One of the girls chuckled " hey coach... dont you think that player over there is hot?" She asked

" Gosh damn it, Laura... focus. If we have any chance to win this years championship, all of you girls need to focus! Boys do not matter. Ever!. Lift your legs higher Emma. There you go."

She then walked over to Bree " I do think he's hot... but im not going for him... I have more imortant things to worry about." she chuckled. " Like you girls and homework."

She then worked on doing her excersis. Glancing over at Duke every now and then shit.... she thought as she turned awawy when she saw him glansing at her

" Come on, girls. Get your acts together!""

Duke turned and saw Iris looking at him, he went over to justin "that's the girl I was talking about earlier" Justin turned around and looked at Iris than turned again looking at Duke and he said " Duke if you ain't gonna hit that ass and sleep with her I might as well try myself " and justin laughed. Duke replied saying " She's mine brother don't even think about it" and every now and then duke looked over at Iris

Iris was doing some excersises with the girls when she growled " you girls keep stretching... Imma be right.. back.. Bree.. your the boss til I come back"

" yes Ma'am" Bree said taking her spot up front as Iris ran all the way across the field where the football players were. Then walked the last hundred feet " The fuck is your problem?" she said " What you doin on my field. I specifially asked the head of school to let me have the field today "

Duke walked towards Iris and went face to face with her his nose almost touching her's and said " Listen whatch you re doing next saturday after the game? " and kept looking straight in her eyes. The boys all starring at him. Duke was hoping that after the game he would go pick her up and go to justin's party together. But duke knew this girl was going to be difficult to get in her pants

"Im free... er.. no im not actually. I heavily study on the weekends. So whatever you plan on doing with your boys... have at it.. but you are not taking me. " she glared at him before slightly stepping back " I dont drink by the way." her heart was racing. She then handed him a piece of paper. " Heres my number though.. I'll text you if im ever free"

She then turned around and began walking back to her group.

duke took the paper and continued training. He went to his car that was in school's parking lot. He sat there not wanting to go home to face his dad again. Duke's dad is junkie. He sat in his car going through his phone and waiting for time to pass so that when he goes home his dad would be asleep.

After school, Iris went to her locker to grab her books, but she then saw Justin pass by her " Hey.. Justin, right? Did that ass friend of yours just ask me out to a party or was I just....dreaming?"

She grabbed ehr phone and texted her mother that she would be home in half hour.

She then looked back up " Tell him I'll think about it... it isnt a yes and it isnt a no. Its a maybe."

Duke started the car and drove home listening to 2pac, he was his favorite rapper. He parked the car and opened the door of his house. His dad was asleep, duke said to himself "Finally some peace". He went in to take a shower, he wore his boxershorts and laid on his bed. "Why can't I stop thinking about this goddamn girl" he wanted to text her so bad but he wasn't gonna fall that easily. As he was falling asleep his phone rang it was justin.

(DUKE) : "What's up brother

(JUSTIN) : " Listen bro that girl iris is considering coming to my party she stopped me and told me"

(DUKE) : "I hope she comes bud, listen I m gonna sleep mate cyu tomorrow.

(JUSTIN) : "Cyu bro"

Iris finally got home an hour later " Im back mother. Sorry im a tad late.. had a little thing with a guy from school." she said putting her keys down and eade dup the stairs to her bedroom to study for the math test sue in two days.

She got some light gentle music going in the background and opened to page ten in her math book. But she just couldnt keep her mind off of the Football capatin that bay " Damn it... I cant keep going on like this.. but I promised mother I would study hard so I could get into college. Boys were a problem in my past... This is no different. But I wont let him at me."

She set her pone beside her, but on silent and started to work til food was set up.

Duke couldn't sleep now knowing Iris was considering going to the party. He got out of his bed, wore a nike track suit and went in his car. He took out his phone and called Iris, while waiting for her to respond he was going to tell her to go and pick her up maybe they will go for a spin and talk.
