Miakoda Female-Head Huntress Miakoda walked into camp, eyes bright while she held feathers in her mouth. Saige would appreciate this little gift! She looked around. Hmm. Rameses isn't around. Shame. She trotted over to the den, the feathers in her mouth. She ducked under it, snagging a bramble in her fur. "Aw, Goshdarnit!" She mumbled muffedly. She turned back and saw Rameses, in the pup den with Saige. She smiled. "Hey, guys! What are you doing here, Rameses?" She asked. "Oh! Hello pups, oh, Saige they're so cute." She smiled at them, winking. "First one to get this bramble out of my fur gets first pick at feathers!" She said, crouching down to make the pups' task a bit easier. Akela | M | Dark Pines | Warrior | M: Angola, Arya(dir) The large brute stood there completely surprised as he watched the female chase the rabbit, though, he wasn't near as agile or fast as he followed, almost falling over his own four paws. After catching up to Arya, he chuckled. "Wow! You guys sure are fast!" He laughed. Akela then sat down and looked down at the dead rabbit, "We'll need to hunt more than that surely, right?" he asked. Yukon | F | Dark Pines | Head Warrior | M: Strifle, Kaisen, Kodiak(dir), Felis, Angola, Arya, Akela(ind) As the female stood there, she listened to her alphas words and then nodded at him. "Sounds good to me, Alpha." Yukon stated before dipping her crania. She then looked over at Kaisen and smirked at him before beginning her way toward the hunting den. As she got closer, she heard Kodiak calling for Arya and Angola before remembering one of her warriors were out with them. Rolling her eyes, bent her neck to look around camp for any other hunters other than Kodiak before sighing and trotting up to the other female. "No luck finding him?" She questioned, not giving her really any chance to answer before continuing. "Arya is already out hunting, I sent one of my Warriors with her. There wasn't any danger this morning that I spotted, but they should be fine. As for Angola, I think I seen her go after them, but I'm not too sure." She mentioned. Though, Yukon really couldn't care less, it wasn't her job to babysit the hunters. They were all old enough too take care of themselves. Saige | F | Golden Forest | Nursing Mother | M: Maikoda, Rameses, Dapple Waiting for an answer for Rameses, Saige watched the apprentice talk to her pups, challenging them to a jumping match. Smiling, she giggled a bit as Shyla just simply trotted back to her mother and laid down between her front paws. Saige smiled and softly licked her daughters head before looking back up to watch her son. Aashvi was very excited, and soon he was running full speed at the stump before his big paws got in the way and he went tumbling forward. Saige started forward, her tail up and audits forward in alert, but as she watched her pup get up and continue running before jumping onto the stump, she smiled and retreated back to where Shyla and Rameses was. It wasn't long afterward that Miakoda, the head huntress showed up. Saige smiled at Miakoda as she complimented her pups, "Thank you," She replied before hearing her question Rameses presence. Turning her attention to Shyla, she noticed the pups intrest in the colorful feathers in the huntress' maw. Saige nudged her as Miakoda spoke. "Go on Shy, It's alright." She spoke softly before watching as Shyla crept forward, placing a soft paw on the huntress' side and gripping the bramble with her small mouth and pulling. As it budged, Shyla went rolling backward into Rameses front leg, bramble in her mouth still.

Kaisen | M | Warrior | Dark Pines M: Strifle & Yukon Kai shrugged. "Fair enough," he said, dipping his head to the alpha. He stuck his tongue out at Yukon, then turned and briskly trotted out of the camp for a border patrol.
Arya | F | Hunter | Dark Pines M: Angola & Akela The female grinned, dropping the rabbit. "That's why I'm a Hunter and not a Warrior. I'm too light to do much damage, but I'm fast," she said. "Plus I enjoy hunting." She paused to scrape some fallen pine needles over the rabbit to cover it. "Yes, we'll need to catch some more. One rabbit can't feed the pack, sadly." Angola|F|Hunter|Dark Pines M: Akela & Arya Angola chased after Arya as the huntress leaped after the rabbit, tearing through the trees. She felt her muscles in her hips rippling as she leaped forward, trying to keep pace with the nimble Arya. As expected, the younger huntress got to the rabbit first, quickly disarming it of breath. "Well done," Angola said, catching up soon after. Akela soon joined them, asking about hunting for more. Angola nodded as Arya answered his question. "Prey is still low after winter," she added. "It'll be a nice challenge for us, and the pack will appreciate the extra food.' Rameses|M|Warrior|Golden Forest M: Saige, Aashvi, Shyla, Dapple, Miakoda Rameses nodded, wondering how mothers did it. He couldn't imagine being stuck in one place all day with little time for himself. Not to mention the patience it took. "Well I'd be glad to help you out a little whenever I have time," he said kindly. He could sense there was a lot she'd been through, but he didn't know her well enough to pry, so he stayed silent on the matter, offering his help instead. He watched Dapple, and called her over to him. "What would you like to work on today?" he asked her, feeling generous. He wanted to work a little on her battle skills, but he was curious to see what she wanted to do. Soon he heard another voice calling out, and he turned to see his sister entering the area, feathers in her mouth. "Hello Koda," he said. "I thought I'd help Saige get her pups back where they belong," he answered, chuckling. "Aashvi is a bit of an explorer." He watched happily as Koda initiated a playful task with the pups. His golden-green gaze fell on Shyla as her mother urged her to join in. As she tumbled into his leg, he sat down, bending his head to touch his nose to hers in a soft boop. "Great job, Shyla." he praised softly. "In just a few moons time you'll be even better."

Miakoda Female-Head Huntress Koda sat next to her brother."Oh, I found some feather while I was on a walk, decided to just bring them to the pups." She gestured towards the feather for Shyla and Aashvi to pick from. "I can understand Aashavi's sense of adventure. I had it when I was a pup." She sighed, remembering how she had lived alone in the pup den. "I'm just glad they can meet their mother." Looking around, Koda realized she had to assign a patrol. "I'd best go," She said, ducking under the brambles. "The elk won't hunt themselves!" She grinned, flicking her tail goodbye. Edited at August 3, 2023 12:48 PM by Slurpeesaredelicious

Arya | F | Hunter | Dark Pines M: Akela & Angola She gave a soft hum of appreciation at the female's praise. Having finished hiding the prey, she sniffed the air, checking for new prey scents. She could smell her brother, Kai, and glimpsed his dark fur between the pines, but didn't call out to him so as to not disturb any nearby animals. "You guys smell anything else?" She stopped abruptly, the fur lifting along her spine as a new scent touched her nose. It was tainted with the smell of decay, and smelled close by. Edited at August 3, 2023 12:43 PM by Shenzu

Akela | M | Dark Pines | Warrior | M: Angola, Arya Akela would listen too the both of them, looking back and forth. He was new to the whole hunting thing, having always been training to be a warrior. "What else would there be right now? Anything bigger?" he questioned them as he looked down at the rabbit, "I'm sure Saige would appreciate this, she hasn't been eating very much," He stated. Akela then flicked his audits, "So, what do we do with other prey if we need to keep hunting?" Saige | F | Nursing Mother | Golden Forest | M: Miakoda, Pups, Rameses, Dapple Shyla looked up at Rameses as her tail wiggled behind her happily. As she dropped the bramble, she happily trotted over to the feather, seeing Aashvi rush towards her before stopping and looking at the colorful feathers. Saige smiled at her pups before she looked at Rameses as he answered, "Only if you want, I'm not going to make you help." She mentioned to him.

Miakoda Female-Head Huntress Koda headed into the clearing, trying to rally up all the hunters. "All the hunters and their apprentices, gather here for patrol assigning!" She said, watching the hunters gather around her.

Arya | F | Hunter | Dark Pines M: Akela & Angola "Shh," she hissed shortly, flickering away between the trees as she followed her nose. The scent of decay grew stronger and stronger as she continued forward, growing strong enough to almost make her gag. She soon emerged into a clearing. At the far end, a buck lay with flies buzzing around it. The buzzing grew angry as Arya approached, looking horrified. The buck's head was missing, but the rest of it was intact, save a bullet hole in its chest. The scent of decay was thick in the air, but so was the scent of humans.

Dapple | F | Apprentice | Golden Forest Pack | Mentions: Rameses Dapple looked up from where she had been showing Aashvi how to pounce without stumbling over his paws. Giving him a gentle nudge towards his mother she trotted towards her mentor, her paws dancing against the earth as she tilted her head to the side, thinking. Rameses had already taught her the best defensive moves to use in a battle, but her paws were itching for more. After giving it another moments thought she nodded to herself. "Offensive attacks." She said simply, her tail brushing the ground as it swayed softly from side to side, her ears pricked up with excitement. "As many as you can teach me!"
