Siku / Siku nuzzled Aria back, then again looked at Yael. "Ready to catch some imposters?", he joked. He nodded a greeting at Chaos. / Ivy / Ivy heard Aria mention that Nyasi will be going on a border patrol, and was worried at first. She is reluctant in giving her son to lions from another pride. Even though it feels like months that they are merged together, it is after all just a day. She was relieved to see Chaos join the patrol group. "Nyasi, get up", she called her son, puching him, "You are going for a patrol". Nyasi sat up, and yawned widely. "Do I have to?", he asked tiredly. "Yes", Ivy said sternly, "Now run along". Nyasi groaned, but still padded towards the group, nudging Yael as he joined the group.

Lilacia watched as the lioness wandered off and hid knce more. This would take a while. Lilacia did hope to somewhat befriend tara, even if it took a while. Flicking her tail she turned on her heel and made her way in the opposing direction, heading towards an open ledge inside the cave, and observing the lands before her. She didnt know where jasari had wandered of too but hoped she'd see him soon, she did feel rather lonely, seeing as she never befriended many from the pride.

Siku / "Well, looks like all of us are ready", Siku announced, nodding at approaching Nyasi, "Off we go". He exited the cave, leading the lions far from the cave. "Chaos and Echo, I suggest that both of you go left. It is usually safer on that side and Echo could learn some basics of border patrolling. Midnight and Nyasi, go right, but be more cautious as there are usually nomads coming from that side. Me and Yael shall proceed forwards, I will be also teaching him some things", Siku ordered, "Any questions? Or refusal?" / Jasiri / "Morning!", Jasiri purred, as he bumped his head into Lilacia's shoulder, "Hope you had a nice first sleep in this pack!" Jasiri felt way happier than before. It feels like he finally learned to breath and feels more free and confident.

Echo looked up at Siku. "Wouldnt it be better to stick together" he asked a little nervously. "Especially if there are mean nomads? I cant help if someone, or more, attacks Chaos" he said as she looked down. He hadnt really had any training with fights, and he didnt want anyone hurt because of it. / Aslan didnt wonder too far from the cave as he looked over, seeing Aria lead the hunting patrol out towards the best hunting grounds. Aria looked back at the lionesses. "Be ready" she said. "I know we still have some food left at the cave, but we still need more." / Zypher made his way back towards Zamri and his nephews. He shook out his mane, and grew rather confused to see a strange coated lioness and walked over. "Brother, who is this" he asked as he saw Reyla lower herself seeing him. *Very young* Zypher thought. Siku / "The wind should be blowing at you at all times, so Chaos will have no problem in smelling out a nomad, even though there shouldn't be one", Siku assured Echo, then looked up at Chaos, "Make sure to back away if you do smell anything suspicious and report it straight to me or other leaders if you meet them by any chance". / Ukuta yawned and shook her head crankily. "If we are hunting for training, then we should just go towards some tree and let the lions jump at the branches", she said, "I can't say I am looking forwards to attracting hyenas (or worse) towards our cave".

A scraggy, tan furred male ran through the yellow grass. His breathing became more ragged, but he is used to running anyway. After a while, he finally approached his coalition, who were resting at their temporary camp under a dry baobab tree. The male slowed down, but still kept his pace up, which caused him to step on several lions' tails that earned him insults. Finally, he stopped beside another lion, who was drinking up the last of the muddy water out of the shallow pool nearby. "Geday!", the tired lion panted, grinning. Geday stopped drinking, and looked up at the panting lion with annoyance. He stood up, his heavy black mane weighing down on his head. "Whatever you need, Aremi?", he asked, a growl faintly heard behind his words. Aremi remembered that Geday is the leader and lowered his ears and body. "There is a pride nearby", he started. "And?", Geday asked, his light amber eyes glinting dangerously. "W-well you see, it is no ordinary pride", Aremi stammered as he looked down, "It is a VERY big pride. With lots of lionesses". Aremi dared to once again lift his brown eyes at his leader, and was relieved to see him deep in thought. That is a good sign. "How is their territory?", Geday asked. "Enormous!", Aremi gasped, "I watched their lions border patrol, and I'll have to say it is excpetional. Plenty of prey and water". A short silence was shared between them, and Aremi started to feel jumpy. "I will send you with some other lions right now", Geday finally said, "I want to see their reactions. Perhaps your small brain is over exagerrating things again". "I swear it isn't!", Aremi defended himself, but was momentarily silenced by Geday as he stood over the lion with a deep snarl. Aremi squeezed his eyes shut, embracing for painful impact, but was relieved as Geday stepped away from him. "Get ready to leave soon", Geday told him, "That territory could be the future of this coalition". (I will be discussing this more in discussion chat and if all will be well, I may add these (and maybe more) characters into sign ups)

Chaos nodded. He was a little surprised that Siku was letting them go off like this after Amara said that they had to go in adult pairs, but it seemed okay. He had no problem with it. He flicked his tail for Echo to follow him. Every now and then he would stop and ask Echo what he smelled. When they made it to the border he showed him how to mark it. He stayed alert and let Echo do most of the marks. It would be good practice. Somewhere nearby he could smell a lioness. At first he thought it was a pride lioness, because it had a familiar scent. He became worried when he realized that it was someone else. It was someone he didn't think he would see again. Zamri shivered, "Zypher, you would never believe what happened. Some lioness met me. I guess we knew each other, and she was almost determined to follow me. She said she wanted to be a mother to my cubs," he gave a pained look. He looked over at Reyla. "She's some nomad. I've been letting her follow us. I wasn't sure what to do with her," he shrugged. He was glad that his brother was here.

Echo looked up at Chaos as he followed him. "Nomad" he asked. The young male wondered if they needed to chase them off. (short) / Zypher rolled his eyes. "The cubs aren't nursing. They don't need a mother. What lioness would say that when it's obvious they are alive without one" he asked before he looked at Reyla again. "Well, she seems to be a little skittish. You sure it's a good idea to still have her here?"

Siku / Siku walked up to the border line. "Well, Yael, after some time you will be the king of these lands", Siku told the cub, pride clear in his voice, "As king, you need to learn to distinguish your friends from enemies. We shall practice with your smell". Siku took a deep sniff, interpreting the smell, and with a smile lifted his head up. "Smell the ground like I did", he encouraged him, "And try to tell me as much as you can of what you smelled". / Nyasi / Nyasi followed Midnight, slightly nervous. He remembered that Amara said for everybody to be in adult pairs. Not like he is scared for himself. He could defend himself! He is more worried about the others. He reminded himself that Siku has said to retreat if any intruders are noticed and turned to Midnight. "Are we going to retreat if we notice a trespasser?", Nyasi asked, a hint of hope for a fight in his voice. Even though Midnight was from the opposing pride, Nyasi couldn't help but like him. Just like his mother, he was a nomad and raised his child despite the harsh circumstances of being prideless. Edited at August 2, 2020 05:06 PM by Heather pack

Constance & Adaliya The ebony lioness looked at her daughter who was watching a meerkat. The little creamy cub attempted to pounce on the creature and the little thing ran off. Adaliya gave chase digging her claws into the earth jetting off, but she was too slow and the meerkat scampered off. Constance held a look of bemusement in her green optics, but then they turned serious as she began smelling masculine scents. One was familiar and her eyes widened at the approaching figures.
Clear rage displayed on her features as she nearly stormed up quite boldly to the males. She gave the younger one a quick look over, before ignoring him to look directly at Chaos. Her ears were pinned and face was pulled into a scowl. "You...you...you" she clearly yelled enraged "M-Mama...?" her cub called following her and hiding under Constance's legs at the sight of the males. "Hello, Chaos" she spat bitterly at the male . Her words were sharp, but her eyes reflected hurt and pain, " you abandoned her. No,no you abandoned me. Tell me why I shouldn't claw your eyes out. Huh? Huh!?! And it better be a darn well good one "and she looked at their cub as if telling him she was his daughter and she flexed her claws impatiently She didn't care she was trespassing. She was furious with Chaos and she was about to let him know it.
