Aesira Arden | F | Blacksmith | Mentions: Renva, Jackson (ind) Aesira stopped her horse a good distance away from the other woman. She observed her surroundings, seeing no sight of anything that could be a threat other than the woman herself. She looked about Aesira's age, maybe a little bit younger. She watched as she braided her horse's mane, looking relatively peaceful and harmless. She whipped her head toward the woods when she heard the sound of hooves, seeing a man appear. He looked older than her, but not by much. His hair was closely cropped. Probably served the King. No wonder he had been chosen. He called out to the other woman, waving his hands like a child. She didn't fail to notice the hand that fell on his sword. Aesira stayed where she was, watching the odd interaction. The woman finally spoke, her voice thick with an accent. Aesira's eyes widened slightly as the man's sword flew right into the woman's hands. So she was a magic wielder as well. She couldn't hear most of the conversation, but managed to pick up the words telekinesis, and Renva. She assumed the later was the woman's name. Aesira was even more confused when Renva's eyes widened, along with the man's. Aesira glanced around the clearing in confusion. She saw nothing out of the ordinary. Aesira glanced around for anyone else approaching that she didn't see, then strained her ears in attempt to hear the rest of their conversation. Jackson J. Spears l Male l Soldier l M: Revna, Aesira . Jackson's hand self consciously moved to his hair, rubbing it slightly. I guess I could grow it out He said through his mind to the girl. As she spoke, his hand still held tightly to gis sword. He wasnt sure if this woman was a friend or foe, and he didnt have to wait long. He felt a bit of energy as his sword was plucked from his hand. Like a lollipop from childs hand. He sat there on Reckless, wide eyed, as his horse munched on the grasses on the edge of the oath. Love? He repeated in his head, as his sword floated back to him, a small clear mist surrounding it. Like it had a mind of its own it landed back in his sheath. He wouldnt make that mistake again. She seemed to have a curious look on her face, as she poked her horse near to him. She placed her hand on his back, and he instantly felt an electric buzz, a connection. Instantly he put up his borders, nit lettimg her into his mind. She wouldnt win thate easily. She took her hand of his back, and he immedately opened his mind. He looked her in the eyes, and she seemed shocked. She took off her hood and her beautiful blond curls fell out, but he stayed trained on her, hearing her thoughts, but not speaking. He could still hear the strange voices, but he was more fovused now. But he knew what she was thinking. He was going to take out the sword and try to attack her. But he wasnt going to do that, nit like her was in the first place. He stuck his right palm out, not towards the sword, but towards Revna, as she'd told him. Flames shot to life, and danced and curled within his fingertips. "The name's Jackson." He said, still focused on Revna. "Touch my sword again and I'll turn you into fired chicken." He then shut his palm, the flames extinguishing. Then reached into his pack and pulled out a loaf of bread and a sugar cube. He tossed her the loaf, and tossed the horse the sugar cube, who ate it gladly. "Sorry you didnt get what you wanted." He said, pointing to his head. "Now we're even." He turned his attention away from her and towards the direction of the castle. Then turned back towards her, his blue eyes looking around to make sure bothing was behind them, as the voices he continued to hear still loomed, getting louder. He hand wanted to draw his sword, but he didnt want to scare Revna again. His eyes locked on a figure directly behind Revna, it seemed to be anither person atop the horse. He used a bit of his energy and said through his mind, Dont even think about it. He didnt know who this person was, or if they were on the quest or not, but he wasn't taking any chances. He turned his steel blue eyed gaze back to Revna, awaiting her response. Edited at February 13, 2024 03:01 PM by Wolf Pride

Calum | Gardener/Assasain | M | M: Captain, Delphinium, open Calum had reached the end of the main road- or the only road- of his town. He took a deep breath and peered at the trees beyond, that had overgrown the path. No one had really been to the main part of the kingdom in a long, long time. He realesed his breath, and hopped of Captain. The horse wouldnt be able to find his way through the trees. He wasnt even sure he would be able to get through. Calum ran his fingers through Captains silky mane and took the horse's gear off. He let Captain wander off through the town. Despite the path back being long, he knew from experiance that the horse would be able to get there by himself. If not, many townspeople knew who the horse belonged to. And yes, he ha payed to ride a horse for a 5 mile journey. He didnt regret it either.Once again, he fixed his hair, took another deep breath in and out and stepped into the trees. Calum wandered through the forest for about an hour. The maze of plant life was hard to get to, and the little critters scurrying to and fro didnt make it any easier to travel. Ater about 2 hours of walking and jogging, he got to the end of the forest, and gazed in wonder at the street before him. He fixed his hair up again, and steadyed his bag on his shoulder, which ws about all he could do to better his appearance givving his tattered and torn clothing. He minded his words as he walked the street, sounding more mature than usual, which was quite hard for him. Calum walked, straight as he could, gaining speed and getting closer to his destination- which was still about 20 miles away- quicker and quicker. As he walked his kept his eye out for a horse for sale or one for rent. Being an assasain gives wonderful income. Then he spotted it. A mixed breed, most likely, though it strickingly resembled Holsteiner. He squinted his eyes as he got closer to its owner, a scruffy looking man, who was holding a sign scribled with a few words. The most stricking was the numbers 50. 'Only 50 for such a high-end crossbreed?' He wondered to himself. He broke off from the bustling group of shoppers and sellers. Calum walked up to the man and smiled weakly. The man looked at him, a tired, sad look. "Sir, I noticed you had a horse up for sale? May I ask its gender?" Calum said. He was really trying to sound proper. "Its a boy...." The old guy said. He looked Calum up and down. "You want him?" The man asked, thrusting the horses lead at him. "Oh! Uhh, yes," Calum said, his attempt at formality breaking. If this man was brave enough to sound normal in front of all the rich people, he assumed he should be too. "But, why is he so cheap?" Calum inquired. The man looked down "He was my late wifes. I don't want him anymore. So, 50, take it or leave it.". Calum payed the price and bought the horse, spending an extra 137 on a saddle and such. Now he wouldnt have to pay Marvin to ride captain anymore, at least. He didnt want to suddenly jump on the horse, like he did with Captain (He has riden Captain since he was younger, so the horse knows him), but he had places to be, and being late wouldn't give a good first impression. So despite his better judgement, he jumped on the horse and was subtly surprised at how well the horse took it. As he rode, he talked to the horse. "Whats your name, boy?" He said. He laughed slightly when the horse snorted after he said that. "Well, thats a great name, but Im going to call you something else. Flytrap, perhaps? Maybe Dlphinium?" Calum said, to which the horse snorted again. "Yes, I like Delphinium more too." He snickereeeeeeeedddd. A while later he was hyperventalating. Usually, he was a major extrovert, but he was about to walk into a castle. Looking like absolute rubbish. Oh, and he was there already. He rode his horse to the nearest gaurd, who paid him no mind. He pestered the gaurd for about a minute before the man turned to him and said "Leave, beggar." before turning back and standing still again. Finally, Calum used his one braincell to grab the letter and shove it in the gaurds face. The gaurds eyes flickered from the paper to Calum and back again. The guard sighed and said to god know who "Let him in. Take the horse to teh stables, and give it a good bath.". (This sucks, im dying, sorry. My fingers hurt so bacd right now. 794 words. Pretend that hes in the meeting place, i guess.)

Sylvester Montgomery | Male | Farmer ° White locks flowed about as the gentle cool breeze blew through Sylvester's hair, the sun now rising much higher as the surface of the ground began to warm under his footsteps. Gazing upwards, Sylvester shielded his eyes with his arm as he attempted to the best of his ability to gauge what time it was, following his father's teachings. With a small start, Sylvester's eyes widened as he looked back to the ground, still barely making out the top towers of the castle in the far horizon. A string of whispered curses flowed from his lips as his face curled up into an expression of annoyance and panic, mixed all in one worried gaze as his eyes flicked rapidly between the castle and his feet. ° Lifting one of his legs, Sylvester gripped his shoe, tugging on it to take it off as he hopped around on one foot, the breeze giving another small wisp of coolness as Sylvester lost his balance, fumbling onto the ground. He paused for a moment before pulling his knees up as he took his other shoe off with much more ease, tucking it neatly into the satchel he wore resting at his side. Tying it shut again, Sylvester rose to his feet as his hair gave a violent whip as the breeze around him suddenly changed direction and changed in power, his clothes flicking wildly before the breeze settled. ° Sylvester let out a small breath before he began to jog, each stride of his legs leaving a small wisp of dust behind him, slowly growing thicker as he began to run faster and faster. A brilliant smile spread across his lips as he began to feel weightless, the wind carrying him along with greatly enhanced speed, making him feel as though he could fly. His mana's aura felt cooler around him, like chilled mountain air, sending a refreshing blast of air past him every few seconds, beads of sweat being reduced to nothing as the wind took them away. ° He flinched a little as he sped over a few jagged rocks that were hidden beneath the thick layer of dust upon the gravelly dirt road. Sylvester kept his running pace as the castle drew closer and closer, the towers now in full view as he neared the castles gates. Beginning to slow himself down, the dust behind him began to dissipate, a long thick plume of dust left hanging in the air as it vividly outlined the path he had taken to get there. Sylvester let out a small joy filled half chuckle, exhaling sharply as he straightened out his clothes, patting down his rather ragged and now completely light brown tunic. Small crumbs of dirt tumbled onto the ground as he opened his satchel back up, dropping both his shoes onto the ground as he slipped them back on over his feet before carrying on his way, passing through what appeared to be a large market. The streets lined in colourful merchant stalls, the roads completely covered in people as they bustled about busily, purchasing and selling their items. A few horse drawn carriages trotted past, elegantly dressed woman gently fanning themselves as they cast dirty and disgusted looks in Sylvester's direction. ° With a small nervous smile and wave, Sylvester decided not to linger on their reaction to the sight of him and made his way further down the street. The wind mana he had attained on his way over faded away as the air around him returned to a normal warm temperature, leaving goosebumps over his skin as his body adjusted back to the change. ° Bright flags and brilliant smelling foods tempted Sy as he walked down the street, proving a tough distraction from his main goal and reason for being here in the first place. With a small tsk to himself, he turned and carried on, drowning out the sounds of the many hundreds of people around him as he thought to himself. 'Even if I wanted to. I don't have enough coins for such items.' A gentle expression crossing his face as he softly nodded. He could always come back and look again after the quest was over. ° Within no time, a large wooden door almost the size of the castle walls themselves blocked his way, he tilted his head as he looked it up and down, before looking left and right down the wall as he flagged down a guard. "Hi-! Sorry for bothering you sir. I was just wondering how one might go about... Getting inside?" Sylvester asked with an innocent and excited smile, the guard clearly scanning Sylvester up and down. ° "Let me guess, you'd like for me to also give you the whereabouts of the royals bedrooms or the crown room? Get lost kid." The guard grumbled as his grip tightened around his spear that stood resting on the ground beside him, the weapons blade reflecting the sunshine magnificently and intimidatingly. "Oh.. I. I received a summons here...?" Sylvester stuttered a little taken aback by the treatment he was receiving. The guard glanced back at Sylvester, a skeptical look on his face as he arched an eyebrow questioningly. ° "Yes I know. I feel the same way.. but I do have this..? If it's any.. any uh. Reassurance? I promise I'm not here to rob anyone." Sylvester smiled nervously as he showed his royal letter of summons to the guard whose eyes skimmed over the words. He gave a soft nod as he returned the letter to Sylvester's open and waiting hands, the door beside them giving a great crack as it slowly opened, it's hinges letting out a violent and ear splitting screech as Sylvester took two steps back, his mouth open as his jaw hung in shock. ° "Oh--! Thank you sir!" Sylvester bowed to the man in thanks before heading inside to the castle.

Revna | Female | m: Jackson, Aesira She looked in bewilderment as his hands danced with friends. She rolled her eyes and mocked him, "You big baby. I gave it back.. Next time I will break it, love." She shook her head at the young male. She narrowed her eyes and spoke, "Nice to meet you Jackson... And I get what I want one way or another.." She took her horses reigns ready to leave thinking of his fire powers that warmed her face making her forehead give a little damp. She wiped it off with the sleeve of her cloak. She casted a look as he looked behind her at the female. SHe saw a young female and she said, "Oh look. More the merrier." She was hesitate of the female lurker as she was just spying on Jackson and her ineraction. She calls out to her, "I'm guessing you're apart of this thing or whatever it was called? Well you two lovely children may speak to another. I'm leaving as I'm guessing I'm late than I wanted to be. See ya folks later" She huffs in annoyance in her tardiness and she smacked her reigns on the horse and swift soft kick for her horse to push off the ground quickly. She ripped off to the castle with out another fuss to be heard from the other two. (Told y'all it would be short. I have been busy)

Jackson J. Spears l Male l Soldier l M: Revna, Aesira . Jackson nodded at Revna's response, and turned his gaze towards the female behind them, looking her up and down with curiousity. What quest were they going on, which required this many people? It had to be dangerous, one where they needed extreme numbers. Dragons? Giants? Other creatures? And for what, probably some long lost gem that holds powers or something stupid. He was suprised when the younger female next to him kicked her horse into a fast gallop, clearly going towards the castle. Was it something he said? If they were on this quest together, why didnt she just stick around with them. He shook his head, and ran his fingers through his very short hair, still remembering the suggestion of Revna's. Maybe he should grow it out. He was down to one loaf of bread, as he'd given the other to Revna, who just put it in her sack and left. Jackson reached behind him and pulled out yhe small box of sugar cubes. Opening the delicate lid and picking a piece out, and gave it to Reckless. His horse gobbled it up hungrily. Then gave out a snort. "What?" Jackson asked, a comidic tone in his voice, "Did you think I forgot about you?" He took his right hand and gently stroked his mane, his hand sliding down to his neck, before putting the lid back on the sugar cubes, and placing it back in his satchel, clamping the latches together. He sighed, before grabbing the leathery reins, and turned Reckless backwards, and kicked his foot slightly against Reckless's side, easing his horse into a steady trot, until he reached the girls side. "You dont have telekinesis powers do you?" He asked, a comidic grin on his face, before turning to business. "My name's Jackson and that was Revna, the girl who just took off." He said, letting the information sink in. Before saying, "We should probably get to the castle, and quick according to Revna." His fave broke out into another grin, before he turned Reckless around again. He kicked Reckless's side again, a bit harder then last time, the Reckless broke into a speedy gallop, his hooves thndering across the landscape, and with Jackson on his back, and hopefully that other girl vlose behind, he made his way to the castle, hoping to get there in time, for whatever quest lay before him.

Sylvester Montgomery | Male | Farmer | M: Open Hallways began to blend into one in the back of Sy's mind, each corridor looking more or less the same as the one before and the one before that one. His mouth hung partially open as he gaped in awe at the magnificent castle decor, twirling vines of ivy and potted shrubbery that brought a well needed dash of colour to the otherwise bright marble and cobble. Portraits hung on the walls, their eyes seeming to trail after him as he passed by. Suddenly conscious of his goldfish gaping he shut his mouth, quickening his steps as he caught up to the castle escort. ° The wall was long and awkward, an uneasy silence settling over the two although the escort seemed particularly unphased by this. Double wooden doors loomed ahead, two guards positioned on either sides of it as they dipped their head to the passing two, opening the door in the escorts wake. "This way please." The girl was young, seeming to barely be outside of her teen years as her hair was upkept in a tidy ponytail that held her brunette hair from her face. Her eyes were a striking sea green colour that seemed to hold the shores themselves within. Sylvester nodded as he trailed after her, giving small nervous waves to the guards as he passed by them, still dressed in his tunic and other wears from home. ° Red began to tint his cheeks as he ran his hand absentmindedly through his hair in an attempt to sooth his nerves. 'God I've never felt more out of place in my life..!' His thoughts were cut short from his near rambling as he felt the urge to continue it fade, his gaze fixed on the escort who had now come to a halt at a rather elegant space, wooden benches lay gathered around an indoor fountain, the middle piece made up entirely of the snaking body of a dragon, water pouring from its open jaws as it's claws remained flayed, as if caught mid strike. ° "Please wait here. I will fetch you once the others arrive." The escort spoke softly, her voice alone could've put him to sleep as it held a sort of melodic tone. Without waiting for a response, she turned and left the space, disappearing from view around a corner, leaving Sylvester alone in the garden area with no one but himself and his thoughts. ° His shadow stretched along the water's surface as he took a seat on the edge of the fountain, idly dipping his fingers into the surprisingly warm water, watching as it rippled and lapped at his fingers. 'This most definitely is going to be a long day..' Sylvester thought to himself as a long breathy sigh flowed from his lips, his eyes fluttering shut as he focused all his attention and senses to the sensation and sounds of the fountain. ° It was peaceful here, calm. Minus the few bustling servants who seemed in a rush as they navigated the corridors beyond the room, their footsteps echoing as it bounced from the castle walls. He had lost count of just how many hallways and rooms he and the escort had passed on the way here, a bit disappointed that despite travelling a ways distance from his fathers farm he now had to idly standby and wait for the others involved on this quest to arrive. He pondered about them, wondering where they may be arriving from, what looks they carried about them, and even what kind of abilities they might possess. The ideas kept coming as he thought up some serious and some rather entertaining ideas as he passed the time, a small smile flickering across his lips every now and then at some funny thought he came up with. ° (surprised how long this looks considering I'm writing while I'm at work on break lmfao--) Edited at March 1, 2024 05:06 PM by Tonneoshet

Aesira Arden | Female | Blacksmith | M: Jackson Aesira only caught a few words from their conversation, watching as he spoke to his horse. She was slightly surprised when the man turned around and spoke to her. "No." She said tightly as she kept riding, focusing on the road ahead. Aesira nodded, storing the information away for later. "I'm Aesira." She said quietly, stroking Wren's neck. Aesira only nodded again. Don't go making friends this soon. No need to get attached to anybody. She watched as he rode ahead of her, running his hands through his short hair. She urged Wren into a gallop, breezing past the boy. The castle gates were just in view, and Wren skidded to a stop, one of the guards raising his weapon. Aesira pulled out the letter and wordlessly showed it too him. The guard nodded and opened the gates. "An escort should be waiting for you." He said, his voice bored. Aesora nodded and nudged Wren into a walk. The sight inside of the castle walls was one of the most beautiful things she had ever seen, but she didn't let it show as a young girl, younger than herself stepped forward. Jackson J. Spears l Male l Solider l M: Aesira . He nodded as she told her name, storing the information in his mind for later. She seemed to be in a hurry, even though they were most likely going to the same place. Oh well, he thought, and kicked Reckless a little harder, and they rode at a canter towards the castle. Aesira seemed to have already entered, but two guards awaited at the entrance. One tall, thicked built and bearded man stood on the left, while a shorter Male, with long flowing blond hair stood to the right of the gate. Both carrying Spears and Shields of what looked to be bronze or gold. Jackson eased Reckless into a walk as he approached the guards. They immediately raised their Spears and pointed them at Jackson's chest. "Why have you come?" The taller one answered, his brown eyes staring Jackson down. Jackson threw his hands up in mock surrender, saying: "The King has summoned me here." Then proceeded to pull out the letter sent to him, unraveling it to show the burgundy seal at the end. The guards looked to one another, then moved their Spears out, and let him past. Jackson rolled the letter up and put it in his pocket, then eased Reckless into the castle walls. Banisters showing the Kings symbol loomed on all sides, taking Jackson by surprise. Bronze and gold sculptures of lions and eagles sat next to every window, the castles grey brick walls beautiful in the mornings light. Jackson was met by a young blonde headed girl, wearing a green dress and wearing brown sandals, he guessed the usual for the King's servants. "Are you here for the Quest?" She asked, walking up and stroking Reckless's neck, who neighed in response to her touch. Jackson simply nodded, and threw the servant Reckless 's reigns, as she guided them towards a larger room, where he assumed he would meet the King, and their Quest would begin.
