The large male slid from his den, growling softly as the early morning light momentarily blinded him. He hated the early morning, always had and always would. But it was his duty to be up early to do border patrols, so he would comply. Glancing back into the den, he noticed that his sister, Neryth, was still sleeping. Rolling his eyes, he backed up so he could reach her with one paw, then poked her. "Wake up, lazy bones. It's already sunrise," he huffed at her.

Neryth stirred with a jolt as her brother poked her. "Huh? What?" She looked around, blinking blearily at the walls of their den. Her eyes took a few moments to focus in on Kaisen, standing over her. "Oh. It's you," she sighed heavily, flopping her head back down on her paws. "Why'd you have to wake me up so early. You know I was on a night patrol last night."

Wendigo has been staring in the direction that he and kodiac went yesterday for a while, he shaps out of his thoughts and joins the other wondering if he missed his chance to eat, the encounter from the lurker still shook him, it was smart it went after the 2 wolves instead of the hunting party which he sadly missed.

Kodiak nods to Azalea then sees Wendigo join the line. He walks back to stand with Wendigo. " How are you after what happend?" Kodiak was worried because Wendigo hadnt said anything after they got back. He also saw how Wendigo was staring at the path they took yesterday and was wondering if Wendigo had any lasting effects.

Wendigo walks over to the prey pile and also grabs a rabbit and he eats it, he heads to the hunters den after a while and tries to sleep

Still thinking about the dream, Ivy sat outside the mouth of the den, watching the pack. She noticed a couple of rabbits left on the food pile, but she wasn't hungry. Every couple of weeks, their pack became smaller and smaller. While it meant that there was less wolves who needed healing, Ivy wished that the wolves who had frozen by the Beast were still there. Watching the other wolves socialize, Ivy began to wonder if there was a way to escape the Beast.
