Dallas watched as Sandstorm brought the beta in and Ash put her on another leaf bed next to his. Her leg was broken, any wolf could tell that. It didn't look too bad though, and Dallas hoped she would be alright. "You might have some company for a little." Ash said, and he glanced at her for a moment. Simply nodding his head, he allowed her to work. The healer began mixing another potion quickly, and soon finished. The mixture of herbs and water smelled horrid, and he wrinkled his nose at the foul air as she poured it over the broken leg. He watched with mild interest, wondering once again how she knew that potion would work, and how long it would take. Dallas winced when he saw a little bit of bone, and hoped it wasn't too serious. Ash entered the den again, carrying some fireweed and two rabbits. Pushing another bowl of water over between them, probably for Delta, she set the rabbits next to each of them. Then she took the fireweed and placed it behind Dallas' ear. He felt his cheeks grow slightly warm when he realized Sandstorm was still watching. But he did not let the male see his embarrasment. Just then a bark sounded, and his head shot up. "Dogs!" He muttered, then his ears shot up as well as a roar sounded. "Oh no. They've brought a grizzlie!" Shifting into a better position, he struggled to his feet, determination shining in his emerald eyes. Pain ripped through him from his still-healing shoulder, and he gritted his teeth against the pain. "I must help." Dallas said, and began limping towards the entrance, his face still creased with pain.

Ash pulled out the gold flower and put it behind some books so Dallas couldn't see it. She took out a thin, long leaf and started to polish the rubies and gold. The flower shone so bright that she had to go almost ontop of it so Dallas couldn't see the glow. It needed one more thing, she stepped outside and took a deep breath. She found what she was looking for, picking a bright red rose she carefully brought it back to the den. It probbally looked weird beacuse she was trying to hide it from Dallas, but she didn't care. Laying the real rose next to the gold one she started to polish more and stick gold pouder in the places that didn't have any. A bark from outside startled her, dogs! She has always been a healer, not a warrior! She didn't know how to protect herself, and the dogs sounded like they were coming toward the tent! As the first dog head came into the den she just stood there, not knowing what to do. Edited at February 9, 2021 12:54 PM by Frank's Wolf Pack

Dallas glanced around, then returned to his bed with a huff. The dogs weren't in sight yet, and he knew Ash wouldn't want him running around and fighting if he didn't have to. He glanced over at her and was confused to see her in an awkward position, facing away from him. She seemed fine, so he lay his head back on his paws. Ash left the den and returned a few moments later, hiding something. Dallas cocked his head but did not yet question her. Suddenly a bark brought his head up, his muscles tensed, and his body ready to leap up. Ash seemed frightened, and he knew he was right that she had never been in a battle before. As a dog head came into the den, Dallas also realized he was willing to fight for her. The dog growled, taking a step further into it. That was far enough for Dallas. Shoving hard off his back legs, he leapt up. Flying across the den, and he landed on the dog. Snarling and snapping, he attacked his leg beginning to hurt already. Slicing his claws down, he cut across its neck. It yelped and he bit down hard on its ear, severing the tip. The dog wailed and rushed out of the den, leaving them behind. Dallas did not have time to think about his own injuries the dog had given him because the next dog arrived at the den. This one was not slow to attack. He hurled himself at Dallas, and they rolled backwards into the den. Seizing the dogs paw in his mouth, he clamped down and twisted, hearing the dog howl in anguish. Then it was his turn to yelp, for the dog had dug his claws into his underbelly savagely, drawing blood. Throwing the dog off, he managed to bite its tail before it retreated out of the den. Dallas was breathing heavily, and blood was streaming from his stomach, side, and a few other places. His leg felt like it was on fire and he suddenly felt weak. Collapsing on the ground, he stared at the entrance. If any more dogs dared poke even a hair around the edge, they would pay dearly, though he knew he couldn't hold it forever. Dallas knew he must protect Ash and Delta, who were in no condition to fight. But neither was he. Even as he lay there, with spasms of pain shooting through him like a knife, he knew it would take longer now to recover. "They will never get in!" He rasped, his head falling to the ground, gasping for breath. He was in pretty bad shape by now, but didn't seem to care. "Dogs! Do you hear me! If you try to come in, it will be the last thing you do!" Dallas yelled, then half closed his eyes, his whole body tensed against the immense pain that was crashing over him like waves in the ocean. "Thank you, for everything, Ash."

Eagle decided to spy on the other wolves. He knew how sneaky they could be. Taking a dangerous path through the forest, he trekked all the way behind Tempest's den. Watching from a distance, he saw some wolves shouting and 2 wolves dragged one, who looked hurt, into a den. It looked like the healer's den. Eagle averted his gaze to look at Tempest, who had just stepped out and was watching the 3 wolves. He watched as she seemed to let out a breath of relief. Strange, he thought. Tempest doesn't usually care for someone. Eagle shrugged and saw her head up a hill, into the forest. Quietly stalking her, he hid behind some dense foliage and watched as she walked up to a tree. Then he smelled it. Dog. Eagle saw Tempest's fur bristle and her hairs rise. He took a deep breath. Stay calm. Suddenly, a loud roar was heard from the camp down below. Jumping out of the way so Tempest wouldn't see him, Eagle looked on as she rushed downhill.

Ash was so suprised she couldn't speak. Dallas had thrown himself into the battle with the dogs, she was proud of him, but she didn't have time to think about that. As soon as another dog head poked in it headed for Dallas. Without thinking Ash hurled herself at the dog, ripping with her teeth and claws. She knew that she had to protect Dallas, no matter what. biting the ear and tugging on it she fillaly forced the dog out of the den, not without a couple scraches though. Ash didn't care about herself, she ran toward Dallas and examined his bleeding chest. Grabbing some soft leaves that she got earlyer that day she wrapped the wound up and tied it to it couldn't bleed anymore. "Why did you do that? You could of been killed!" She said helping Dallas up and walking him toward the back of the cave. "But, thank you Dallas." She said softer. "Thank you for everything."

Dallas realized he must have lost conciousness for a few seconds, because suddenly Ash was fighting another dog. No! His mind yelled. Don't help her, you could get hurt! He battled with himself for a few moments, debating wether to force himself up and help, or stay down. The the dog fled, and he sighed with relief. Ash rushed over and saw to his wound, wrapping it in some soft leaves and tying it so it would stop the blood from flowing. She helped him stand then walk back to the back of the den. "Why did you do that? You could have been killed!" Ash said beratingly as he carefully sat down. "But, thank you Dallas. Thank you for everything." Dallas smiled as she spoke. "I know. But at least you would have been safe." He said, giving her a quick nuzzle on the cheek, then looking away. The fireweed was somehow still tucked behind his ear, despite his tussles with the dogs. Removing it, he placed it behind Ash's ear. "There, you keep that." He said gently. Glancing over, he saw the uneaten rabbit and picked it up. Then he began eating part of the leg. Dallas realized it must have been a while since he last ate. Besides, the rabbit helped him distract himself from Ash, who seemed even more pretty with the flower behind her ear, the way she often put it on him.

Sandstorm left the healing den and ran toward the dog's camp. He passed the waterfall and around the rock that still had blood on it from Delta's fall. He shivered at the sight, going past it he found what he was looking for. He could see the stick cage and the hole Delta tore through it. Creeping in he couldn't see anyone so he decited to check out the place. He went from den to den without a dog in sight. He was passing the last den and was going to leave it be when a sweet smell drifted out of it. He poked his head in and found that the smell was crushed mint. The stack of potions on the wall made him think that this was the healing den. He took a step forward and then stopped, in the corner of the den was a dog. His first instint was to attack but then he thought about it more, it this was the healer's den than this must be the healer. He stood in the doorway hoping to be seen by the healer.

Tempest | Alpha Female | Wolf Pack | 3 | M: Everyone (ind.) The moment Tempest saw the bear in camp, she knew that the dogs must have led it to them. She could tell, as there was a strong scent of dog which led to he Wolf Pack's camp. "Those little-" Tempest could not finish her sentence, for she was trying to keep her fury under control. But she couldn't. "Those dogs are trying to take what is rightfully MINE, and they're so damn stupid that they can't even realize that they'll NEVER succeed in taking over MY territory!" The powerful alpha female snarled, her voice full of malice and bottomless hatred and rage. As Tempest's gorgeous white figure dashed intp the Wolf Pack's camp, the female was sure that some of her pack members could feel the anger and fury radiating off of her. "Get all of the pups and members of the pack that're unable to fight to safety!" Tempest barked, "all of those that can fight, then fight!" All of the wolves in her pack, except for pups, had been taught what to do in a situation like this. With a roar, Tempest leaped up onto the bear's back, making sure to grip on to it well before she started to tear away it's fur and drew blood.
