Shani Shani's eyes popped open when she heard a familiar voice. It was Astrid. "Yes, things did get pretty hectic yesterday, didn't it? I am kind of glad in way that Zamri was sent away. I'm not quite over being mad at him for falling in love with that other lioness and conceiving the two cubs. It would be dreadfully awkward to have him here. Especially since I feel like I barely knew the true Zamri. I must admit, he was quite the charmer," she said softly. She looked over at the others waking up and rose to her own feet. She groomed her ears and forepaws waiting for what everyone else would decide to do for the day.

Margo/Kobe Margo lay on her side next to her sweet, sleeping cub, Kobe. He slept so peacefully and looked like an angel in the eyes of his loving mother. She licked his little head and purred, remembering her baby's sire. Callan would have been such an amazing father. She sighed heavily and wondered once more why he had had to be bitten by that cobra. He had been protecting her and her yet unborn cub. He had killed that snake with his last breath. ~ Shaking her head as if to rid herself of those past memories, she glanced around and saw the others awaking to greet the morning. She hoped Kobe would get over his insecurities and try to make some friends today. She didn't want to push him too much, but still...he needed to be socialized, he couldn't be glued to her side for the rest of his life. She smiled and nuzzled him as he awoke and pressed closer to her. He was so sweet.

Aslan looked up as he stirrer, seeing Khaleesi. "I'm alright" he yawned. "Just trying to avoid any more issues. I don't want to risk getting kicked out" he said as he stood up. "Amara had a right to be angry. There shouldn't have been a fight within the pride" he said before he shook out his mane. / Midnight lifted his head as he heard others getting up. He sighed before he looked at Fae who was still sleeping. He looked over and saw Tara starting to stir. *Seems like all the cubs are tired* he thought before he saw Yael. *Maybe not all.* / Aria stretched out as she slowly started to open her eyes. "Yael? Where are you" she asked calmly. She slowly sat up before she saw him and smiled. "Do you want to go on patrol with some of the other males today" she asked him. She knew he was still young, but she figured it would be a good way for him to stretch his legs. She glanced around before she sighed. "I'll lead a hunting patrol. Whoever wants to go, speak up or I'll pick for you" she said looking around. / Reyla looked confused as the young cub hid behind her. "I really don't think I should hide you. Your father might get mad and chase me off. I really don't want to upset him" she said as she stood up and took a step back, lowering her head.

Khaleesi lay down beside him, "That may be true that she had a right to be mad, but it wasn't your fault. You aren't the one who encouraged us or made us fight each other," she pointed out. "Do you think you'll go patroling today? It might be fun if we get to go hunting or something together," she suggested. She remembered that Amara had said everyone was going out in pairs. Khaleesi sat up, "I can go if no one else does." Astrid could understand why she was upset. She had heard that she had said she was going to go with him, and that had upset her. That lion had obviously moved on. There was no reason for Shani to try to follow him. She smiled at Shani, "Some lions are like that. Want to go with the hunting patrol?" She headed over to Aria. "I can hunt." Yael's eyes widened. After the newest order that everyone had to go out in pairs, he hadn't expected such an offer. "Yes!" his voice was very excited, "I would love to go." Would Nyasi go? He was older. "Who is patrolling?" he cocked his head curious. It would be great to go out with Siku or perhaps Midnight. Arridi said, "If you listen to me, I bet I can keep us both out of trouble. Tell him that I came up to you, and find some way to keep him from getting mad at me," he stayed hidden on the opposite side away from Zamri. "He won't get mad, because he'll blame me, but he might not punish me in front of you, so you have to stay around." Zamri wondered what had happened to his coalition. He was supposed to catch up with them. If Reyla stayed with him, it might become the beginnings of a pride.

Shani Shani was glad that Astrid was making an effort to make her feel accepted. That meant alot to Shani; she needed all the friends she could get right now. She rose and stood by Astrid. "Let's go, what are you waiting for?" She playfully nudged Astrid and jogged to the mouth of the cave. She paused and looked back at Astrid, waiting for the lioness to follow her.

Aria nodded. "Of course. Midnight will go as well" she said before she looked to Ajihad. "Anyone else you can think of for patrol" she asked. "I need to head out for hunting, and I am thinking of taking Amber as well" she said as she looked around at the pride. She looked to the camp entrance and saw Amara coming back. / Aslan looked at Khaleesi. "I might gather more moss if possible, but it might be best for me to stay near camp to keep Amara from thinking I'm causing trouble" he said as he nuzzled the lioness. "You're more than welcome to join me though." He smiled before he looked back towards the cave. / Reyla looked hesitant before she spoke. "H-he's over here Zamri" she said. "He came over here thinking it was alright, not too far, to be able to look around and scout" she said as she kept her head lowered. Her ears were lowered in fear she would be chased off, especially seeing Kuro wake up and getting out of Zamri's mane.

Ivy / Ivy opened her amber eyes, and yawned widely. She looked around, and saw Nyasi sleeping close by, but not too close. She smiled sadly. She remembers how he always would cuddle into her stomach, but now as he grew up more, he does not want to cuddle too much now. She sighed and looked over at Chaos. He seems to get over the shock from yesterday's news, but she can't be sure. She looked away before he noticed her looking at him. Her ears perked up as Aria asked if anybody would like to go for a patrol. Nah, she better save her energy for hunti- . She made a noise of annoyance as she saw the corpses of the zebras. Never would she have known that she would be annoyed at food! / Jasiri / Jasiri tried to shut out the dawning light that started to spill into the cave, but as he remembered that Lilacia got accepted into the pride, he opened his green eyes with excitement. He lifted his head, and grinned seeing Lilacia beside him. So it was not a dream: she is back! "I might go for a patrol later", he called out to Aria. He wants to show his long-missed mate around the cave and surroundings close to the cave. / Ukuta / Ukuta stood up, and walked towards the drinking hole. She lapped up the cool water, and looked towards Aria. "I might join you", she said, "Unless there won't be enough lions here to guard the cave". / Siku / Siku shook his mane, and looked down at Yael's excited face. "I can go on a patrol, if what", he said. (short)

Aria nuzzled Siku. "Chaos can go as well. That should be enough for that with Yael and Nyasi" she said before she looked at Ukuta. "You can join the hunt" she replied. "We still have plenty here" she said before she started padding out of the cave. "Hunting patrol, let's go. Border patrol, go with Siku" she said as she watched the called lions get ready for the day.

Astrid didn't follow Shani, because she was following Aria. Khaleesi had to leave Aslan, because she was hunting also. After a moment she decided to stay. Not many of them gathered moss, and she felt like it would be needed. "I'm going to help gather moss," she told Aria before she headed to Aslan hoping that wouldn't be a problem. They had it so that volunteers would go, so it shouldn't be a problem right? Chaos spilled his cubs off of him. He wasn't sure what was happening with Echo, since Nyasi and Yael were coming. He headed over to Siku to get ready for the hunt. Ajihad was just sort of sitting there. He couldn't remember who should go. He supposed he would stay here, so there would be one dominant in camp, and someone to watch over the remaining young ones. Yael bounded over to join the patrol. He couldn't believe that he was allowed to go. Zamri sighed when Reyla found him. His cubs was crazy, and he wasn't sure what to do about that. Since he felt Kuro waking up, he decided that he could be louder. "Arridi, get over here you little coward," he commanded his son. Arridi peeked around Reyla, "uh oh. I don't think it worked." His father had called him a coward which might mean that he was even in more trouble. He edged over toward his father. "What did you think you were doing? You could have gotten hurt or someone else could have hurt you. Please don't hide from me like that," he sighed.

Just gonna reuse this here ^_^ -Spellbound said: Constance scanned the horizon her emerald optics hard as she stared at the world. She sighed as she looked at her leucistic daughter who bounded besides her, and the lioness scowled at her daughter's antics. Adaliyah pinned her ears as she saw her mother's stern gaze. They were on unknown territory, probably another Pride's domain as the scents were old but still held a tinge of freshness. She certainly did not want to face a Pride right now with a cub by her side. The cursed the lion that had made her conceive their love child, Chaos. He wasn't even their to help her raise her daughter if she ever saw him again she would give him a piece of her mind. She had heard of a pride that merged and wondered how far they were from them. Hopefully far off she thought as her ebony pelt was hit by the sun. -------- The pale male meandered along a border. He curiously looked across the horizon. His pale blue optics took in the land with boredom. He was alone and had no company. Maybe that area held a lioness he could talk to? Possibly be infatuated with and have a mate? It would be very interesting but for now he was content being under his little shade tree.
