Selene | Female | Red Fox | M: Ace, Night, Wander I back away from them, giving them space. I walk over to Wander. "blackcough..." I whisper, barely able to speak. I wasn't sure if I was talking to her or just realising it myself. "he'll be fine. he'll be fine. he won't die. he's strong. he can survive this. he has night. he won't leave the pups. he's fine. he's fine..." I continued muttering comforting things to myself. I probably looked insane but I needed to distract myself from freezing in terror. Wander... "Hello" I managed to mutter, stuttering as I spoke "Nice rabbit. Looks very dead" What am I even saying? "I mean-" I gave up and sighed, looking back at Ace with concern, tears in my eyes. |

I grab it and find herbs inside. I thrust it at Night. "I think this should help? I don't know! Ace had it on him!" I say, frantically. "Hang in there, my love" I whisper to him. "Wander, calm down. It's blackcough. Take the pups outside please" I tell her, "I don't want them to see this" I gesture at Ace. |

I looked back at the herbs in Ace's bag and I recognised them suddenly. Goldenrod? I can't believe I didn't recognise it sooner. "Night! Is this what I think it is?" I ask her, excited. I then my attention back to Ace. We needed to help as soon as possible! |
