The stocky lioness glanced her dark eyes over to Indigo as she approached her position. Her ears flicked gently, though she remained hunkered down where she was crouched. Once Indigo was within ear shot, she murmured quietly beneath her breath, "What was all the commotion about earlier? I was resting and didn't catch most of it." If she had been awake, she would have been at her sisters side to back her up with whatever she needed. Unfortunately, her body still ached enough that she had spent much of the day just trying to relax and rest. There was a good chance she should have sat this hunt out, but she wasn't one to bail out on a hunt. It just wasn't in her blood to be on the side lines. While awaiting her sisters reply, she turned her dark gaze back to the herd, locking on the aging figure of one of the herd, it's limped gait giving away it's age.

The large, muscular lioness turned her head to the side, glancing at her sister as she spoke. She sighed softly at the questioned. Boy was that moron lucky her head wasn't ripped clean from her neck. She growled lightly under her breath. "one of the lioness was just being an ass and hinted on her own" she explained, anger burning her words as she spoke. Her eye slefr her sisters and back towards the zebra herd. Her gaze locked onto the same target as her sister "want to pick that one off while me and the others start to herdt the pride?" she questioned. |

Nanook ran over to Astrid."hey Astrid." He said with a warm smile."whatcha up to?" He asked, his ears perking forward. He shook out his dark mane, his yellow eyes looking down at her with warmth. |

"Nanook! Hey," she smiled, "I'm going to try hunting. Indigo sent me scouting, and I found the zebra herd. I hope Chaos will be happy, and I hope we catch something," she said. |

"Our food rations are running low, so I will be sending out a hunting party. I will not be leading this hunt, for I have found myself to be unwell this morning. Any volunteers to lead the hunt? This will be a position I take into great consideration when I give my mate the rundown of the day." She said, her lovely eyes washing over each female.

The older male watched as his cub snuggled into him. "Come my dear, it's Time to wake up." He whispered, nudging her to her feet. "Go and play with the other cubs." He urged before walking out of the den. With an echoing rumble, Karaz called the lions to win for the daily tasks.

Jasiri has spotted Astrid with a zebra foal. It doesn't look much, but it'll be enough for Chaos. He went to the edge of the den and roared out to the clearing, as a message to Chaos that ''food is here''.
