into the water.
