He waved to Astrid as she went to hunt and sighed lightly. What to do while he waited for her return? He began padding off slowly towards the watering hole. Once there he lapped at the cool wayer, enjoying the fresh cool taste as it trickled down his throat. Once done he walked into the water a small ways until it was to his ankles and then proceeded to lay down, enjoying cooling off in the hot afternoon of the day.

Nyasi nervously walked around the camp. He felt very lonely without his mom. What if somebody will get him at any moment? Then he noticed a female with a mane and a female cub walking towards the water hole.

He took a deep breath and padded towards them.

'Hi there! I am Nyasi. Where are both of you going?'. Then he looked at the female cub.

'And what is your name?', he added, a bit anxious for some reason (hmmm)

Ivy padded beside the lionesses in silence. She liked the idea of hunting a wildebeest. Last time she ate one was 6 months ago, and that was pure luck.

She glanced at Amara. There was something off with her. It seemed she was nervous. She spotted how Amara looked over at another lion in the distance and looked away. Ivy looked at the lion. It was that same lion that was pretty rude with her. Was he rude with this lioness as well. No, it didn't seem like the lioness was scared of him.

Ivy gave a sly sniff at Amara. Oh geez. Ivy recognises that scent. Ivy anxiously looked at Nagasi in front of her. Something told her to be quiet about this.

She nudged the Amara and whispered, 'You know you are pregnant, right? You are not supposed to hunt!'

Siku lazily glanced around. Then he spotted a pack of mongooses. He smiled slyly and slinked off from the group. He watched the mongooses bright eyed and stalked after them. One in particular was very close to him, and obviously deaf it seemed. He swiped it with his good paw and pinned it. Siku made a commotion in the pack of mongooses, but ignored them and trotted back to Ukuta with a writhing mongoose in his mouth.

Once he was close enough he bounded in front of Ukuta and let the crazed animal at her. Ukuta shrieked and swiped blindly at the animal. Siku collapsed in peals of laughter.

Ukuta snarled after the mongoose ran away and swiped her paw at Siku, who dodged easily and continued laughing.

Amara growled at Ivy. "Back off. Dont you know its not nice to assume others are expecting. Who do you think you are" she asked rather coldly. She hadnt been introduced to the new lioness yet, and already she didnt like the way she was speaking to her. *If she knows, she might tell the others, I cant let that happen* she thought.
