Grog
"Gregory"

He was never one to show up super early to class, preferring just to get there with enough time to get a decent parking spot near his friends. Typically to the youth in the school, his group parked by one another, a spot always left in the center for his own jeep. As per usual, most of them and the gaggle of girls who hung around them, were there waiting when he pulled in.

Throwing it into park, he launched out of the vehicle with his bag in tow. Immediately he was swarmed by his main group, which typically consisted of the jocks and popular kids, with the girls to match. There were back slaps, and chest bumps, and just overall teenage things, before they all turned and begun to walk. Immediately, as if on some sort of cue, the gaggle of girls who followed them around clung to him, slim arms wrapping around each of his own while the group walked.

"Oh my god Grog! I'm so excited for Baseball season this year! Do you think you will have any competition for your spot?" A high pitch voice trilled to his left and he glanced at the blonde who's hair was perfectly curled, as normal.

"Whitney," he chuckled as she said her name, and shook his head. "There's a chance, but I doubt coach will put anyone else as Catcher. I've been on Varsity since Sophmore year," he shook his head, knowing it was just an attempt from the girl to rile his ego.

"You mean half way through Freshman," the brunette to his right chimed, flicking her hair behind her shoulder.

"True, but I don't count that. I only got the spot because their catcher got injured and couldn't play," he pointed out, not taking pride in how he had earned the spot that year.

"I know, but they noticed you then," the girl added on, glancing at her nails before peering up at him with big dark eyes. "Which says enough about your talent," she pouted her lips a bit after, and he shook his head a soft laugh pulling from his lips.

"Come on Groggy," one of the guys from ahead of him grabbed his shoulder and effectively pulled him up to his side, and wrapped his arm around his neck. It was efficient in pulling him from the grasps of the two girls, though they simply trotted after them faithfully.

"Any idea what your classes are going to be this time?" Grog just shook his head as they turned into the area to get his schedule. "Well I hope they're good for you this semester," his friend chimed as they pushed through the doors and separated to get their individual schedules.

[Vasuki]

A set of dark of eyes studied the three pairs of schedules. He observed silently, watching Sori compare them as she leaned against Ryuu's chest. "Didn't meet your expectations, I assume?" He asked, figuring it was the only reason her expression and mood deflated. Leaning over, the male peered at the schedules, reading upside down just as she spoke. So, he shared shared advanced personal fitness with Ryuu? It made sense. Vasuki had the speed and stealth, and while he wasn't nearly as fit as Ryuu, he made up for it in other ways.

"At least we all share one class." Shrugging, he watched as the timetables were thrown up into the air, his long arms scrambling to grasp onto them. "Don't wrinkle it," he hissed, trying to grab onto his with a hint of panic in his eyes. Vasuki was always one that disliked being disorganized. He needed everything to be perfect, and that included keeping everything straightened and in order. It was a trait that not many assumed he had, but he did nonetheless. "You know how I feel about wrinkled paper." When Ryuu returned his timetable, he all but snatched it back, smoothing it out and placing it gently into his binder that he balanced on his knee.

Releasing a large sigh of relief, he smoothed out his top before turning back to the two. "I'm sure we'll have more classes for the second semester." Nodding, he remained positive before a singular brow raised at the mention of Sori forgetting her phone. "Get one of your other friends to return it to you," he joked, though he failed to deliver it properly. Instead, he forced it out in monotone with a blank face, making it seem as if he were moreso insulting her. He didn't clarify it either. They were already used to his lack of humor. Instead, he silently followed them, hands shoved in his pocket.

Taking lazy steps, he watched the two banter lightly, remaining silent until Sori claimed that she could go alone. He didn't mind either way, so while she walked off, he remained behind with Ryuu. Within seconds, Vasuki's lanky body was leaning against a set of lockers, his back pressed to it and hands remaining in his pocket. "So, english first, huh? That should be an interesting class." He enjoyed the class. Vasuki was always one for reading, especially the classics. He would often venture out to the library, slithering past the newer books and headed to the older ones.

The newer books were too easy. Something about the classics made his brain think, trying to figure out certain symbols and what they represented. The wording was more difficult to understand, and therefore, more fun, at least to him. Vasuki enjoyed exploring books and writing. It was nothing more but a hobby and a preference. Something to get his mind running. The same went for old movies, too. They were all so much more interesting to him than the modern films.

"Though I can't say I'm looking forward to advanced personal fitness." Complaining for a moment, he leaned his head back against the locker. "What's taking her so long," he mumbled to Ryuu, eyes fixated forward and posture slouching before shifting away from the lockers. Checking the time, Vasuki released a sigh. "I'm headed to class." There was nothing he disliked more than being late, especially on the first day. "I'll save you two a seat next to me so we're not spread around." Getting a head start, Vasuki pushed himself away from the lockers, headed towards the classroom.

As he strolled down the hall, he didn't bother counting the rooms, knowing already where his destination was. On he walked, turning into the room with ease, his eyes sweeping across it in attempt to find a suitable seat. It was beginning to fill up, and as he searched, he met a few eyes staring back at him. "Vasuki, over here!" Came a feminine voice from the front of the room. It was Ava, a female he was friendly with, and he would have approached her, had he not spotted three empty seats in the back corner.

He would be lying if he said that the chairs was the first thing that caught his eye, when in fact, it was something entirely different. He had see her around before, her pale hair often sticking out among a crowd, though he couldn't recall her name. Vasuki wasn't even sure if he ever heard it. However, he was drawn to that back left corner. Drawn to her.

So, he went, seating himself next to her and reserving the two other seats next to him. He wasn't discrete with his thoughts, either. No, he observed her in a curious manner, not even hiding his stare.

[Elias]

She pushed him back.

"Watch it, woman." Eyeing the female before him, Elias sneered at her. "I wouldn't have to be a dick if you weren't in my way," he snapped back, staring at the tall girl as she turned to the woman whom was introduced as Ms. Wynne. An old name for an old woman. Seemed about right.

Drumming his fingers against the desk, Elias was beginning to grow impatient. He blocked out the girl, her constant annoying voice constant. Blah, blah, blah, I left my phone, blah. Good god, did she ever talk. "You're holding up the line," he uttered under his breath, hoping it would hurry the girl up. No, not the girl. Sori. That's what her name was, he heard Ms. Wynne say it. Sori. Pah, what a mouthful, and what was it Sori said? Ryuu and Vasuki? What kind of names did the people in this school have. Such oddities this place was. He was already over it.

The intensity of his fingers against the table increased, the drumming growing slightly louder before it stopped all at once. "What?" He asked, turning to the old woman upon being paired with this.. this Sori. "I'm fine. I can find the class by myself. I've done this plenty of times." Not wishing to be placed alongside of another, Elias grimaced to himself as if he were in pain. Which, he was. He was struggling with internal pain..

..over being surrounded by idiots.

It was very contagious.

"Sori Khoroushi, eh?" He repeated, staring blankly at the tall female facing him. "With all due respect, or not, I'll pass." Offering a very obvious fake smile, he saluted at Ms.Wynne and began to walk off, only to have Sori ask him what her first class was and passing him. Blinking, he gritted his teeth before continuing to walk, staring at his schedule. He had english. Great, why not start the day with a class he hated most. Whatever, he'd get it over with and- How did this school work? It was different. The rooms had odd numbers. He just passed 30, but before that was 20. Standing there perplexed, Elias allowed a moment of confusion to cross his features. Why the sudden jump in numbers. He needed room 25, but where was it? What a stupid school.

"English," he finally said, responding to Sori. Perhaps he'd take her up on the offer. Just this once. He didn't want to seem like a fool wandering the halls. Moving alongside of her, if Elias noticed others moving for her, he didn't act like it. In fact, he most likely didn't, moreso focused on the room numbers than the girl. "Can we hurry it up? For somebody so tall, you have the pace of a child." Snapping at her, it was then when his eyes landed upon her shoes, taking in the appearance of them. They were.. actually nice. The shape and style, why, they were rather interesting.

Narrowing his eyes, he pointed at them slightly. "Where'd you get those?" Pausing, he figured she'd tell him if he perhaps paid her a compliment. It usually worked, so he didn't see why it wouldn't this time around.

"They're nice."

Mira

Quietly Mira situated into her seat once she had reached it. This entailed pulling her legs up so her shoes balanced on the edge of the chair. Before she shifted so she sat cross legged in the desk itself. This allowed her to balance her right hand on her knee while she took notes, doodled, etc. While the other could rest with the elbow on the desk, hand propping her chin at times.

She was sitting like this when she heard the desk beside her get sat in. This wasn't odd, usually the chairs were all taken during class, but what she wasn't expecting was the sudden irritating nagging sensation of someone looking at her. She ignored it at first, figuring it was one of her dreadful half siblings who had been unlucky enough to be in the same class as her. No doubt they would be trying to pin her to the wall with a deathy glare.

After a few moments longer, she bit the side of her cheek, contorting her lips as the nagging feelings didn't go away. Unfortunately with how she was sitting, she could hang her hair in front of her face without looking like the chick from The Grudge in order to break eye contact. Instead the white blonde locks were draped over the left side, revealing her whole face for someone to look at it. Which apparently someone was.

Furrowing her brows, she finally glanced up, only to find that it was the tall boy who had taken the seat, and apparently the two besides him, as his own. She didn't really know him, not personally, but she knew of the people he hung out with. The aggressive, violent ones, helmed by that one girl who seemed to always be trying to pick a fight with someone. Mira had taken care to stay far out of her way.

Glancing down at her notebook, she doodled soft little lines on the side of the page, willing him to stop blatantly staring at her. However, a glance up proved that he did. Frustrated etched into her facial features and she finally locked her own vivid grey eyes with his, doing her best to steel her gaze.

Unfortunately for Mira, she wasn't made for that kind of confrontation and she found herself shifting uncomfortably in her desk. Finally she broke the silence.

"Did you need something?"

Grog

The group gathered in the hall outside his first class, comparing classes to figure out who was going where and with who. A few of the group were in the same class, which made since given it was a core class, while the others were heading off to a few others. In total, about 4 people stayed with him. Three of the girls, and his friend Corey, which it was a relief to have the latter with him to act as a buffer between him and their "groupees" as Corey put it.

After the shrill goodbyes and promises to catch up later, the group of them filed into the class. Almost immediately Whitney, who unfortunately was one of the girls, clung to his arm as they went in. One of the others managed to wedge between him and Corey, who sent her an annoyed look in the process.

"Groggggggg" the exaggeration of his nickname almost made him roll his eyes as Whitneys voice trilled into the air. "You'll come sit with me right?" She asked, though it was more so partial command, as she began to tug him towards an open pair of seats near the back. Corey grimaced at him as he was tugged along, the second girl, Rebecca, getting into it as well.

"I suppose so, but Corey sits ahead of me," he pointed to the desk seated in front of him as Whitney's hand practically shoved him into the seat. He grunted in discomfort and shot Corey a look of pure SOS, whom only shrugged in response. There was no shaking Whit once she had something in her head.

Hoping someone else might save him he glanced around again, finding the only ones near by were a tall guy behind and to the side of him. Though he seemed to be in some sort of altercation with the tiny blonde beside him. He didn't know either of them, so no saving was coming from them, so he reluctantly turned back towards the front.

Whitney had, in typically Whitney fashion, parked herself atop his desk, sitting there looking down at him like a she-wolf does with a fawn. Her lipglossed lips peeled into a smile and she nudged him with her leg, making sure it was bare flesh pressing against him where her skirt didn't cover.

"What are your plans after school today, Grog?"

Almost immediately Grog draped his arms across her lap and simultaneously sat back, looking up at her. The movement appeased her desire to be touched, while also putting space between them.

"Well I was probably going to get some practice in, but after that I'm not sure. Probably depends on how school goes today," Grog answered, glancing around her at Corey who's shoulders were bobbing in silent laughter. The asshole.

"What do you think Corey?" He watched as his friend stiffened and slowly turned to glare back at him before shooting Whitney a wide grin.

"Did you ladies have something in mind?" Corey asked before glancing at Rebecca who was almost crawling out of her desk at him. Unfortunately for her, Corey had about the same interest in her as a cat does in humans. He had been stuck on the same girl since freshman year, though Rebecca never seemed to catch on, she pined for him anyways.

"Well maybe we can all hang out. Grog your Jacuzzi is working right? I have that blue bikini I've been wanting to wear more of," she practically purred the words as she leaned towards him. The V-neck of her sweater drooped to expose pale cleavage to him, which immediately turned Grog's attention to the ceiling as he fake stretched his arms.

"I would have to ask my parents to see. I'll let you know."

Sori

The girl sighed as she walked, tucking her phone into her skirt and taking longer strides, near-desperate to reach Ryuu and Vasuki. As long as she was with them, this idiot likely wouldn't plague her with his bullshit. What was even up with him? Sure, she tended to be aggressive with people she didn't know, but that was with people who gave her aggression first--it's not her fault people saw her as an enemy.

"Elias Dixon," she said in response to her own name being said, running a hand through long ginger hair. God, what a mess. Why had she had to arrive at the desk at the same time that he did? What kind of deity stuck her with him? She knew Ms Wynne's reasoning, but that didn't make her any more pleased to have him trailing her.

English.

"Oh for fucks sake," she muttered, rolling her eyes. "You have the same first class as me, and I will not be putting up with your shit all semester," she stated frowning when she couldn't see Ryuu or Vasuki over the sea of heads. Normally, even down the hall, the two were easy to spot--they were freaks of nature with how tall they were.

"For someone who knows so many words, you give insults like a ten year old," she snarled over her shoulder, folding her arms and angling her shoulders to split through a gathering of students that shifted out of her way like water. "You're being a dick, and you're new here, I don't know what you think you have to prove but being nice gets you everywhere," she snapped, before finally spotting Ryuu in the distance--without Vasuki.

"Oh, some store, forgot which one," she said in response to his question, waving a hand dismissively. She did know which store, she'd bought them with Vasuki, but that didn't mean she was going to tell him that. He'd been nothing but a dick, why should she be at all nice to him?

"Ryuu!" She called, but she knew the boy had already seen her and her tail. The way he pushed off the wall, squared his shoulders as if he were preparing for a fight, it was something he did often when she came running towards him with boys following. But she shook her head, and he relaxed... somewhat, at least.

"Sori," his baritone voice responded, stepping forward to meet her, and cutting a sharp, blue-eyed glare towards the boy behind her. "Who's this?"

"Ms Wynne gave me a new student as a tail," was all she said, grabbing Ryuu's arm and tugging him off towards their first class. "He has the same first class as us," she said, not bothering to grab Elias to make sure he was following. If he wanted to know where his class was, that was his job to follow them.

Ryuu didn't respond, merely making a noise to confirm he'd heard, and then walking beside her. As tall as she was, she struggled to keep up with his long steps, but they quickly made it to their classroom. She spied Vasuki sitting in the back corner, behind a girl--did she know her name? No... but she was someone that Sori had seen around a few times. Someone that stayed out of the way, someone that didn't start things.

"Okay, now fuck of Elias," she said ever so nicely, prancing over to sit next to Vasuki, Ryuu following close behind.

[Vasuki]

His eyes bore into her side profile, his expression a mere blank. It wasn't his intention to act intimidating, it was simply his way of observing. He studied her profile, including her hair draped across her face. It was such an odd colour, in a good way, of course. Was it rude to wonder if it was natural or dyed? Yes, most likely.

Instead, he focused on her notebook, watching the pen in her hand scribbling away. He found her movements so fascinating, that he leaned ever so slightly forward, trying to get a better look at her doodles. Sure, the were mere soft lines, but the way her hand moved, he could tell that she knew how to draw. There was a sense of control in it that many others didn't have.

Even when she met his gaze, his own remained lingering, and when she spoke, only then did Vasuki lean back in his chair. "What's your name?" He asked her, ignoring her question altogether and throwing in his own. His stare remained. It wasn't intense, per say, simply curious, his brows almost furrowing together and a single line on his forehead giving his current emotion away. "Figured I'd ask," he shrugged before pausing, "do you draw?" He raised his right hand, doing a small doodling motion in the air as he asked it. "You look like you do." Vasuki was a bit.. odd when conversing. He was blunt and bold with his wording and disliked most small talk. He much preferred jumping into random questions that he wished to be answered.

Suddenly, he reached his hand out, offering it to her. "Vasuki," he spoke, introducing himself in monotone, his hand extended so that she may shake it. When she took it, he shook it a singular time before his eyes finally averted away from her and onto both Sori, Ryuu, and.. another individual?

A confused expression twisted upon his face for a moment before vanishing, his mind how lingering on this new individual. He was shorter than them, perhaps new? Elias seemed to be his name based off of Sori's announcement. Vasuki had never seen his face before, but he wore a frown. It was an expression that didn't seem suited for a face such as his, but Vasuki kept to himself nonetheless.

It was only when she and Ryuu seated themselves next to him did he turn to him slightly. "New kid?" He asked, genuine curiosity etched in his eyes. "I'm guessing he didn't make a good first impression?" It was merely an assumption, given Sori bluntly told him to, "fuck off".

He didn't have much else to say on the matter, so instead, he rummaged through his satchel, pulling out papers and writing equipment to better prepare for the class. To Kill a Mockingbird was the book he had pulled out alongside of his papers, setting it upon his desk. It was a book he had reread a few times, and one of the first he had enjoyed. It was from this book that he realized that classics were more his style. However, he was newly getting into them and had yet to explore such a topic.

Without another word, he leaned back into his seat once more, prepared for the class to begin.

Mira

Grey eyes locked onto the face of the boy who was intent on interacting with her, at least in some way or another. While she waited for her answer she took the moment to study him, submitting his features to memory so she could remember him later if he ever came up again.

He was handsome with his narrow and straight features, not ruggedly handsome like some of the boys she had seen, but in his own way he seemed to capture the space around him. The way his brow furrowed into a single line in concentration intrigued her, and how it darkened his eyes as he watched. His hair was different than most too, dark with a bit of curly length to it. It was displeasing, but he definitely had a different look to anyone she had seen in the school. It was, well, it was pleasing. The boy was pleasing, something that wasn't not hard on the eyes.

Her eyes refocused on his own as he began to speak, and she blinked a single time before snapping herself out of her stare. "Oh, well, my name is Mira," she offered, glancing down at her notebook where the dancing lines had turned to vines along the side of the page. She directed her attention back to him when his hand was out stretched to her, an uncommon gesture for kids their age, but she reached out and gently took his larger hand in her slim on and allowed him to shake it before retreating it back to her desk.

"And yes, I guess you could say I do," she answered, one delicate shoulder lifting, pushing the loose jacket from it and causing it to fall a bit. Instinctively, almost protectively, she reached up and pulled it back around her, trying to keep it's in place like a barrier.

When he turned to converse briefly with his friends, she focused her attention forward again, the murmuring and laughter of the students around her becoming louder as she no longer was enraptured in her own conversation. It was odd actually being spoken to by another student, and she quietly found herself smiling at it, having enjoyed it to a degree. The odd boy, she decided, she liked him. He seemed nice enough.

Glancing over as he shifted again, she decided to be a bit bolder, and initiate conversation with him this time. If he could blatantly stare at her until she spoke to him, he could at least answer a question of hers too.

Quietly she looked at him as he settled into his desk, getting out his own things, including a book. Judging on it's mild wear, the way it had obviously been held, the pages shifted through with each turn, it had definitely been read several times. Odd, she hadn't read it more than once or twice after it had been a required reading her first year. Was it a book he actually enjoyed, or more so a conversation piece to lure suckers like her in. Still, she was curious.

Slightly turning, so it was clear she was speaking to him, she cradled her hands in her lap and tilted her head to the side. "How many times have you read it?" She motioned to the book a moment later and let her eyes lift back to his face. Subconsciously she fidgeted with the strings on the jacket, proof enoguh that social interaction was not her forte, but here she was trying.

A smill smile pulled at her lips, and her eyes lit up in mild mischeif, causing the smile to crack into a brief grin.

"Do you read? You look like you do."

Sori

The ginger-haired girl groaned as she sat down, turning to Vasuki with an exaggerated pout. She leaned her weight back against Ryuu's shoulder, knowing that her slim figure wouldn't be anything too much for him to hold up. She folded her arms across her chest, leaning her head back against Ryuu's shoulder and baring her neck.

"Oh, yeah, a new student, he's a piece of shit," she snarled, huffing a deep breath. "He greeted me by shoving me out of the way to talk very rudely to Ms Wynne--that nice lady at the front desk--when I went to get my phone. By the looks of it, he'd shoved every student that got in his way before me. So I shoved him back, as you do," she unfolded her arms and used her hands to express her emotions further, nose scrunched and brows furrowed in frustration.

"Hello," Ryuu's baritone voice cut in, and he waved slightly to the girl sitting beside Vasuki. "I'm Ryuu," he said, offering a gentle smile.

"Oh, yes, sorry-" Sori muttered, almost sheepishly. "Hi, I don't think I've met you before, I'm Sori," she waved as well, much more animatedly than Ryuu had.

"And then!" She added, as if it were some great surprise that she had more to say on the matter concerning Elias. "Ms Wynne asked me to show him to his first class. I know that she doesn't hate anyone, but sometimes I swear, she must dislike me to stick me with such a rude shit." Above her, Ryuu released a short huff of a laugh, and she smacked his shoulder, poking her tongue out at him.

"He's just..." She waved her hands, groaning to show her lack of words. "I'm done with new students already, and I know he isn't the only new student here."

"There, there," Ryuu mockingly tried to comfort her, patting the top of her head with a teasing smirk. "I'm sure he won't bother you all the time."

"I swear to God if you've jinxed it, I'm going to beat you when we get home."

"Of course you are," Ryuu chuckled, shaking his head.

The tall boy fell silent when the teacher walked in, a young woman walked into the classroom. She sat at the teachers desk, looking at the class for a few moments. She wasn't unpleasant to look at, with black hair and kind-looking eyes.

"Good morning class," she said finally, drawing the students eyes to her. "For those of you that don't know, my names Miss Poletti, and I'll be teaching your english class this semester." She clapped, smiling and leaning back in her chair. "The first thing is going to be a project," she laughed softly at the groans that came across the classroom. "No, no, nothing too much. You're going to be in groups of six, and you just have to learn about each other. Your task is to learn three things about each person, and find a shared interest among you." The paused a moment, smiling. "And I'm going to be assigning your groups."

Protests rose, because of course they did--who wanted to risk a teacher assigning the groups?

The class fell silent as she began reading names, and Sori frowned, listening for her name. It was within the third group that it was called: "Vasuki, Gregory, Sori, Elias, Mira, Ryuu."

"At least I'm with you two," she muttered, closing her eyes and leaning her back back further against Ryuu. "But it's going to be hell to be stuck with Elias."

He concluded that he didn't like that tall girl.

Every moment he seemed to find something to add into his list of dislikes. She walked too fast, her voice was annoying, and most of all, he disliked her attitude. She matched his own tone and harshness, something that Elias wasn't particularly fond of. Figures, he was paired along with the one individual who would talk back. He would have thought that the only thing he'd receive was an eye roll or the exposing of a middle finger, but no. This Sori spoke back with the same energy.

To make matters worse, he had the same class as her.

He didn't even respond to her comments, choosing to ignore them than anything else. Blah, blah, it was a waste of oxygen, truly. He had blocked her out, that is, until they approached what seemed to be the tallest man he had ever seen. What was he, like, seven feet tall? The man was a tree. Absolutely colossal, and judging by how Sori ran to him, they were friends or more. He didn't truly care what their relationship was, all he cared about was getting to his damn class.

Ah, Ryuu was his name, so Elias had overheard. That was one of the names Sori had mentioned earlier. Ryuu and.. Vataki? Vasuki? One of those, he wasn't truly sure. Of course, this Ryuu was intimidating, but Elias couldn't help but stifle a snort when he squared his shoulders as if preparing to fight him. Truly, was that all it took to set the guy off? He hadn't even breathed a word, simply stood beside the girl. Nothing even happened. The mere thought of that was so humorous to Elias, and he wasn't even sure why.

He remained quiet as they led him to class, trailing a short distance behind. His attitude had deflated slightly, but his annoyance radiated through his silence. When they reached the class, Elias pushed past Sori and Ryuu, not even bothering to thank them. However, when she uttered a solid "fuck off," he responded by flipping her off, nothing more. Ignoring them, he walked towards the front of the room, eager to get away from her group. Not because he was afraid, because he wasn't, but because they annoyed him.

He slumped in his seat, throwing his bag onto the ground next to him and sat waiting. He remained quiet with a scowl on his face, even when the teacher entered. Miss Poletti was her name, and the moment she clapped, Elias knew he didn't like her, either. As she continued to speak, his hatred grew, and when she announced a project where she was making groups, he released a grumble.

He hated this school already. Hated its students and teachers and everything about it. He was so busy complaining about it in his head, that he nearly missed his group. It was himself, a Gregory, a Mira? And, of course, Sori, Ryuu, and Vasuki. The witch and her little lapdog, wonderful. Great, just great! His hand smacked lightly against the table, earning him a few looks before he shrunk back in his seat. Raising his hand, Elias adjusted his posture.

"Um, can we switch groups by any chance?"
