Duke smiled and gave a her kiss he sat down next to her . He looked at the door and saw a group of boys of transfer students which were new. As they arrived they started picking on the geeks.

" Looks like we have company" Duke said to the boys and the boys looked at the new group.

" just remember who the true leader is, babe. dont let them go after my girls now. or ill kick their asses" Iris chuckled looking at the new group. " since I cant help my girls... would you by any chance need any help, Duke?" She wanted to help her school team, but she didnt know how. " You are the captain, Duke. So say the word and i'll be right here"

"Nahh babe you just sit, watch and enjoy" Duke at that moment knew he was gonna have trouble with these new students as they seemed like Duke before he met Iris. The boys gathered around duke and said to him "you want to start a fight" Duke looked at them and than looked at Iris "What do you think boss is it ok for you " as Duke laughed. But it wasn't long as the new group went to Duke's table. One of the transfer students said to Duke s Group " Are you gonna stand up? we want this table " Duke kept his mouth shut and looked at Iris

Iris snarled " dont talk to the Captain like that. If you were cheerleaders I would have kicked you off the team, not even giving you a chance. But since im female... and an ex cheerleader.. I cant. Only my boyfriend, Duke, here can do that. "

She sighed as her moods began to kick in " I'll be here to kick ass if I need to... you know how I love to do that" she chuckled smacking him before leaning in and kissed him. To show the others who she belonged to. " Better get out ther, Captain... Whistle if you need me"

She then walked to the bleachers and watched the practice

Duke stood up and walked past them without even saying a word, he wanted to show an example for the others." Come on boys it s training time " as he slammed his football helmet with the lockers.

As training began he saw the new group of boys sitting next to Iris on the bleachers and was wondering what they were saying to her. He wasn't thinking straight about football. His mind was what were the new boys saying to Iris

" get your ass out there" Iris said pointing " or i'll drag you by the ears. And dont think for a minute I wont order my Captain to have you run ten laps for flirting with me" she said rolling her eyes. " get going or else"

Duke called mike "Mike give the ball " as duke got the ball he threw it at one of the transfer student and hit him in the head " Are you gonna leave her or do you want me to come up there " and duke walked towards them but stayed on the pitch. "Iris you ok" Duke said taking off his helmet and waiting for Iris to answer him. The boys gathered around duke ready for action " Come on Duke give us the word " Toby said

" Yeah, Captain, Im fine. I suggest you give this boys a few laps.. " she chuckled walking to him " your call though. Im the pregnant lady, you know. All I'll do is kick their asses for you"

Duke turned to the boys "alright boys you heared the lady, get your asses back on the field" Duke wore his helmet and started running again on the pitch. "Toby what the fuck are you doing man, COME ON !!" then looked at Mike and Mitch " Mike, MItch you stay there they are going to counter attack " he yelled at them. But it was for nothing as the training team scored counter attacking. Duke took off his helmet and threw at the ground "Thats it for today we can't continue like this if we want to win championship you boys look like you never played football before " Duke turned and went to the showers

Iris sighed I have to help these boys she thought as she walked to the locker room. But she stopped " Captain... it's me. do you mind if I come in? I want to chat with the boys... after they showered though... "

She waited just outside the locker room and waited for him to let her in.
