Kaisen | M | Warrior | Dark Pines The large male shrugged, not particularly caring who went with him. "Whatever you wanna do," he grunted.
Arya | F | Hunter | Dark Pines Arya hesitated. She wanted to know what the alphas would say, but she also knew her duty was to hunt. And she could easily pester the information out of Kai later. She glanced at Akela, hoping he might stay. She knew his job wasn't hunting, but she enjoyed the male's company. Edited at August 5, 2023 08:26 AM by Shenzu

Kodiak | F | Head Hunter | Dark Pines | M: Arya, Angola, Akela, Kaisen (dir), Felis (ind) "Kaisen, why don't you head back to camp. Akela, I don't particularly care what you do, and Arya, Angola, you're both late for hunting. I expect a decent haul by lunchtime, do you understand?" She demanded. - She stalked off, unease rippling through her pelt. She didn't get afraid of many things, but that kind of death definitly got under her skin. She tried to put it out of her mind, focusing on Felis. If she was right, he was most likely in camp, causing all kinds of trouble and getting yelled at by most of the senior wolves. Whatever, it wasn't her problem now. She spotted a frog in the swamp, and lowered herself to the ground, until her fur brushed the swampy ground. Springing, she missed it by an inch, and mud splashed up on her paws. She bit back a frustrated growl, and annoyance shot through her. She waas getting sloppy.

Kírari | F | 4 years | Nurse Mother | Dark Pines | M: Alphas (ind), The pack (ind), Open! - The red female wolf growled, shifting her long snout into her chest. The sun was gleaming through her den in which she was sleeping. Keratin wasn't overjoyed about getting up early in the morning but she might as well since she was already half awake. The brisk wind blew through the entrance of her den, Kírari grunted before slowly getting up onto her paws. She could hear different voices from outside and figured the pack was already up and moving. Kírari stood up with a slight slouch, glancing at her large stomach. All the soon to be mother wanted right now was for her pups to be out already! They were giving her enough stomach pains as it is and it had been getting harder to move around. Padding slowly out of her den she glanced around, her eyes still getting used to the sunlight. The Alphas were speaking with different pack wolves, she wondered if Kodiak had sent out the hunting patrols yet because she was getting quite hungry. Maybe she would head down to see what the other pack members were doing...

Yukon | F | Head Warrior | Dark Pines | M: Kirari(dir), Akela, Kaisen(Ind) Yukon had made her rounds, making sure no one needed anything and keeping on top of things whilst her two current Warriors were out doing their duties. She knew Kaisen knew what he was doing, so, she wasn't too worried about him. Though, Akela was quite scrawny, she wasn't exactly sure why he was appointed a Warrior position. But, who was she too judge? She started out just as small and unimportant as him. As she walked, she noticed the only nursing mother of the pack creeping from the den. Yukon would perk her audits forward and put a genuine smile on her maw, which was very rare for the female to do. Picking up her pace, she fell into pace with the soon-to-be mother. "Good morning Kirari." She stated softly. "How ya feeling?" She questioned, flicking her tail behind her. Akela | M | Warrior | Dark Pines | M: Arya, Kodiak, Angola, Kaisen Akela would look between the three as Kodiak trotted off. His tail flicked a bit as he sighed a little. "I'll go back with Kai, I'll catch up with you guys after." He stated, looking over at the large brute before looking back at the females. "I'll see you guys later." He told them before motioning for Kaisen to follow him as they made their way back to camp.

Angola | F | Hunter | Dark Pines M: Akela, Arya, Kaisen, Kodiak (dir) Felis (indirect) Angola was happier to hear that her lead assigned her to keep hunting instead of Felis duty. She still had the longing to go hear what the alphas thought of this particular scene, but she would find that out sooner or later. For now, she figured it wise to listen to her higher up. She watched as Kodiak stalked off, visibly upset. The Lead Hunter had a right to be upset with them Angola knew, and she felt a little bad for it. But it wasn't anything she couldn't try and fix. "Goodbye Akela," she said, watching him as he turned to follow Kaisen. She turned to Arya, waiting. "We should probably get going." She said to her fellow huntress.

Kaisen | M | Warrior | Dark Pines The male scowled slightly. Being the senior warrior of the two, the smaller male should've been the one to follow... But he didn't feel like starting a fight over this. So he just followed after Akela. Arya | F | Hunter | Dark Pines The female sighed slightly, then shook herself. She needed to focus. Her pack needed her. "Shall we split up to hunt? We'll probably be able to catch more prey that way. Or do you want to hunt together?" Arya was open to either choice, not minding to hunt together or alone. Edited at August 5, 2023 03:46 PM by Shenzu

Angola | F | Hunter | Dark Pines M: Arya Angola paused, thinking over Arya's question. She made a fair point that they would potentially catch more prey if they hunted separately, and Angola definitely did not mind being on her own. But she also knew that there was a possibility of finding and taking down larger prey together, and less chance of getting hurt if the possibility arose. Kodiak had told them to catch as much as possible, expecting a good haul by the time they returned. "I don't mind too much either way," Angola said slowly. "But I do agree that we might have better luck separately." The huntress paused in thought, casting a glance back over at the deer carcass. She wanted to talk about her feelings to someone, but she wasn't entirely sure if Arya would feel the same way or even care.

Kírari | F | 4 years | Nurse Mother | Dark Pines | M: Yukon (dir), Open! - The female turned her head to look at the voice coming up behind her. She wanted her tail slightly when her eyes came to look at the Head Warrior. Nodding her head, Kírari spoke softy, " A good morning to you as well. I'm doing fairly well, though I am quite hungry. I didn't sleep as well last night, I expect my pups to be arriving soon. " She paused, "How has your morning been going? Good, I hope?". The expecting female swisher her tail across the ground before sitting back on her haunches, shaking her head. Kírari's ears were facing Yukon for her answer. It had in fact been getting a lot harder to sleep now that she was only a couple weeks away from having her puppies. Kírari was tired of being in pup and now she really just wanted her future children to be born. Preferably sooner than later...

¤ Storm ¤ Alpha Male | Golden Forest Pack | M: (Dir) Neryth. (Ind) None. ~ Storm chuckled when Neryth began to tease him for sleeping in. It wasn't anything new, as he practically slept in every single day. Neryth was normally always responsible; getting up on time and doing her duties in the morning, while he would sleep through the apocalypse. Then, he felt a wave of disbelief; he'd forgotten to send out patrols! He sighed with frustration at himself before shaking his head and looking back at his mate with a smile, reassuring himself with his thoughts. It'll be okay.. just this one time. "I sure do hope I don't disturb you with my incompetence, darling." He barked with a hint of amusement in his voice. Storm suddenly felt a light flick on his nose, and he instinctively jumped back a bit. Then, he looked at Neryth, noticing that she'd flicked his nose with her tail. Slight embarrassment washed over him, hoping she didn't take that the wrong way. Instead he decided to just try and back up his behavior with his next sentence, "You startled me! I didn't expect such a sudden flick on my nose." Storm then hurried up to her side, gently adjusting the flowers so they wouldn't fall off. When they were adjusted well enough, he ran his tongue on her cheek and made a happy sound, a smile on his face. A branch caught his attention, a long and thin branch, one great for playing with. He scampered over to it, swiftly pouncing on it and gripping it in her strong jaws, carrying it back over to Neryth. "Would you like this stick?"

Neryth | F | Alpha Female | Golden Forest Neryth chuckled, noticing his surprise. "I don't mind it at all. It's cute, actually," she hummed softly. Following his gaze to the stick, she rolled her eyes slightly, but felt her playfulness creeping up. "Alright, maybe a little bit."
