Chaos let his legs buckle. He toppled over and grabbed her with his paws. He was on his back, so he could now paw her with his paws. He let out a roar of indignation. He cast an axious glance the cubs way, but they were still fine. Some of the lionesses were beginning to gether around, so he focused on beating Indigo at this wrestling match.

Ajihad/Chaos Pride

Ajihad looked at her quizically. Why was she covered in mud? He could see the fear in her eyes. "Where do you want to go to talk? What's going on? Why are you covered in mud?" he asked. He kept closer to her looking around making sure that no one was near. The lionesses appeared to be dispersing.

Amara took a deep breath before she spoke quietly. "I'm excited Ajihad. Your Cubs." She nuzzled him, hoping he wasn't upset that she was expecting. She knew they wouldn't be able to hide it for long and she worried what Chaos would say if he found out.

Ajihad looked at her his eyes full of surprise. He backed away. "What?!" he whispered in disbelief. "How?!" His face changed to a more pleasant facial expression of excitement, "I'm going ot be a father?" Then it changed to fear, "You were afraid of Chaos weren't you?" His father tended to be merciful, but sometimes he was unforgiving. Ajihad wasn't sure what would happen. "I'm sorry Amara. I've ruined things for you. I don't know what we should do."

Amara shook her head. "Ajihad, you didn't ruin anything for me. I couldn't be more excited. I'm just not sure what Chaos would think. I don't want him to think you are trying to take over the pride starting with me" she said. Her blue eyes showed that she was excited to have his Cubs, but nervous wondering what Chaos would say.

Ajihad gave a nervous smile. "I guess we're mates now," he sort of said hoping for confirmation. He decided to put his question bluntly, "If I'm going to get kicked out, will you come with me?" He really wanted to know the answer. He knew that her family was here in Chaos pride, including her sister.

Amara blushed when Ajihad call them mates. "Of course I would follow you" she said. "Even if I wasn't expecting I would follow." She nuzzled him happily before she licked his cheek. She felt happy to be even near him. "And I am happy to be your mate" she said, almost purring like.

Ajihad smiled, and nuzzled her. "I'm glad you're my mate. Some might not follow." He didn't want to mention it, but it was somthing worth thinking about, "If we are kicked out, I think we should start our own pride. Who would you want to bring with us?" He looked at her anxiously. "Wait. We better go join a group just in case someone starts wondering."

Amara thought for a moment. "What about Nanook and Astrid" she asked before she agreed. They needed to find the group before they noticed they were gone for a while. Her blue eyes watched Ajihad as she kept close to him. She wondered if it really mattered now if anyone knew she was expecting or if they were mates.

Ajihad asked her while they were looking for a group, "Do you think we should announce it or let them find out when they will?" he asked. "I don't think mud will work very well to hide your scent. Do you have anything else that might work?" he inquired. They were nearing the watering hole, and he heard loud raucous noises. "Sounds like they're having fun," he commented with a grin.

Amara sighed a bit. "I'm not sure what else will work other than dung and j would rather not smell that badly" she said. "As for the others, I'm sure they will figure it out. Thanks to that new Lioness Astrid knows. I had to chew the newbies head off when she asked." She shook her head. "I was more harsh than needed, but I didn't want anyone else knowing before you."
