Luka Moore - Male - 22 - Farmer - Mentions: Adrienne Moore

A young man stood in the middle of his wheat field, a small yawn escaping him. Luka looked around with his big blue eyes, pulling his cloak around himself. Though it was a nice day, poor Luka felt cold as he stood in the field, already distracted from actually doing his job. He shook his head at nothing in particular, and started to harvest the rest of his crops. His sister relied on him to provide ingredients for her many pastries that she made at her bake shop. It was one of the only things he actually liked to do.

He yawned again, still harvesting the crops and stuffing them into a small basket. He had woken up early that morning, not being able to sleep that well. Another night, another nightmare. Though, he would rather not think about that. Since he had woken up that morning, he had been doing work. While also getting distracted by the smallest little things.

He wiped sweat off his forehead and looked down at his basket, now filled with an assortment of goods. Earlier that morning, he had picked fruits from his garden, milked his cows, and got eggs from the chickens (or any other egg laying bird). Now that he harvested his wheat, he now had enough stuff to give his sister before she left for work. Yawning again, he walked back to his house, running a hand through his hair.

Michael Sorenson - Male - 25 - Baker - mentions: His mother and Horace

The older woman raised an eyebrow seeing the friend of her son looking as though he was thinking of trying to get them into trouble. She waggled a finger at him behind Michael's back as the other man carried the flour over to where she could easily access it. Michael lifted his dark green gaze to meet his friend's and walked over clasping his hand. "Good morning Horace. I hope you haven't gotten into trouble and need me to save you once again."

Even though Michael was almost a foot shorter than his friend, the pair could almost be found together when they weren't working. Michael released Horace's hand and pulled out a loaf of bread setting the warm food on the counter. "I almost burnt that one. Ma' would have skinned me for burning another loaf. I already burned my one for the day earlier."

The woman's frame shook with a chuckle as she worked rolling out freshly made dough to make into buns and sweets for the children. She was even shorter than her son but her personality was larger than her frame. Michael stepped to her side planting a kiss to her cheek before pulling the apron from his frame stepping out the door holding it open for his friend.

"How was the fishing this morning? You know you are more than welcome to help out here at the bakery if you need anything." Michael pulled out one of the loaves from earlier offering a piece to Horace. It wouldn't be long before his mother noticed the missing item but she had grown used to her son taking a couple and handing them out to those that may not be able to afford a new loaf or to share with his friend.

He couldn't take his sweet buns though. Those were only for his family and customers that sought out the not too sticky but just sticky enough buns that Michael only made a couple of times a month depending on how much time he had to work on them.

Salem Grace - Female - 19 - Scout - mentions: Shay(Indirectly)

Salem continued along her path back to the village, and kept her icy eyes on the path ahead of her, her hair struggling to floof out from under her hood. She looked at the bone item she had been carving earlier, a small ring for her. It was nothing special, just a plain peice of bone, no engravings or anything but still she was quite fond of the little ring.
Salem's eyes tore through the forest as something caught her eye. She averted her gaze quickly like an owl looking for prey. A man? She thought to herself as she analyzed him quickly. Correction, an attractive man. Even though he was attractive, he was a stranger to her nonethless. She didn't recognize his face at all either.
He wasn't far from a house, cozy little place. No. She was getting off track, she wanted to know who he was, he had her curious. Her gaze raked through him, analyzing his face and racking her memory for it. He had sharp features and a small ponytail, a scar and some stubble too. They were becoming more apparent as she got closer.
Salem wasn't hiding per say, but she wasn't in the open either. She wasn't fond of human interaction and was quite fine at a distance.
She studied his expression now, he looked stern, little warmth in his eyes and he looked irritated, maybe troubled? He was also pretty muscular.
Eventaully, she had come to terms with not 'hiding' and started walking normally on the path. She had pulled her hood off now and her ring was upon her finger. She could see the light from the sun between the branches that had casted shadows onto her cheeks. Her fox buckle shone brightly on her boot and found herself in a confident stride, she was ready to question this dude and maybe get his name.

Horace Umbra / M / 23 / Fisherman / Polar Bear / Mentions: Michael and his mom, Ren, the horse farm, his father

Horace had a smirk form on his face. He could let loose around his friend, not having to be so careful about how he places his words. He inhaled the warm soothing scent of fresh bread starting to be pulled from the oven. “I’d kill to be in this place, taking samples of bread instead of caressing fish scales for the past hour,” Horace lifted his hand to his hair, ruffling it, a thing he often does for no reason. “It looks perfectly well cooked to me,” Horace analyzed the bread. “Although, I really don’t know much about baking except for the result which is served as a meal,” Horace looked as Michael had taken off his apron.

Following him outside of the door, he weighed part of himself on his right, ready to reply to his friend’s conversation. “Fishing was the same, although much rougher than before the hunters arrived,” Horace sighed. “We can’t shift when they’re around, but I manage to herd the fish well when underwater. We ended up having to drag that fishnet all the way up to the butchers house-Oh that’s right! I have something to tell you,” Horace locked eyes with his friend, “While we were walking up towards the village, we came across a pure white panther, she was absolutely gorgeous!”

Horace lifted a leg upwards, overstepping his walk. “I had to give her a couple of fish just because, well, I can’t help it.” Horace smiled after grabbing onto the piece of bread his friend offered up. Finally, something that’s not meaty. He took a small sample bite of it, savoring the taste in his mouth before swallowing. “Also, the salmon have been getting scarce over in the nearest lake, so we’re planning on going towards the trout one, you know… The one miles out. I tried to convince my father that getting a couple of dales horses and a wagon would be better than a broken back, but money is tight for us right now,” Horace sighed, finishing off the piece of bread he had in his hand.

“Hey, I was going to go down to Ren’s and ask him to accompany me down to the horse farm down on the outskirts, ya wanna come? I know you just need to be doing something with your hands 24/7 or else you’ll explode, but maybe you could take a small teeny break and help me haggle down the price of a horse,” Horace smiled warmly, hoping that his friend would agree to it, although, he didn’t know how Michael would react to Ren. Ren was a bit wild, but overall an outgoing enthusiast that was great with haggling prices. Now that he thought of it, Horace didn’t even know if Michael knew Ren.

Marietta Pleasant - Female - 18 - Scout - Badger - Mentions: Nalaea

Humming a soft tune, Marietta pulled her dagger out of her boot and started making marks in the log. It was nothing extreme. Just a carving of a young woman made in an unnecessary amount of detail. This woman seemed to share the girl's face shape and smile. However, there wasn't much to go on with only a wood carving.

The girl froze suddenly, sensing something moving behind her. She slowly put her dagger back into her boot, and got off the log. "Hey. Is someone there? If there is, I won't hurt ya. I'm just a simple scout from Fellborn," she said with a geniunely warm smile. She didn't want to say she was a shifter in case whoever or whatever was behind her decided she would be an interesting snack. She also showed no signs of nervousness in her voice or her movements. She was just genuinely curious as to who was behind her.

(It's a little shorter than I would have liked, but oh well)

Shay Cormac Connolly - Male - 29 - Baker - Mentions: Salem Grace (I don't... Have a descriptive word right now. I mean, he knows she's there now?)

If there was one thing Shay hated, it was the feeling of being watched. He didn't know why he felt that way right now, given that he seemed to be alone on right now. Sighing quietly to himself, he dropped his chin a bit closer to his chest to stare at the ground as he walked, navigating purely based on memory, and listening for footsteps to indicate someone close enough that he could potentially run into them.

As he kept walking, Shay couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. It was only growing stronger, and he hated it. Out of sheer habit, he glanced over his shoulder, scanning the area fleetingly. Seeing nobody for the moment, he returned his attention to staring at the ground.

Finally, he gave up, given that the feeling hadn't gonen away, and halted. Whoever it was that was seemingly following him would be easier to find if he wasn't moving. As he turned back this time, however, he finally spotted who he assumed had been tailing him through the town. Shay narrowed his eyes slightly, and stared down the young woman as she walked towards him, confidence in her stride.

He didn't recognise her at all, a fact that could definitely be attributed to his self-imposed isolation. What exactly could she possibly want from him?

Sabine D'Ahma/ female/ 19/ scout/ horse/ mentions: Horace, Michael, Nyx, Samuel (indirectly)
Sabine walked out of her house, daggers hidden and bow in hand. It was time to go to work. Walking out of town, she passed Horace and Michael, giving them a nod of acknowledgement as she walked past them on the way out of town.
She glanced around the city, and wondered if she was being watched by any Hunters. Hunters. Sabine was so irritated by then she could spit. And anytime she did mention the Hunters, she did nearly spit their names, in a sort of angry hiss. But only doing so with her fellow shifters, never expressing any suspicious, intense dislike of the hunters in front of humans- even thise she was friends with. Sabine had learned not to trust anyone who did not share the same unfortunate curse that she did.
Sabine wondered if she should get a horse or mule whenever she went out of the town on a long scouting trip, just for show. Of course given her shifting ability, she didn't need one once she got out of town to a quiet secluded place where she could turn into her horse form... But it might be suspicious to go out on a scouting trip, without some sort of mount like most scouts did.
She debated this as she strode out of the town rather swiftly, heading towards the oak forest. Finally being able to relax without the feeling of being watched by people who would kill her if they knew what she truly was, she breathed deeply in the fresh morning air and sighed contentedly.
She hiked a good waze through the forest before finally stopping. Sabine looked around, making sure there was no one in the area, and shifted into her animal form- a large, beautiful white horse, with blue eyes, every bit as bright as the daytime sky. Tossing her head, Sabine began a trot through the forest, now as a horse. Now I can cover some distance! She thought to herself.
Following about two and a half miles of trotting and cantering on and off, Sabine's ears pricked forwards as she heard a wolf's howl, not too far off. She stopped and bobbed her head a little bit, trying to decide if it was a real wolf, which would be a danger, or a fellow shifter in their wolf form.
After a few moments, she saw an owl fly over head. And not just any owl, this looked like Nyx. Well that explaines it. The wolf has to be Samuel. Wherever Nyx is, he can't be too far behind. She thought with a smile. Whinniying loudly, she called to Nyx. "Hey, Nyx! How's it going? Find anything yet?" She asked, hoping she hadn't. If Nyx hadn't found anything, then perhaps she would let Sabine scout with her, which would be a pleasure. Nyx was always fun to hunt or scout with, and was in a lot of ways similar to Sabine. Sabine hadn't gotten to hang out with Nyx much, but what little she had, she enjoyed. She hoped they could maybe be good friends.

Michael Sorenson - Male - 25 - Baker - mentions: His mother and Horace

Michael raised an eyebrow at his friend saying the panther was beautiful. "First off I wouldn't let her hear you say that around her. That would make her ego inflate and second, do you know who that might have been?" The mention of the salmon being low weighed a little heavier on the man's heart. He motioned for Horace to lead the way before trying to match his stride.

"Of course I am happy to help you try and get a horse. I can even help look after it. You might get a good deal when he hears you fed his sister." Michael folded his hands behind his head. Michael hated the hunters in the town as much if not more than some of the shifters. It caused many of his friends to go into hiding and he had seen one too many be killed just for who they were.

He raised his eyebrow once again hearing Horace mention Ren. "If you think that will help. Maybe we will even run into that white panther again. Only one hangs around the stable since the father was killed by the hunters." He made sure to keep his voice low enough that only the two of them could hear what he was saying. He hadn't heard of any other panthers that lived in the town that matched the description that Horace had said.

"Did she have black around her eyes? If she didn't then maybe I wouldn't mention about feeding her. Might not be who I think it is." Of course Michael wasn't going to outright say who he thought the panther was that had crossed Horace's path earlier. He wanted to see if his friend could guess without hopefully outing the hiding female.

Nalaea Leogwyn - Female - 22 - Hidden Shifter/Horse Breeder - White Panther - mentions: Marietta

The white feline discended from her perch before stepping into the light. She sat down with an unamuzed look in her dark opal blue eyes watching the girl put the dagger back into her boot. It was an odd choice to make when faced with the fact of knowing something was watching her. She shook her head before disappearing once more into the shadows shifting into her human form before stepping back out into the light.

"Why would you put away your weapon? You never know who could be out here hiding in the shadows." Her dark hair cascaded over her shoulders as she folded her arms across her chest. She was wearing a simple pair of breeches and riding boots along with a loose fitting dark blue blouse with a corset over the top of it. "I am Nalaea or Nala and who do I have the honor of speaking with? Not many come into the forest alone anymore since the arrival of the other hunters not long ago."

She didn't move from her position near the trees and her movements carried the grace from her feline form. A hand ran through her hair brushing out any smaller twigs that had worked their way in from the branches even though her eyes never left the other person. "What are you doing out here? I thought that most of the scouts stayed close to town to watch for any shifters or strangers trying to get into town or have my observations been wrong?"

Salem Grace - Female - 19 - Scout - mentions: Shay

Salem gazed at him as she met his gaze and she neared him. She gave a reluctant gulp and sighed. When she stopped, she suddenly felt a sense of dread. She lifted her chin so that her face seemed almost equal to his even though she was a bit shorter than him.
She narrowed her eyes at him and gave him a cross look," What are you doing in the forest?" She asked with a curious tone, she tried to be as nice as possible but her RBF was not helping her case. She would try making a friendlier face but she wasn't going to be hurt if he thought she was being rude. She doen't even recognize him. So why bother?
She felt the breeze rustle past her again, teasing and pulling at her hair, carrying it along as it goes. Her cloak flicking and wavering a bit as the breeze disturbed it. Her face relaxed a bit and a serious gaze replaced the former one. She put a hand on her hair to hold it still as breeze rushed it at every angle. It was annoying and she considering cutting it all off.
However, no matter the distraction. She was curious about this man. It wasn't much of her business, but she was still curious nonetheless.

Marietta Pleasant - Female - 18 - Scout - Badger - Mentions: Nalaea

The young woman crossed her arms, taking in the appearance of the woman in front of her. She raised an eyebrow slightly, her smile disappearing from her face. "First of all, I would only hurt someone if I knew who they were. It might be terrible logic, but I am really not in the mood for critizism right now." She spoke with confidence, not looking away from Nala's face. Her own hair was being slightly blown in the wind, yet still being held by the string. "Second, my name is Marietta. And I'm not afraid of the shifter hunters. If I die alone in these woods, then I die for Fellborn."

She never looked away from her, never uncrossing her arms. She really didn't trust this stranger, but since they were both shifters, she felt confident enough to share some things. "I decided to wander further into the forest today in search of any hunters hiding all the way out here. Also any other predators that might hurt the town. Most scouts would probably stay close to town, but I have my own techniques." Her brown eyes seemed to be flecked with gold at that moment as she continued to stare at the other woman.

Adrienne Moore - Female - 22 - Baker - Mentions: Luka

Adrienne looked up from her chair as her brother walked into the house, a basket full of various ingredients for her job. She smiled and walked towards him, taking the basket out of his hands. "Thank you, Luka." She said with a soft smile. At that moment, Luka yawned again and quickly hid his face. She chuckled softly. "Feel free to go to sleep. I'll be at the bakery." And with that, she left the house and walked down the street with her basket, humming a soft tune.

She reached the door to her bakery, or as she likes to call it her "second home". She spent most of her hours of the week in this place and truly loves it. Flaws and all. It was quite small, but she made it work. There were small cracks in the ceiling and walls, but they didn't hurt anything. It truly was her safe place.

She stepped behind the counter and began mixing ingredients together to make the perfect dough, all while humming a soft song. A song her parents had once sang to her when she was just a small child. She could never remember the words, but the tune was forever in her mind. She continued humming as she finished making the dough, leaving it to sit for a while as she made more.
