He woke up with a jolt as he scrambled closer to his mothers stomach, eager for milk. His tail wagging furiously as he drank his fill. As soon as he finished his curled up at his mothers paws. "M-momma?" He sounded with some issues. He felt extreme pride for his first words.

He woke up with a wince realizing he was still in the clearing. "Oh... Agh... Why can't I move?" He thought as he tried getting up, his muscles didn't budge. He groaned with pain as his head slumped down. "Great, now I can't move an inch..." His lips curled back in a snarl as his body seemed to scream at him. "I'll never heal..." He whined as he rested his head on his paws.

Nico climbed out of the alphas den again. He wandered about searching for Timber. He wandered over to the stream to see if he was there. Nope. Well atleast he could sit here and practice how to speak. He sat there for a couple hours and thinks he managed to speak a couple sentences. He then walked back towards the center of camp. He caught Timber's sent and followed it to the nursery. He walked over to Timber. " Wan-t t-to pl-ay?" He was so happy he managed to speak.

The beta happily licked Timber's head. "You can speak! I'm so proud of you, Timber." She wrapped her tail around him. Resting her head on her paws, she tried to go back to sleep.

Spirit felt something inside her when Timber spoke, and her mother praised him, she tried herself, but failed. No longer feeling hungry, Spirit crawled out of the nursery. She padded around, checking and looking in every den. She would stop and stare at the bigger wolves from time to time, wondering if she'd ever be that big.

He wagged his tail furiously as he nuzzled his mother. His body was filled with joy from his mothers praise. He turned seeing Nico asking him to play. His tail wagged even faster with joy. He crouched down and leaped at Nico knocking him down. "Oof-" He barked as he rolled to the side. His structure had grown a bit and finally was able to have a fair fight with Nico. He quickly dashed to the other side of the nursery so he wouldn't bother his mother and father sleeping. His paws skidded across the ground as he crashed into Nico with full speed. He scrambled off the ground and darted back to the other side eager for Nico's attack. His eyes studied Nico thinking of the possible moves he could attack. He bared his fangs ready for what Nico would do next.
