Pax Moore| 18 | Student | M: Jessica, Levi Pax never had any exciting days. Usually it was the same old, school, homework, home. The only real fun he got to expeirence was when he went to work at the pet store. He one day hoped to be a vet, but the pet store was enough for rightn now. He wandered the halls, head low to keep out of troubles watch, but that quiet, boring day was taking a turn for a nightmare. The speaker rang loudly, the principles words almost jumbled in his panic to get them out. Pax looked up, almost confused. Was this some prank? Or was their seriously a threat in the school. 'I'd rather not take that chance, if it is a prank I better get out of the halls' ,Quickly Pax made his way through the school, passing by kids, some crying, some laughing. Still he was determined to get out of sight, that was until a screech caused him to stop in his tracks. There was a sound of footsteps hitting the hard floor in a panic, Pax had barely moved out of the way when a boy followed by 3 rotting students exploded out of a bathroom. Quickly they tackled him, bringing him to the floor and like a lion with its prey, killed him Pax was stunned, no horrified at the sight, and was sure he was about to puke. Quickly he turned on his heals and ran, fueled completely by panick and need of survival he wrentched open a janitors closet to find a large wrench, before bursting through the nearest classroom and locking it. Too terrified to even breathe Pax crawled under a desk, holding the large metal rench in shaky hands. This isn't real, this is a NIGHTMARE. He thougt, fighting the urge to cry. His heart lepted at the sound of a click, and the door handle being turned. Pax shut his eyes and tensed, prepared to leap out from the table and wack the rotting creature. He opened his eyes to find it wasn't a terrible demon, but a regular student, around his age. Pax flinched at the sound of a banging door, and before he could blink the boy opened it and pulled another person in, this time a female student, one he didn't recongize either. Quickly the door was barged again, and Pax was left with the awkwardness of his situation. He crawled out from under the desk he was at, raising his hands in a non threatening matter. "Umm...hello" was all he could mutter, staring between the two students. "I'm not one of those creatures! If you were worried" He clarified quickly

Robert || 16 || Student || M: No One, Open Carnage was all he saw as he ran. So many were taken and suffered horribly by the creatures which pursued him. His adrenaline put his senses on overload, and all he could see was red. All he could hear was screams and the disembodied groans. All he could feel was a fear and an overwhelming numbing crawling over his skin. 'I can't stop. Not now... I am going to die'. Robert grew so lost in his own fears that his body ultimately moved on autopilot, he seemed to not even notice the creatures lost interest seeming to have found easier prey. He only seemed to have returned to his senses at the sound of a door slamming behind him, and his vision growing dark. His breathing rapid and shuddering. "...This is fucked...", was all that escaped his mouth. Everything about this situation, it was indeed fucked. The death. The fear. Those creatures. His... Hiding Spot. He flicked on a light switch, and revealed it to be a janitors closest, "... My noble fortress". He was trapped. With his back leaning against the door he slowly slid down till he sat on the floor, he could feel his eyes water slightly but no tears came. Robert sat quietly for a what seemed like a long time, his hands covering his face as he tried to remove the memories of the violence he saw in the span of the past few minutes. His phone buzzed, alerting him of a call. Pulling it out of his pocket, he looked at the number. His mother. He tentatively answered. "Hello?", he said weakly. "Robert... Thank God. Are you safe?". "Y-yeah", was his answer as to not worry her. "Good. I-... You. Don't come home, we... Won't be here if you do". There was groans and the sound of broken glass. His mother's voice grew tense and she spoke quickly. "Don't go home. Stay safe. Survive". "...Mom?", was the only word he could utter. "Promise me", her voice full of desperation. "I... I promise". There was a silent pause but Robert could feel the grim triumph on his mother's face, like she'd found peace in the world. It ended quickly, he could hear his mother begin to say more but it was silenced by a blood curdling scream, the sound of gunshots, and finally a dreaded silence. Deathly silence. Robert sat in a stunned stillness, his eyes wide and finally tears leaked out. He sat quietly in the Janitors closet, unsure of what to do. He hung up the phone, and stared at the wall. No one would be waiting for him at home... Dead. It was a word that danced in his head, and yet he couldn't accept it. It was just his mother, the call... Only her death couldn't be refuted. It made him feel dizzy, his head spinning. His eyes closed as a pained expression covered his face. Mother, she was dead... ...But his father, his brothers and sisters. Surely they made it out? He could only hope, as a burning determination began to settle in his heart. He didn't care if he died, so long as he made sure they were safe. "I'm sorry mom", he said softly. Breaking promises wasn't easy, but this wasn't something he could just sweep under the rug. Robert needed to go home. Edited at December 6, 2021 08:00 PM by Kings of Winter~

Felicity || 17 & ⅝ || Student || M: Open Loud bangs emitted from the ceiling as Felicity crawled through the vents. Screams filtered through the area beneath her. Moments ago, similar screams and the splintering of wood could be heard coming from the very room she had left. Shudders ran the length of her spine as her ears rang in remembrance. The black haired girl continued to shuffle through the maze of vents, looking through open areas to figure out where exactly she was. After many rooms, she found a familiar room - the flood lined with padding and punching bags hanging from the ceiling. The martial arts room. The female smirks, opening the entrance to the vent and dropping down silently. No one was in the room. As quietly as before, she rushes over to the weapons closet. Rummaging through, she discovers her bo staff as well as a katana. These will come in handy. Felicity straps the katana around her waist while grading the holster for her staff and wrapping it around her back - still keeping the staff in hand, however. Once done, she begins to plan her next moves. Now, where to go next.

Samira Octuras | Student | M: Open . Wincing her eyes, she couldn't help but notice the ear wrenching screams of the other students. But who could blame them? The school had been infested with the dead and nobody was stopping it. Samira limped down the hall, holding her bo staff in one hand while grabbing her leg with the other. So far the hallway she was down was clear. It wasn't until she turned the corner and was face to face with a deformed figure. The skin complexion was pale with a tint of very light green., symbolizing this thing wasn't alive. The zombie was groaning in Samira's face, but suddenly stopped when a whirring sound appeared as she swung the bo staff and knocked the head clean off. . Samira continued limping down the hall, her flannel still secured on her leg. In the distance she could see former classmates getting mailed by these things. There was no helping them now. Samira instantly turned the other direction and went as fast as she could. She saw a small closet opened slightly and made her way inside. She had to take a break from all the pressure she was putting on her leg. Samira sat down in the small closeted area but realized the door couldn't close all the way. She just let it be and buried her face in her knees. . All she could think about is what her family was doing. If they were even alive because Samira was unsure if the apocalypse was happening simply just in school or if the dead traveled throughout the city. Either way, Samira had to survive. She let out small whimpers, thinking of the worst that could happen. She wanted to full on sob but she couldn't afford to be a distraction. Samira held her bo staff tightly in her sweaty hand. She looked through the crack of the door and saw more zombies flooding the hall. God, where were the police? Or someone? Some team? She thought to herself. She didn't know how much longer she could take this, but her main thought was that she hoped none of the zombies would see her through the crack of the door. |

Robert || 16 || Student || M: Samira, Open Robb made his way to his feet, finding the internal strength to stand. He took a few breaths, reigning in his emotions before taking a look around the closet. There wasn't much... An old tin trash can, a broom, a screw driver, and several bottles of cleaning supplies. He frowned, he could never once get an ounce of luck. He took the lid off the trash can and stared into it with a cautious expression. He sighed, rolling up his sleeves and begrudgingly began to rummage through the trash searching for anything of use. 'You never know what people could throw away', he was once told. Truth be told, he didn't have much hope for what he might find and his expectations were met for the most part. Old papers. Tossed out food. Trash. Still, he kept looking. He search for several minutes before a smile erupted on his face. A lighter... Useful, though not in this instance. He pocketed the lighter. He finished searching with an annoyed growl. Nothing. Robert pinched his nose, surely he could think of something. It wasn't hopeless. He just needed to make an opening and run. His eyes widened, and a small grin grew on his face. Robb took off his backpack and set it upon the floor, the cleaning supplies could be useful... Most brands were flammable, a makeshift molotov. The screw driver could also be a help... It was rather obvious what they could do. Taking the trash cans lid in his left hand, and the broom in the other... All he needed to be was fast, forceful. He stood by the door, readying himself. "Alright... You'll be fine... You've had worse odds... What about the time you snuck out?", he said to himself trying to reassure himself. With a deep breath he forced the door open, immediately one of the creatures in the hall entered the closet before being knocked down by a kick to the chest. Robb charged out of the closet, using the trash can lid as a shield to avoid the hungry mouths awaiting him, while keeping a distance from the Dead Ones with the broom and swatting at them. He shut the door behind him, trapping the first attacker in the closet. 'Unless they can open doors', his inner cynic said. A hand grabbed him by the shoulder, which immediately let go once Robb backhanded the perpetrator with the makeshift shield. It became a song and dance, any Dead Ones who grew close were shoved over as Robert maneuvered himself around the group till they no longer surrounded him. Once he found an opening, he took it... Tossing the broom with reckless abandon, which smacked one of the Dead Ones right in the face, stunning it for a moment. Robb soon turned and ran. His goal was an exit, any exit. If he was to get home, he needed to leave. He followed the halls, avoiding the Dead Ones as best he could, sticking to the walls as to not worry about his backside. He felt paranoid with every step... He was being hunted. He trudged on for a while, his path paved with the half eaten corpses of students. Some barely even recognizable, and others... Some he recognized, people everyday in his classes. The smell of blood was overwhelming, and made his head feel fuzzy. His legs trembled, wobbling like a twig in the wind. Occasionally he could hear far away screams... Like banshees, their blood curdling songs only ending with death. He occasionally needed to stop to try and gather his thoughts, other times he simply couldn't control the tears. This was to much... Robert entered a hallway near the front lobby, a group of the Dead Ones traveling done the hall towards the cafeteria. Away from the front doors, this was his chance. He began to travel done the hall slowly, continuing his tactic of staying by the walls. He passed by a closet, having not realized the door wasn't completely closed until he leaned upon the door and immediately fell into the doorway as it opened up from behind him. Laying upon his back, he quickly searched the closet with manic speed. The first thing he noticed was light brown eyes, before more details showed themselves. Before him was a girl. A living girl, not one of those creatures. He opened his mouth to speak but no words seemed to come out aside from a started whisper. He took a moment to gather himself before realizing he was still laying upon the floor. Embarrassed, he quickly found his feet. Within this moment, he took his time observing the girl. The tears were fresh on her face, it was obvious she had been suffering just as much as he. His expression grew soft with understanding, as he crouched down to eye level. He wasn't sure what exactly to say, but he was sure his expression said it better than he could ever. Sorry for the things they've seen in the last hour. Sorry for the pain. Sorry for the fear. Sorry that there was nothing they could do. Sorry that things would moat definitely never be the same after this. "I am sorry", he said softly. The words seemed to slip out, and he slowly looked away from her. His eyes resting on the doorway, it made him frown slightly, 'I just had to fight my way out of a closet. Not doing that again'. "The group of creatures in the hall are heading towards the cafeteria. I don't know what you want to do, but you should probably get outta here. No need of being trapped in here, you should find somewhere safe", he said quietly. He kept his voice as soft and calming as possible, but he could feel the shakiness. As if he didn't quite feel certain in his words... Is anywhere safe now? Edited at December 10, 2021 05:24 PM by Kings of Winter~

Levi Voege || 17 || M: Pax, Jessica There was a moment of silence before a tentative head popped up from behind a desk. Levi hefted his whittling project like a javelin and studied the figure, turning away in satisfaction once the human -- a human, thank goodness -- reassured both him and the girl that he was not a monster. Goodie. Levi gave him an abrupt nod and moved his eyes to fixate on the girl. "And where would that be?" he questioned, his smooth voice piquing in mild curiosity. As the dark haired girl moved to the window, Levi stood and followed. He tracked her gaze towards the woods and hummed with uncertainty. "You mean the axe?" He'd been thinking more along the lines of food, but... Well, he didn't want to be the only one in the room with a weapon. Levi leaned back against the opposite frame of the window and rubbed the back of his neck with furrowed brows. "I mean, it would be handy. How do you plan on getting it, though?" The blond student went back to carving his pike, sending curled wood shavings fluttering to the ground around him. His eyes moved back towards the other male in the room and he asked, "What about you? Know where any food or weapons are?" He took a deep, slow breath and then added, "I've got some food, but it's almost all perishable. Couple granola bars. Water bottles. We can use the water fountains if we have to to refill them, but we're gonna need some ammo of some sort t'get there."

Pax Moore || 17 || M: Levi, Jessica Pax relaxed as the other male put down his sudden brandished weapon. Thank god, he hadn't been attacked.Even just for a moment he let his body untense, slumping in his seat a bit. But quickly the situation at hand hit him again at full force. At the question of reascources, and the Axe outside the window, Pax found himself counting his own inventory. He hardly had any time to grab anything. He looked up as the male mentioned him. "Well.. I have this for a weapon" He held up his wrench, swinging it back and fourth. Food wise not much. His lunch he hadn't ate and a large thermos of water... "OH!" He practically yelled. Grabbing his backpack off the group and rummeging through it. It took a minute but he proudly pulled out a small med kit. He held it up for the others to see. "Its totally new, its small but its got the basics!" He placed it on the table, happy he was contributing. Pax looked between the two. "We are, traveling together right?" Pax tried to hide the desperation in his voice, he really, REALLY didn't want to be alone during all this.

Elizabeth nodded. "We probably should stick together. I did go and grab a lot of food." She walked over to the desk and set the food down. There were 5 water bottles, a few bags of Cheetos, and other stuff that you would find in a vending machine. "I have a Kanata and a Nunchuk. I know how to use the Nunchuk but I'm going to have to learn how to use the Kanata." Elizabeth went to the window "I might be able to go get the ax for you if you want it. Oh, maybe we should introduce ourselves. My name is Elizabeth." She turned to the other female. "We should try and find other survivors too."
