Alexandra Wolff || 15 || Fire || Female || Shifter || M: Open - It was Saturday, finally. Time to relax. I leap from my window and shift to a hawk. Wheeling around in the air, I swoop into a dive and light on a tree limb. My black body socks up the few sunrays just breaching over the trees. Wings unfurling into a large flap as I smile a birdy smile. I may look like a hawk, but definitely do not "Look" like one. My mind races faster than the speed of light. What it runs to is a fun day off. Gently, I soar down from the branch to the ground where I shift to a human and dig through a bag for Keeper of the Lost Cities. - Is three votes enough to skip time? It wasn't often that the intercoms buzzed overhead. The administration preferred to let the students learn how to govern themselves, with proper authority and overhead supervision of course. But the first Saturday of a semester was always when the intercoms buzzed to life. "Good morning, it is 8:30am on this fine Saturday. For those who are wondering, the main faculties will be operational and open. This includes the cafeteria, gym, library, study halls and courtyard gardens." And just like that, once again, the intercoms fade into the silence. The voice, Malcolm, gently settles into the morning hum of a warm weekend. Those who have gone for a few years know the weekend is usually a time for students to do what they need or want to do. Aside from go outside the school grounds of course. That is prohibited and dangerous. So, most students gather into their groups and study, clean, and relax from the first week of school. ----- It's now Saturday 8:30 am.

Silver Mar || 14 || F || Fire || Memory Magic || M: Open It had been a long week. Not too hard, but she didn't know the last time she had thought that much. The dimension she had come from was very old-fashioned, only the rich had the luxury of school and then often only the boys did more complex things. She was in mostly remedial classes because of that. Though, I did manage to teach myself a bit. They never did lock the schoolhouse doors, and there was that one boy who always left his books in the desk. But now it was the weekend and she had no clue what to do with herself. She had already done her morning exercise and was now eating her breakfast in a corner of the dining hall. Looking out at the room, she pondered what she would do that day.

Kalen Hemera // 17 // Fire Lead // M // Tigon Shifter // M: Open Perhaps in the back of his mind, Kalen had hoped to sleep a little bit longer than he actually had. The intercom buzzing in from the hallways stirred him from sleeping in more than he originally desired. Piercing green eyes slowly slid open, glancing up toward the ceiling before he rolled onto his back with a short chuff of air, his hands falling onto his chest. Well, now that he was actually awake... he wasn't going to be sleeping again. Once awake, always awake. That was how his brain seemed to work, much to his chagrin. He didn't bother with looking too fashionable--usually didn't when first getting up and out to get something to eat. Kalen managed a grey T-shirt, blue-ish sweatpants and a pair of slides before shuffling out into the hallway and making his way down the hallways of the dorms. His eyes flicked from side to side, watching the shadows and the other early risers. As long as he didn't have to bother with the Star lead again. Ugh. That was a mess of a report. Some idiot fire student breaking rules in the cafeteria, which of course he had to bring to Malcolm... A shiver ran down his spine. Kalen wasn't a fan of the Headmaster. There was something... off about him. The Alicorn shifter had an uncanny smile, it seemed too bright, too much to be genuine kindness or joy. There was something behind his emotions that he couldn't understand and part of him didn't want to understand either. The young man paused, looking into the cafeteria for a silent moment, gathering his thoughts. Finally, the sigh left his chest and he finally made his way into the line, snagged a simple bagel, and then took a seat at an empty table while he aimlessly munched on a somewhat semblance of breakfast and sorted out his thoughts for the day.

((Just editing this one so I don't fill up too much space.)) Edsel "Eddie" Virginia // 15 // M // Vampiric Siren // M: Star Learning how to function throughout life was a bit of a challenge. He couldn't lie. He couldn't even really say how much it had changed yet because he was still discovering new things each and every day. Like that one day, thursday, when they had garlic bread with dinner? That was a whole mess wrapped in itself. Or the fact that he could see himself in a mirror... but not touch it. The message from the headmaster had also woken him up. But it wasn't that early, it was just half past eight. Eddie knew he had a tendency to drift off into his thoughts and just think for a bit but even then, he had enough spacial awareness to not stand in the middle of the hallway. However, when someone bumped into him, the first reaction was an "oop--my bad" that escaped from his lips as he stumbled to step toward the wall. But with the faint growl that came after it? Eddie's ruby red eyes flicked to look at the offending student. "... excuse me?" His tone was light and tight-lipped. "I was just standing here, you ran into me." ((You'll want to add a title tag for your post so that people know your character name and basics!)) Edsel "Eddie" Virginia // 15 // M // Vampiric Siren // Mentions: Star "... so you're just going to look away," Eddie said slowly, trying to make sense of the situation. It wasn't that he was offended-which he was almost certain he should have been. It was definite confusion in his eyes. The way he tilted his head, eyes blinking and mouth partially open. His hands lifted, uncertain, gesturing toward each other before he finally shook his head and lowered his hands. "Are..." Eddie trailed off once again, trying to scrounge together the words to identify how exactly he was feeling. Or even how to address the situation. "I get that I'm not from above land, most of the time, well, I am now--but... don't most others... apologize after running into someone?" A lot of kids, he noticed, even apologized to things that had no feelings. Or weren't alive. Like desks.
