So, the general consensus is that we'd eat them and (potentially) tame them so that we could eat them.
Sounds about right; on par for mankind if we're being honest.

I feel bad for people who were the first ones to try it in the trial and error honestly lmao. Although I'm curious on how much pufferfish chefs make if it's that much of a delicacy and takes that long to be certified in preparing it

Stellan Westfield // 23 // Zeus // M: Aelia, Rayanna

Well, he had been in a lot of different places. Should he have been in most of them? Oh absolutely not but that was beside the point. What they didn't know couldn't hurt them. Or incriminate him either. But either way, he was focusing on the present which, in his opinion, was far more important than anything else.

The young woman to his left was a demigod from Hemera. While slightly obscure, the goddess of the dawn was at least around sometimes. Usually with the early birds. Stellan enjoyed his sleep. He was not usually an early riser at all.

Rayanna, to his right, was from Apollo. And, as the young man with wings mumbled "Zephyrus is my dad," it answered the question of where the wings came from.

However, Stellan suddenly had a small pit in his stomach that said 'I really don't want to say who my dad is....'

So he just didn't, he focused on Rayanna's comment about the dream. "No, no, you're absolutely right. I remember something about that too. Seeing... maybe potential or something? I honestly don't remember," he stepped back, toward the main desk and entrance. The distant windows seemed to hold golden sunshine that trickled downward.

"It looks nice and warm," Stellan commented. "I'll take it at least. Far better than the snow where I was."

Aelia | Female | 18 | Hemera | Mentions: Tree, Lucius, Rayanna, Stellan (direct)
.
"Apollo and Zephyrus..." Aelia muttered. "Hmm." She looked around the blank, empty hallway and stayed silent for a moment. "Zephyrus," she repeated, turning to Lucius. "I suppose that's where you got your wings from?"
.
The little group of demigods began heading toward the front desk and the entrance. Aelia decided to follow them, because again, as Stellan had said, being with a group was better than being alone. Especially, she thought, if you are in some random hotel out in the middle of possibly nowhere.
.
They stepped out into the atrium, where sunlight filtered in, bright and buttery yellow, through the large windows. "Warm," Aelia said. "That's nice." She snorted. "Although, if you ask me, which you didn't, but I'm saying this anyways, there is nothing wrong with snow." She squinted at the light. "To be honest, I like it better darker. The sunlight hurts my eyes." Aelia glanced around at her newfound companions. "Yep, that's me, a daughter of Hemera, goddess of the day, disliking daylight."
.
She suddenly frowned and turned to look at Stellan. "Who did you say your godly parent was...?"

Dimitri Molotov Tree | He/Him | 20 | Demeter

M: Lucious, Rayanna, Stellan, Aelia(dir.)

≪𖠰♡𖠰≫

Tree looked back at the other demigods as they started their little introductions about who their parents were. He scrunched his brows together slightly, not that anyone would see with his overgrown bangs and all.

Was that really something he wanted to deal with sharing? Like sure they were all demigods, and kind of part of one big... Messed up not-quite-family...

Demeter didn't exactly appreciate some of the other gods though.

Or- well- he assumed his mom didn't. Because some of the myths and all that, especially when it came to her kids. And the feeling was probably mutual in some ways too. Plus didn't she turn down a couple of them for marriage??

≪𖠰♡𖠰≫

He listened as people listed their parents off, and the one girl - shoot um name name. The newest one. Daughter of Hemera as she just introduced herself- well she was prodding Stellan who didn't seem all that interested in sharing.

His eye twitched slightly as she made a point to also talk about how she was soo quirky 'daughter of the goddess of day disliking daylight blah blah' gods it was going to be a long day if he had to listen to this.

Stop that- bigger issues.

≪𖠰♡𖠰≫

Oh damn seems they all had a weird dream though. That was... Cool? Actually he could totally get away with pretending he remembered what it was about if the other knew. Bam. Weird dream problem solved. He was so good at this mystery stuff.

≪𖠰♡𖠰≫

"Not all the gods have a great rep y'know- would it really be the end of the world if he didn't want to share?" He wish he could say he shot it back like some quick witted something. He didn't though. It sounded more like a general suggestion than anything.

Irvin Connelay | M | 23 | Hermes | M: Tree {dir.}, Others {ind.}

This is not ideal, Irvin decided, after little deliberation. As he held onto the fleeting hope that the bell could summon an entity capable of offering some assurance, he was reminded of an all too optimistic professor he snubbed the year prior. He illustrated the theory that rather than take hardship and difficulty at a negative face value, one should embrace challenge as a moment of character building and use it to reconstruct their definition of a person as a whole. Irvin wasn’t exactly one to entertain the babble of philosophers, but he briefly considered whether that one held some fraction of truth to their testament. And if so, did he really want this particular hardship to ‘redefine’ or ‘build’ onto his character?

Correcting his stance so he was standing straight with his hands on his hips, fingers drumming against his frame irritably, the brunet mistakenly caught the stare of someone he would have otherwise paid no mind to on an ordinary day. In fact, as he dared a few slow-paced steps toward the gathering of lemmings he had little empathy for - despite their evidently similar predicament - Irvin was more abundantly certain that this was hell. A brief flicker of judgment crossed his features as he paid closer attention to the boy he had originally assumed had some kind of cosplay wings on. Upon his nearing approach though, it became more clear they weren’t as fake as they had looked from afar. But that, as strange as it was, was far from the top of his list of priorities relating to the things he needed to sort out right now.

Encroaching on their discussion of godly parents, and with an internal eye roll, Irvin took a brief scrutinizing sweep of the faces belonging to the people he stood near. If they were all openly discussing godly parents, then he felt little need to discuss the dream he had, which he confidently assumed they must have all shared, or at least experienced a similar one he did. Only briefly did he take interest in the gent the brunette girl questioned, and then traded that glance towards the fellow with an interesting array of colors that made up his hair. “That would challenge the very notion of the widely accepted ‘sharing is caring’ clause of societal etiquette,” Irvin interjected to the other male, albeit sarcastically. “I’ll demonstrate,” he added, pressing his hands to his chest in mock amiability as he outstretched his attention to the others gathered. “I’m Irvin, my deadbeat parent of divinity is Hermes. I don’t care who you all are, and I consider being diminished to potentially needing any of you to navigate this mess the lowest point of my life thus far.” He smiled with faux sincerity.

“Moving forward, I would find it most useful to kindly share theories involving this-” his finger twirled in gesture of the entire hotel. Irvin wholeheartedly expected to be met with at least one person on the same internal level of alarm as him who was also willing to deliberate on this dilemma without delay. Of course, he had his own ideas, but he had the agonizing sense that this problem required the approach of everyone here versus just himself. Which was a difficult fate to swallow, especially with his entire being wanting to impulsively get to the root of everything as fast as possible, with or without the use of pragmatics if theory made sense enough, all for the sake of him being able to swiftly return to enjoying his privileged life.

Rayanna Green | F | 17 | Apollo | M: Tree, Aelia, Stellan, Irvin,
.
Rayanna tilted her head at Stellan, curious about who his godly parent is, but she understood that he might not want to say and she didn't really blame him. She probably wouldn't have told them if they were under normal circumstances and didn't know that they were demigods too.
.
It also seemed they had all had dreams that were either the same or at least related in some ways, which was comforting in a way... and kind of freaky too-
.
"How about we continue this outside? Let's get some fresh air and a better idea of where we are for now since that's a bigger concern at th-" Rayanna started, she noticing that Stellan and Tree didn't want to share about their parents and she was fine with that, honestly it was their choice to share if and when they wanted to, but she cut herself off as another person joined their group and spoke.
.
The new guy, Irvin, had slicked back hair that was a little messy probably from when he got up and was apparently a child of Hermes, the god of trickery, travel, and trade to name a few things, fun- He was also kind of annoying Rayanna decided after a moment, but maybe that's just how he is and she'd learn to get used to it.
.
As for his question, Rayanna just shrugged in response. She currently had no idea and wanted to look around, maybe find out if there were resources around here or something.

Stellan Westfield + Lucius Zeller // 23 + 17 // Zeus + Zephyrus // M: y'all. Lol

Lucius's soft sapphire eyes flicked towards Aelia as she spoke about his parent. Rather than speak, he just nodded briefly. That was essentially the gist of it. The most he had ever gotten from his parent was the wings. That was it. Maybe a little spring storm or breeze if he really got irritated but that was hard to do. Emotions in general were hard to feel. It was easier to just feel calm and chill, maybe a little curious.

But his eyes also glanced toward Stellan as he avoided the question. His words were swallowed as Tree stated that he didn't have to share if he didn't want to.

Stellan, however, avoiding the issue entirely, reached toward Irvin. His warm smile fell silently into a much more dry and slightly reluctant neutral line and his hand fell to his side. One hand lifted up to rub at his forehead for a moment or two. How... gracious of him. "Thieves? Or the pain in our backs?" He muttered under his breath before managing another weak smile. "Well, I have a feeling that Rayanna is probably more correct. Theories and such may be answered if we head outside," he took a step back again, turning on his heel.

Lucius glanced briefly toward the others before shaking his head, glanced toward Aelia and leaned close. "How long before you think they start throwing hands?" He whispered quietly. "I'm giving it a half hour."

Aelia | Female | 18 | Hemera | Mentions: Stellan, Tree, Irvin, Lucius (direct)
.
Stellan seemed to be entirely pretending that Aelia had not asked the question about divine parents. Like, completely, utterly ignoring it. So was the green-haired demigod, Tree. Hmm. Interesting. But then, Aelia herself had suggested that it might be personal information, so perhaps she should stop prodding. Oops.
.
Tree suddenly spoke up. Aelia flinched. "Oh, um, I- nevermind, sorry. I'm just being rude." She worried anxiously at her hand, digging her nails into her palm. Just shut up, she mentally scolded herself. Shush before you make a fool of yourself! Stop sticking your nose in other people's business!
.
It was quite difficult, though. Her undying curiosity was screaming to know who Stellan and Tree's godly parent were. Aelia dug her nails deeper into her palm before she could blurt out anything else. She was probably going to have tiny crescents etched in her skin later. Oh well. Anything not to embarrass herself. But what if the other demigods assumed she could be pushed around easily if she didn't push the matter? What if-
.
She shook her head before she zoned out again. Before she could do anything else, another demigod joined the group. He had slicked-back brown hair and glittering brown eyes, and had what had to be the falsest smile Aelia had ever seen in her life, which was saying a lot, because she had seen many false smiles before. But then, maybe he was grinning like that on purpose. His next words seemed to reflect that, introducing himself as Irvin and a son of Hermes, along with quite a colorful array of other statements that she considered shockingly rude in a passive-aggressive way.
.
Yep, Aelia decided. Definitely fake on purpose.
.
And definitely very annoying, she added after a moment. She watched as Irvin and Stellan spoke to each other, which appeared to be a rather thankless activity.
.
"Outside," she said thoughtfully to herself, thinking over what Rayanna had just said. "Well, going outside is better than staying in this place, I suppose..." She jumped when Lucius leaned toward her. She took a second to process his question.
.
"Half an hour?" Aelia laughed softly. Ack, I hope he doesn't think I'm laughing at him. "How about... twenty minutes?"
