Ajihad had paused in his feeding, because Indigo had stated that she was infertile so loudly. He was embaressed that he had overheard, but she hadn't been quiet. He wondered if she should be Chaos' mate, since she couldn't have children. Anyway she couldn't expect Chaos to stay loyal to only to her. It was expected for him to have multiple children.

Ajihad observed Nanook come talk to Astrid. He wondered if they would become mates. He assumed so, because there was no one else so perfect for each other. Ajihad had come to the decision that they needed to leave soon. He would prefer to leave on a day that had a good feeding, so they would have a little time just in case they didn't catch anything. He believed that at least Astrid would be acommpanying them, and from the conversation Astrid was having with Nanook, Nanook was probably coming with them.

She wandered back towards the others, her expression from somewhat lost to dominant and strong. She was trying her best to hide her emotions. Emotions... They made you weak. Relationships they made you weaker. That is how she and katelego had always survived on their own. It wasn't long before she appeared next to chaos, just as nyasi and ivy disappeared. Something was off about ivy but she shook off the odd feeling. Her eyes wandered towards Chaos' and she sighed. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have left, its just I feel cursed" a sigh escape dher lips as she looked towards the Cubs that approached the carcass "I know it's possible to have Cubs because my mother, before she died, knew of a lioness like me" she turned her head back towards Chaos and made eye contact once more. "she had many miscarriages and still births but it is possible" she frowned, grimacing lightly at the thought of those tragedies.

Chaos gently nuzzled her apologetically, "I'm sorry. I didn't know. I'm sure you could have cubs eventually, but it sounds like there is a heavy price to pay. Are you willing to pay it?" He knew he was being really straight forward, but he had to know. He needed a mate that was able to have cubs. He wanted to continue is line. He knew he had Ajihad, but more was better. He wasn't sure if they should be mates anymore. He didn't think Indigo would be the type of mate that would allow her mate to have mistresses. He began casting his eye over his lionesses. He would continue to let Indigo be the dominant lioness, but that didn't mean she had to be his mate. Would he have to choose someone else?

Ajihad decided to go on a patrol around the border. Maybe he would cross into nomad territory, and see if he could find a decent prideland to occupy. He immediately set off. He made sure to let Amara see him go in case she needed to talk to him. He began to run, and enjoy the feeling of being alive. He paused at the border. He was far away from Karaz pridelands. This was where the nomad land was. He didn't smell any nomad's occupying this part of the territory. He cautiously set out.

She turned away and sighed looking at rhe Cubs once more. "happiness always has a price" she turned back towards Chaos "and if it means I get to have Cubs with you I'm willing to pay it" she smiled and locked his cheek affectionately.

Chaos kept his thoughts to himself. He would try to be a good mate to her. Maybe they would be able to have cubs, and he wouldn't have to go to such drastic measures. He rubbed his head alongside her neck, "I hope its worth it," he whispered. He decided to change the subject, "I heard that the hunting party weren't able to catch anything. Do you think they should go out again later?"

Her ears perked and a slight blush covered her cheeks as he rubbed his head on her neck. "it will be" she nuzzled his cheek once more. She listened to his words and nodded her head "ill get the liomess' on a midnight hunt" she spoke softly. "Chaos I'm sorry I only just told you, I should have told you the full truth when I joined" she whispered in a hushed voice. A worried thought hit her mind. "have you seen katelego?"

Amara heard Chaos mentioning hunting again and lowered herself. She wasnt sure it would be a good idea for her to try again. She cramped up already with the last hunt which she felt is what caused them to fail. She slowly made her way to the camp and went into the den she made herself. She wondered how long Ajihad would be out.

Chaos didn't blame her for not telling him, but that was an important detail. "It didn't do any harm," he reassured her. When she asked where Katelego was, he had to pause and think. "I don't remember seeing Katelgo since you were going to challenge Chandra," he said. Even though he generally let the lionesses go off by themselves, unless he knew they were pregnant, he preferred that they come to the den to sleep. He liked to know where his pride mates were.

The male stuck his tongue out and chuckled. "That sounds like loser talk." He flicked his tail playfully and looked at the female with a flirty smirk.

Nagasi

The female growled as she watched Indigo, she was sick of her whining and complaining. They all had problems so she needed to get over it. The lioness walked over to Tara and licked the cubs head. "Don't mess with your claw, darling. You'll only make it worse." Her fur raised in annoyance as she noticed Chaos and indigo. "You kill our queen and then act like you can just take her mate..." She mumbled in anger.
