Didnt Eve recommend for artists to do payment AFTER turning in the art. Or at least she said that to the Horse Eden Game. Its a weird suggestion to not pay upfront, but I think she said that to avoid that issue

Aziel Castor | High Fae/Illyrian | Lost Count | Mentions; Solfrid (dir)
Aziel would roll his eyes but without pupils he was told it looked creepy, "Solfrid, you should really start working on the accomodations before my eyes burn and drip out of my skull."
He was being a tad dramatic but he felt like the situation called for it. He crossed his arms, willing her to feel his glare. He wasn't normally unfriendly, but the High Lady was being a bit.. irritating.
"I wonder how Aether fell for you, I thought he liked strong women." Aziel spoke without any hint of aggression, though it was an insult to her. Solfrid, to him, was way too.. bright. Too happy about everything, too willing to smile. Everything about that ticked him off. It may be the fact that he fought in the war long ago, but he didn't feel like you should smile until your face was stuck. He was older than Solfrid, not by too much but by enough. He was an adult when Aether was merely a prince, though he was grateful for the prince saving him.. mostly. He would return to calling her High Lady at around noon, if he didn't have to endure her rambling all day about how she feels equal to the lesser fae. His own beliefs were the same, but c'mon.. not even Aether talked about it all the time.
"Actions speak louder than words, Solfrid. How about you show the lesser fae that you're equal to them? Maybe you could start with going down to the festival in Golden Glade." The last bit was a suggestion, yes.. but also a part of him was trying to see if she'd leave her precious castle.

Irides Nic | Army(Illyrian-Pixiel | Night Court | 404 yrs | Mentions:

Iri slid put from under the tree he slept under. He rubbed his Amber eyes and stretched, his slightly off white teeth flashing as he yawned. He looked around and noticed a large Boulder under a nearby willow tree. Almost prancing over to it, they tie they're shoes to their belt and leap up, climbing the rough yet smooth surface of the rock. He quickly scaled the top, and grinned in success. He loved the scent and calmness of the forest. Such a shame it only lasted out here. Life was simple among the cover of green and amber leaves. Especially when you were lost. Iri frowned and rubbed his smooth chin, sighing at their mistake. He found a strong oak and headed over, checking for animals living inside before pulling himself up and to the top of the trees.
Once Iri reached the top, he realized it was infact a LONG distance from the castle. He sighed once more, and then retreated back to the lower branches. He hopped carefully, gliding short distances with his golden velvet wings. He popped up above the trees every so often, checking his distance. He slowly made progress, heading towars the castle, knowing it was bound to run into their fellow Night Court faes eventually. His camp couldn't have been too far away now, could it? The kept hopping, steadying into a gentle but swift pace back to camp.

Maeve | 560 | Illyrian Hybrid || Night Court || Mentions: (dir)Aether, Sabela, (ind)Lance, Mattheo
...
Brushing lose strands of dark hair out of her face Maeve frowns up at the sky, her delicate crimson drop earrings clinking softly in her ears. Sighing softly her firey gaze drops down to eye the lights in the distance, the ritual was clearly underway and she was likely due to attend. Much to her displeasue. She would attend regardless, but that did not mean she had to be on time. Smirking to herself she looked herself over, shimmering satin blood red dress with a low cut back and a slit all the way up to her hip. Black Illyrain leather covered her hips and was used to craft the ornate forearm guards she wore, while her usual black bone armor was pulled over the top and adorned with simple elegant chains.
.
She really didn't know how to dress modestly Maeve thought with a chuckle, giving one last look to the view from where she stood. Stretching her wings out she relished the feathing of the wind pulling at the soft feathers, the charms and chains jingling faintly as they swayed in the wind. It had been an interesting flight home after being posted at Lagoonmire, having to stop at the castle before making for the ritual site. It was worth it though, just to see their expressions when she dressed in her blood red and blacks.
.
Having decided she'd stalled long enough Maeve opened her wings and took to the sky, her large wings beat strongly and easily lifted her weight. A gentle smile tugged at her lips feeling the wind pull at her long hair, that smile turning into a smirk as she slowly started decending into the area. Landing with a flurish of her large feathered wings, Maeve brushed her hair back over her shoulder with a flick of the wrist. Gaze quickly scanning the area, before settling on the forms of Aether and Sabe who also seemed to have been a tad late. Chuckling to herself she sauntered over, wiggling her fingers in a teasing wave to Mattheo's form nearby. "Fashionably late as usual, seems we think alike" Maeve dipped her head as she bowed briefly to the high lord. Glancing at Sabe and simply choosing to nod her head in greeting, "Good to at least see the both of you attending" she chuckled softly, her teasing very intentional and clear. But always half-hearted.

Nevari | 250 | Water-Fae || Day Court || Mentions: Open
...
The gentle breeze caressing her cheek brought Neva from her slumber, streching with a sigh she glanced about her small home. Nestled at the edge of the palace gardens but within easy reach to any who needed help, it was humble and cozy. Slipping from the silk and satin sheets of her lotus bed, delicate steps over the mossen ground brought her to the edge of the small stream. Kneeling at the edge she watched the water briefly, before cupping her hands into the water for a drink. Sighing softly her gaze followed the movements of the lesser fae tending the gardens many flowerbeds, smiling as she enjoyed the traquility of her home.
.
Green gaze gentle as she rose to her feet, slow strides taking her down the garden paths. Slender fingers tracing the edge of flower petals as she passed, leaving small dew drops in their wake. Her silken dress drapped effortlessly over her form, swaying with every movement. While her blue hair shimmered in the sun, Neva seemed unfazed by the worries other day court fae concerned themselves with. Her only concern...the well-being of others. Pausing as she spotted what she'd been looking for, a small fawn lay at the edge of the garden. It had tripped over a stone and taken a tumble. "Easy there, I've got you" she coed softly to the young one.
.
Neva's voice was honey and sugar as she hummed a gently tune, kneeling beside the fawn she gently stroked it's back. A soft shimmering glow eminating from her hand and flowing over the creature, it's wound slowly closing and healing over. Smiling she gently urged the fawn to it's feet, guiding it until it could find it's own way. Neva watched the fawn return to it's mother, turning and beginning to walk back through the gardens. The faint jingle of her anklets now reaching her ears, causing her to chuckle and start dancing. Making her own music as she sang an old tune, small water droplets appearing around her in the air sparkling in the sun like jewels.

Gwyneira | 450 | Spymaster (Day Court) || Mentions: Aziel, Solfrid (ind)
...
The warm gentle breeze pulled at her cloak, the shade sheilding her dark cloak from being heated in the sun. A sigh left her as she silently scanned the glade, having not received word from the high lady yet Gwyn's gaze shifted to the large snowy owl perched on her shoulder. The owl tilted it's head briefly before taking off into the sky, it's bright feathers shimmered in the sun speaking of it's ties to the fae. Soon enough it reached the castle, using the wind currents as extra lift Lua easily landed on the balcony railing to the high lady's quarters. The large bird fluffed it's feathers now able to see who the other voice had been, it clicked it's beak with a soft chirp. Waiting till either had acknownedged her presance.
.
Gwyn shifted feeling uncomfortable now with Lua so far from her, it was never a feeling she liked. But as spymaster she'd often send Lua to be her eyes from a distance. While they were always connected no matter distance, her ability to connect their vision at great distance was limited. Rolling her shoulders Gwyn stretched her wings, the soft feathers rustling faintly. While she could've just flew back to the castle herself, it was simply faster to sen Lua instead of abandoning her post. Afterall, she wanted to avoid their night court visitor. He seemed to be rather grumpy during the day, so she'd rather deal with him during night when possible.
(sorry this post is on the shorter side)

Aether | 564 | High Lord (Night Court) | Mentions; Sabela(dir), Maeve (dir)
Aether finished up his short conversation with Mattheo, spotting Maeve only moments before. Aether didn't know all the fae in his court, obviously, but he knew the Illyrians and tried to keep track of any hybrids as well. Hybrids can take part in the training Illyrians go through or they can go through training for their other species mix. Sometimes, they'll have stubborn hybrids try to do both but very rarely do they succeed.
"Sabela, would you be able to check and see if everyone's here yet? We're a bit late so it should be time anyway. Take note of any suspicious members too, that's probably something I should pay attention to." Aether smiled at her. It wasn't a genuine one, and she could probably tell that he was just doing it to seem a bit more like he knew what he was doing. In reality.. Aether didn't pay attention to the potential enemies lurking around when he was in his own court. He likely should, but he had gotten way too comfortable and trusting with his second, third and spymaster there to protect him. Plus, he ruled the court, didn't he? He had enough magic to do a whole wonderment of things and sometimes forgot he was still not indestructable.
Aether left her with a nod, assuming she'd be doing what he asked. At least the part about looking for shady individuals. He waved to Maeve, a greeting that wasn't much more than regular fae got but it still gave away a bit of excitment.
"Good Evening, Maeve." Aether flashed her a charming smile. "I see you've arrived.. late. No troubles, I hope?"

Day Court Royal Guard NPC | Age unknown | Matt and Val (ind).

The pallid 6 foot 4 Day Court Royal Guard was on their usual patrol across the border when they spotted a dapple grey Holstein gelding and what appeared to be two humans on its back. The fae’s pointed ears had narrowly missed the sound of its heavy hoof beats as it galloped forth toward what appeared to be the direction of Prismaria. Frowning at the presence and sight of humans in the fae lands the guard remained where he stood calculating his next move.

Well seasoned and well versed in numerous encounters with both outsiders of the Day Court, it had been what felt like centuries since humans had ever dared to venture into the fae realm. He pondered on how this interaction would go and had decided to fall back and gather a fellow reinforcement. He very well could take on the two humans by himself however, judging upon what appeared to be a pistol in the hands of the male clinging on the female, he would make this interaction surely more difficult than necessary. A sword against a pistol would be no match, surely, therefore an extra reinforcement wouldn’t hurt to have.

The fae’s obsidian thoroughbred would soon speed off toward the nearest border post to gather a fellow ally and stop the pair before they traveled any further into Day Court territory. He could also let the pair wander off into the Night Court and see what would come of such an interaction, but surely the High Lady would surely take much pride in having her royal guardsmen stop an intruder before allowing them to wander deeper into the realm of the fae.

↠↠↠

Sabela | 554 | Illyrian | Spymaster (Night Court) | Mentions: Maeve & Aether (dir)

Noticing shortly after their arrival the presence of none other than Maeve, Sabela offered a curt upward nod of her head in greeting, keeping a relatively neutral gaze upon the obsidian feathered female. Maeve sparked controversy wherever she may be and that was generally particularly due to her behaviorisms with others. She was known to be rather hostile toward others and if anything inhospitable by those who viewed her in a negative light. Maeve being older than Sabela and of a hybrid mixture, Sabela remained generally neutral toward the lass’s smart, lippy remarks and haughty behaviors. In fact, Sabela enjoyed the advanced word play she could engage in with Maeve, responding with similarly clever taunts. From an outsider's perspective, their wordplay might actually be viewed as if they were at each other's throats, or close to being, however they both knew where to draw the line and truly meant no harm toward one another. Simply put, their personalities combined is too much for one single place.

Giving a curt smirk toward the damsel Sabela would follow their statement by adding, “It is good to see you attend as well, Maeve. To my knowledge, these sorts of gatherings are generally not the sort of affairs you tend to make an appearance for.” She’d finish gingerly, aware of the line she may subconsciously be testing.

Her gaze would shift taking in the crimson dress the effeminate had chosen to wear. It was tasteful to her standards, a bit more on the flaunty side but something Sabe could see herself in, attending a gala of sorts. Maeve was a creature of nature and habit, for she would never be seen without her bone plated armor. When the pair had initially met Sabela did not understand the benefit of having armor made out of bone, considering if it were to shatter it would likely puncture and inflict more damage toward its owner than toward it's opponents, however, to each their own. Having been a mixture of alleged Peregrim it would not be of surprise if Maeve had taken to favor their culture over Illyrian culture considering they did not torture their female counterparts like the Illyrians.

Having realized her gaze may have glazed over in thought the lass would turn her attention toward Aether as he spoke to her. During their initial entrance the femme had kept a head count of those that were present and was able to supply a response toward Aether's command.

"It appears as though everyone is accounted for. There may be a few stragglers however, there are a few common fae who must travel a hardy distance and may arrive later to voice their concerns." She added firmly. In response to his finishing comment she would follow, "Bah, nonsense, you already have enough on your plate Aether. Let your spymaster, second, and third in command have some fun. We surely could use a little ruffle of the wings, every now and then." She'd finally tease, giving him a brisk wink before bowing her skull and giving a small curtsy prior to dismissing herself.

Taking a few elegant regal strides just below the steps where the High Lords throne sat, the feminine fatale would flap her wings venemently before tucking themselves and settling. Her mask would hold nothing but poised brutality should any fae attempt to do something distasteful or questionable. She would remain posted here for the duration of the evening scanning and observing. She was fortunate enough to have a servant grace her presence with an occasional drink or two.

Matt | 28 | Humans | Mentions: Valerie and Caite(ind), NPC guards.

Matt sat behind Val looking around trying to find any sign of his cousin. His amber eyes trying to spot even the dark mare and he let out a low whistle seeing if Caite would respond. A few curses left his lips under his breath as he looked around. "I don't like this Valerie. I haven't seen any footprints yet that look as though they would fit Aura." He removed a hand from her waist to once more run through his hair.

The longer we stay in this world, the more I don't like it. He thought eyes once more roaming the scenery around them. His gaze stopped seeing the movement of a shadowy figure that he couldn't quite make out due to the distance and as he squinted, another low whistle stopped at his lips. "Did you see that?" Blinking a few times as he wasn't sure that he hadn't imagined the figure and looked to the other side trying to ignore the feeling of unease creeping up his neck.

If that wasn't Caite, who did he just see and that also means that they are not alone out here. They had to find Caite and soon. A slight shiver moved down his spine, causing the hair to stand up on his arms and the back of his neck.

"She couldn't have been that much farther ahead of us. Unless she ducked down a separate way following that deer." A deep sigh left his frame as he spoke. "She knows better than to go chasing after a deer, even if the pelt looks like that. It isn't worth getting separated or worse, getting injured and lost." His head shook chastising the braziness of the cousin that he viewed very much as a little sister.

If anything happens to her...

Caite | 24 | Humans | Mentions: Val & Matt (Ind).

The woman's eyes kept looking around for anything that looked vaguely familiar as she soothed her mount. The mare let out a deep breath as she shook her head, a sign that the tension was leaving her body. "Good girl Aura." Caite whispered taking the chance to finally look down and as her gaze was about to move back to her surroundings, it stopped as what appeared to be strange markings appeared on her right hand and she dropped her bow causing the mare to jump to the side almost dislodging her rider as a shrill whinny pierced the air.

At the movement of Aura, Caite's attention was pulled away from her hand and she quickly picked up the slack in her reins, pulling the mare back in under control, though the pair was once again dancing further into the strange territory. "Shhhh Aura." Caite cooed, forgetting about her weapon lying in the soft grass. It didn't take as long for her to garner the mare's attention and stop the frantic movement.

Caite let out the breath she had been holding and looked about, her eyes finally landing on a little stream and she urged Aura into a light canter towards it. The mare readily responded and it wasn't long before the two were stopped at the stream. Both looking inquisitively at the moving water. "Of course this isn't harmful..." Caite muttered dismounting from Aura stepping forward to kneel and run a hand through the cool ripples.

A gasp left her lips as she pulled her right hand back, once again taking note of the marks that were beginning to adorn her hand. She looped the reins to her mare, who had stepped as far as she dared away when her rider gasped and flicked her ears watching unsure if the water was not as safe as what Caite had said, through a loop on her pants and rolled up both sleeves. Panic began to rise in her throat seeing the marks seemingly to move up her arm and she quickly dunked her hands into the stream vigorously trying to wash whatever it was that was causing the marks to appear.

Aura watched for a few moments before stepping forward and lowered her own muzzle to the cool water and took a few drinks, a watchful eye was locked on the human that was bent over cursing and trying to scrub vigorously.

Solfrid II High Lady of Day Court II Mentions: Aziel, Lua(Gwyneria)

"Okay, okay" she concluded. Miffed at his selective hearing; that is her trick! Aziel Castor does regard himself much too highly, especially compared to Solfrid, bright day fae, leader of the Day Court, one who no one may dare compare with.

"I'll ensure you obtain a veil to protect your eyes, even thou rarely anyone here wears it" her voice was soft, smile made of fake kindness, as she lifted her gaze just in time to meet his glare.

'Rude' simple, yet displeased thought occured to High Lady as she stood her ground quitely, but persistently in their silent confrontation. Open body language conveying how she was willing to listen despite the attitude.

Just as she wished to dismiss him cause he was bothering her over small matter of being weak to sun's shine, Aziel spoke up, beating her to it. Information about Aether's preferences in a lover didn't actually matter to Solfrid in a same way that High Lord's looks, which she did address as handsome, did not actually matter; what matters is power. Sweet thing to obtain, wield and play around with. Oh, with power of emotions being one of more boring examples that nevertheless was oftentimes surprisingly effective.

'Let's play then' small fae decided, willing blood to rush to fair cheeks, to color them with innocence as translucent pearls started to bedazzle long eyelashes falling low while her gaze did not lower, shoulders did shudder, 'faltered' under a command and not from weight such news would have thurst on one who was truly looking for happiness with their future spouse.

For the first time since Solfrid and Aziel met, fae's voice was subdued, certain words were donned with silver of strength as uncertanty seeped through the rest: "High Lord Aether surely likes me then! I am a great leader of the Day Court, protector of its fae and traditions, one willing to rebuild relations with other nations instead of cowering inside this castle like my ancestors, so... So, what if my stature is smaller, more feeble than-than most, uh" so far so good, acting out, trying to appear unaffected, yet visibly shaken at the same time "You are his close friend so you probably know better than me, but I believe he will love me for my strength in areas other than physical. Lord Aether isn't interested in aspects so vain. Not to mention I am considered to be one of most beautiful fae in this Court"

"Also yes, let's attend the festival" corners of her lips were tugged in something resembling a smile if it weren't for the fact that greyish eyes, dry after departure of a few tears which did their part in the play, did not crease nor shine, they were somewhat dull, closed off. With finality which were to indicate that she is done with this conversation, Lady Solfrid elegantly moved away from the doorway. She got pretty caught up in whatever theatrics because of course, when you are someone from higher up in social hierarchy, you ought to be able to navigate swimmingly through mundane power plays if you wish to be a victor. Wheter or not your opponent is serious.

Carefull steps approached the railing where shiny white owl rested, beauty of animal never failed to cheer her up. 'Creature of night, yet looks so brilliant in sunlight'

Aziel Castor | High Fae/Illyrian | Lost Count | Mentions: Solfrid
Aziel inwardly grimaced when Solfrid agreed to attend the festival. This is not what I wanted. Aziel grumbled his way out of the High Lady's room, shutting the door behind him. He shut the door gently, he didn't see the point of damaging her eardrums with the slam. He trudged his way down the hall, grumbling the entire time about how the sun would burn his skin. "I'd look like a burnt slice of toast at the end of it!" Aziel hissed in annoyance. He rounded the corner, making his way down the stairwell to the first floor. He knew the lesser fae would be wandering around but they kept themselves invisible so there wasn't any point saying good morning to them. Still, he felt a little self-concious. "I wonder how Aether even found himself with her." Aziel shook his head in confusion. His thoughts were interrupted when he found himself walking by the kitchen, or rather... into the kitchen. There he found sausages and bacon being cooked, orange juice being poured and banana bread being baked. Aziel wandered around the kitchen looking at everything being made. He ignored the lesser fae that were there, they were invisible so it was fine to do that right? He snatched up a plate and loaded it full of breakfast foods. Maybe someone would complain about this later, but he didn't care. He made his way back to his room carrying the plate full of food and hoping Solfrid didn't catch him. They were supposed to eat in the dining room but Aziel took that as a suggestion.
☾☽
Aether Vairon | High Lord (Night Court) | 564 | Mentions: Sabela, Entire Night Court (NPCs)
Aether meandered through the crowd of fae from his very own court. He quietly made his way over to his "throne" but instead of sitting, he stayed standing.
"I know," Aether began, his voice smooth as silk. "I know that we've all had reservations about the day court fae and concerns about what will happen to our court if we do merge." Aether's wings ruffled behind him, only Sabela would know that meant he was uncomfortable. Aether hated speeches but he had been told he did a decent job, his wings were just a sign reflecting his dislike of standing in front of everybody and talking. The reason only Sabela would know is because he's the only one he told about this when she once asked "You look like you've seen a ghost, are you really that scared of speaking in front of them?". At the time, he was terrified of it. Thankfully, through the years his fear slowly calmed to only uncomfortability. "I can tell you all that nothing bad will ever happen to our members, swear on my life." Aether ended his 'speech' with genuine words, he would do anything to protect his court. "Our Cruthaitheoirí will take your offers now and decide to help you or leave you without answers." He motioned to the moon-shaped table soon to be filled with food, crystals and valuable personal objects. Aether finally gave in and sat on the throne, struggling a bit to make himself comfortable with his wings without anybody else noticing.
