Emma/Oak/Mother/Female/M:Open Emma woke up from her sleep and decided to go for a walk. She was about to walk out of camp when she heard something outside of the camp. She decided to stay inside camp for the safety of her and her pups. She couldn't decided what to do after that and decided to look for Natan around camp. She stopped as soon as she felt kicking so she decided to lay back down. Emma thought I hope Natan is okay because recent events have me worried about every safety even though i wont say it out loud. She had then decided she would wait for him to come see her. She hoped that it would be soon though. She was never really too much of a social butterfly. Emma didn't really want anything bad to happen to her tribe. After awhile she had dozed off. Emma started to dream and it wasn't a pleasnt one at that. She jolted awake from the dream. She thought about it for a bit and then decided to leave it alone. She got up and walked to a shaded tree in camp. She laid down under the tree to get out of the sun. Cawls | 2.5 | Oak Tribe | Warrior | M: Nymph, Cawls pushed on in the tall, wavy grass. A couple times a blade would bend down low tickled his wet nose. Once he started sneezing, he’d never stop so he desperately tried to plug his nose or hold back one. Finally the wild forest of greenery ended and he was proud of himself for surviving. He looked up to see that Nymph had released her side, so he followed suite. He was glad that she had been put in charge instead of him, because they would’ve been better off with a duck leading them. He naturally sat down, both from habit and also because he was tired from dragging the dead lump of fur and filth around. The tall grass made them lag some too, making it more difficult. “Ah,” he looked down at the fox. He didn’t want to carry it further than necessary and Avalon just said to carry it across the border, not specifically how far. “I think just outside the border will be good.” He could feel a slight tickle on his neck which was probably some nasty creature. He started to scratch at it while he waited for Nymph to respond, but unfortunately it was beyond his reach. He imagined the bug smirking at his failed attempts to fling it off his back.

Avalon | 5 | Oak Tribe| Lieutenant | M: Mike, Rouge Female Avalon had just marked a lone tree when he caught a whiff of a strange dog, then Mike gave out a low growl which affirmed his nose. He curled his lip and whipped around to see the large, stocky red-brown male being attacked. The female was scarred and her pelt looked sick and ill-taken cared of. Avalon watched as they moved and fought at each other, anxious to attack. However, they were a blurring mass of fur and he couldn’t tell which dog was which. He didn’t need to act hastily and end up injuring his companion further. There was a pause and Avalon took it as his chance to get into the fight. The female had latched her teeth into Mike’s broad shoulder. Snarling, he leapt at her and struck for her nearest body part, her leg. He sunk his fangs into her wiry thigh and she let out a yip, causing her to release Mike. However, she whirled down at Avalon and grabbed his scruff in her yellow teeth and she struck out again for a better grip. In response, Avalon released her thigh. With a hold on his neck, she growled a warning to the others. “Attack and I’ll kill him.” Her speech was muffled by Avalon’s skin in her mouth, but it was still understandable. Chinook || 5 || Ash Tribe || Alpha || M: Cirrus, Rue The large dog dipped his head as Cirrus signalled that both he and Rue were ready. When the female confirmed the first's statement, Chinook released a small ruff and turned himself towards the main exit of the denning area. A few long strides carried him out into the forest and he immediately headed towards their border with Oak. Even if it had not been a member of their sister tribe who had killed Night, something had, and they had done it there. Were it to have stuck around, Chinook would find it. He remained quiet, rehearsing a variety of patrol scenarios while his ears and eyes darted back and forth. The birds were calling, seeming to pay no mind to the three dogs travelling below them. Chinook's thoughts concerning Night grew louder; each pawstep carried him at a slightly faster pace than the one previous until he was nearly at a trot. The smells of old blood and rank fear grew stronger, stronger -- Chinook focused in on the present and tensed, staring over the imaginary line into Oak Tribe territory. The forest had gone eerily silent; only the wind made any noise in the trees. It brought a frigid breeze with it, and for a moment Chinook could almost see the still form of the little apprentice. By now, his hackles had raised and he hadn't realized that his lip had begun to curl. He whipped around to face Cirrus and Rue and said stiffly, "Now that we are in less of a state of shock, I'd like to see if we can track down our murderer. The morning dew should not have affected scents too terribly. If we can tell whether they were in our territory... where Night's trail starts, where our borders end... then perhaps we can find out who did this."

Cirrus | Ash Tribe | Interactions: Chinook, Rue Cirrus glanced at Rue, then looked forward once more. "Alright, let's go," he said, trotting after Chinook, slowing as he caught up to the larger dog. Cirrus said nothing as they moved through the forest, following Chinook as he led them through the forest, weaving back and forth between the trees. Cirrus noticed that Chinook was beginning to speed up a little, and he picked up his pace to match, trotting after his Alpha. After a walk all the way to the Ash and Oak Tribe's shared border, they stopped. Cirrus noticed that Chinook looked tense, and Cirrus backed away just a little. After a brief look around, he realized that they were at the location of Night's murder. A surprised look flashed across his face as Chinook explained what they were doing, but he quickly wiped it off and nodded. He had thought that this would just be a small hunting patrol, he was certainly not opposed to trying to find the murderer, whoever, or whatever, they were. As Chinook wrapped up his explanation, Cirrus nodded. "Yes, Alpha," he said, dipping his head. He wasted no more time talking; he immediately began searching around, sniffing the ground and air. He could still smell Night's scent, although it was very faint, and it was partially covered by slightly stronger scents of blood and rain. Cirrus looked up for a moment, looking at the visual signs of a struggle. Broken ferns and twigs, disturbed leaves. There were no pawprints; they had been washed away by the rain. Still, Cirrus began following the trail further back, trying to find the scent of the murderer.

Sage || Oak Shaman Apprentice || 1 Year, 10 Months || M: Mora, Frodo (ref), Emma Sage was a bit surprised at Mora’s quick shift away from what had just occurred. How could she brush that off so easily? After what had just happened? Her next words cause her fur to stand up, embarrassment flushing through her veins. The beagle mix turns her head to the side, ears pressed against her head as she grumbles out various words too quiet to hear. As the Shaman continues, she calms her embarrassment and looks back to her mentor. “I promise, Mora, I won’t leave without another dog” the mutt mumbles. The yorkie-colored female then heads back to the den to prepare herbs for her brother. The beagi follows closely behind, keeping a close eye on the other canine. Something seems a bit off, despite her insistence that she was fine. However, Mora continues to do exactly as she said, preparing and giving Frodo his herbs and checking on the herb stock. Despite having already done so, Sage doesn’t say a word, allowing her mentor to continue her work – all while keeping a close eye on her movements which appeared to be a tad sluggish. She does not look well, she thinks. As the older canine goes to leave the den, the brown eyed apprentice stops her before she goes too far. “I’ll get the herbs, Mora. You get some rest, you do not look well.” She leaves without allowing the older canine to answer. Before heading out to forage, the mutt lists off chores in her head. Gather supplies – after the other chores, check on the sick, and…, the apprentice pauses, forgetting something important. Something on the tip of her tongue. Suddenly, she hears a bird’s chirp and the flapping of wings. She looks up, spotting a mother bird feeding her hungry, freshly hatched chicks. It takes her a few more seconds, but she quickly remembers the final chore. Ah! I must check on Emma. This pack needs some pups, after all. Thank you, Ancestors, for reminding me. Looking around, she spots the expecting mother under a tree. Trotting over, Sage keeps her head held high and her gaze slightly sharp and focused. Her “white flag” is held high in the air, wagging as she approaches. She stops in front of the mother’s head. “Emma, I believe it is time for a check up?” Edited at March 20, 2022 12:16 PM by High Hills Pack

Emma/Mother/Oak/Female/M:Sage,Naruto(Ref),Breeze(Ref) Emma looks up and sees Sage the Shaman apprentice. She asks "What happened to Mora and while I was asleep Sage." Emma wasn't sure what had happened while she slept. She says "I can't wait for the pups" she smiles as she thinks about the pups. Emma rolls into her back so that Sage could check. Emma thought about the pups where and how many she would have. She hoped she would at least have two pups or three. Emma looked around camp while waiting for Sage's answer. She happened to spot Breeze sleeping and thought I'm glad she needs it after what happened yesterday. She then turns her head around camp and thought some of her tribe mates where out patrolling or hunting. She wondered how the Hunt was going. She remembered the deer she eat off of and noticed only Naruto's scent and thought Naruto did a great job catching that. She wasn't sure how Sage would check the pups but her back was starting to hurt so she rolled into her side. Emma waited for Sage to check the pups.

Nick/Male/Oak/Warrior/4/M: Emma(Ref), Sage(Ref), Naruto(Ref), Breeze Nick was just waking up and he stretched then he stands up. He walked out of the den and saw Emma and Sage under a tree. He looked to the Alphas den and saw Breeze asleep so he walked over to her and said "Um excuse me Alpha...Are you up for talking?" He looked at Breeze wondering if she would answer but she seemed so peaceful at the moment. He then turned and looked back over at Emma and Sage. He thought Sage must be checking on the unborn pups. Nick wondered how everyone else was but didn't see many in the camp. He thought They must have went out for Patrols and hunting though i woun't be surprised if something else had happened while i was asleep. He turn to face the whole camp and sat down just close enough to Breeze so they could talk if she woke up but he did keep his distance. As he watched Sage and Emma he wondered what they where talking about. He hoped there would be little pups running around soon and maybe another pregnancy. He then looked around and thought about everything that had happened yesterday. Nick wondered how the tribes would cope with this conflict and loss. He looked around agian to see if anyone else was waking up. Nick then looked back at Breeze and wondered if she and Naruto would be mates anytime soon. Edited at March 22, 2022 04:17 PM by Charlie

Breeze / 6 / Female / Oak Tribe / Alpha Breeze opened one eye and looked at Nick. He had not woken her up, she had just been dozing ever since she had woken alarmingly quickly from her nightmare. The nightmare still shocked her, her heart rate was still rather fast, her breathing slightly ragged. Breeze glanced wearily around, her dream still fresh in her head. Shaking her body she stretched and stood up, spying Sage checking Emma’s pups on the other side of camp. She nodded respectfully to the mother-to-be and the Oak Tribe’s Medic Apprentice. The Tribe will do well with new blood, she thought self-consciously. Then her mind drifted back, past the murder of Night, back to her first dream. Maybe I will have pups one day… She murmured almost inaudibly to herself. Still thinking of Naruto she pricked her ears in the hope that the large male would be coming back from patrol relatively soon. But alas, she didn’t hear him… Turning back to Nick, she sat down beside the male warrior. Turning her head and looking at him, she nodded and straightened slightly. “What is it you want to talk about? I am all ears.” She said kindly to the male.

Nick/4/Oak/Male/Warrior Nick saw that Breeze had gotten up and said "I was wondering if you and Naruto where mates yet because i was thinking you guys would make some good pups." Nick didn't know what he was saying to he was finished and he then said "Sorry Alpha I didn't mean to say that....I guess my curiosity got the best of me." He didn't know how Breeze would react to his question though he didn't mean to pry. Nick had thought about getting a mate but wasn't sure. He did want new blood in the pack tho and with Emma's pups on the way it would be great. He had turned to face her wondering if he would get an answer or not. Nick had thought about other Tribe mate pairings and what there pups would look like. He was very curious about how the Ash tribe was doing but thought it best not to ask. He had heard about Night and he thought He won't let anyone get away with that no matter what. Nick snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Breeze. Nick moved a bit to look Breeze in the face.
