Shadow Shadow looked down at the dog before blinking once. The last thing he needed was another dog sniffing in on him. He already had Alha to worry about and the foxes. Ooh, the foxes were almost to the point of trapping him in a cage just to know where he was. Who knows where they were right now. "I don't grieve in the way most do." He finally answered, flattening his ears once. "I don't need time, I need to go hunting." For something that doesn't expect to get killed. He thought to himself before hearing the machines again.
They made him almost as mad as he was at the jaguars. That would work for a bit. "I would suggest going back to Shalah. I know you guard dogs have seen a lot but well, welcome to my forest." He growled, standing up. Alha would probably scratch his ears off for this but he wasn't really caring at this point. He looked back down at Pazla before saying quietly, "I think its best if you go back to your own kind now. Or at least back to camp. There is one more pup that needs buried and I can get my mate and step-brother here in a bit."

Pazla|M|Guard Dog|Mentions: Shadow then Shalah Pazla nodded . He looked at Shadow and said "Well I'll be around, just call if you need me again if you need me again, it was a pleasure to meet you again Shadow sir." He bowed his head and then swiftly trotted away. He had aast look over his shoulder before he started running. Well running for a chihuahua is basically a slow jog and maybe even a speed walk for a Wolf or a bigger creature. He ran back to Shalah and said "Do you need me or can I go back ?" He looked around and marveled silently at how calm the forest seemed but now dark things could be like the killing of innocent pups. He involuntarily shuddered and then blinked. He looked at Shalah once again awaiting her reply.

Kodiak-Male-Lone Wolf-Mentions: Open Kodiak slowed down his pace. He sniffed the air and ground, looking and listening for anything that might hinder his travels. He had been traveling for a while now, trying to find a place and a territory of his own. He wanted a good spot with lots of prey and hopefully not many wolves near. He sniffed the air again, trying to figure out what the strange scent in the air was. It smelled almost like another wolf, where there wolves in this area? He stopped and sniffed again, hoping that they weren't too close. It didn't take long though for Kodiak to get bored of sniffing and continue on his way. If they were wolves they couldn't hurt him. He could take anything any wolf threw at him. He started off again, though this time more alert and on the ready.

Shalah | F | Healer | Strays Unite Pack | M: Pazla Shalah finished with Flame before Pazla came back. At his question, she shook her head. "I'm going to wait for Alha to come back here before heading back to the pack. Flame will keep me company until then." She said although the elder had fallen asleep. The female was close to her time, maybe a few more seasons at most.
Frost | M | Fox | M: Kodiak
Frost was bounding his way through the forest when he smelled a wolf. Hmm...odd for a lone wolf to be this far into the territory. But the humans were doing construction so he would expect more animals to be coming this way. Scurrying up a tree, he leaped through the branches before finding the wolf. Staying close, he followed him trying to figure out if he was friendly or not. He finally let out a cackling laugh, jumping to a low branch so he could get a better look at the wolf. "Long ways from home aren't you?" He said, flicking his tail almost lazily at the wolf.

Kodiak-Male-Lone Wolf-Mentions: Frost Kodiak smelled the fox before he heard him. He could smell the furry creature bounding through the trees. He didn't think the thing could hurt him, though was aware of it all the same. He kept walking onward, still smelling the fox near him above the trees. Soon laughter startled him and he looked to the trees from where it came from. There was the fox, jumping down to a lower branch so he could talk to the wolf. "Long ways from home aren't you?" The fox asked, amused. "I'm exactly where I want to be, fox." Kodiak snarled back. (Sorry it's kinda short!) Edited at May 3, 2022 07:57 AM by Franks Wolf Pack

Pazla|M|Guard Dog| Mentions: Shalah, Flame He nodded to Shalah and replied swiftly " Just howl if you need me and I'll return as swift,t as my legs can go." He turned towards Flame and said " I wish you well now, nice to meet you" with tha5 he ambled off bsck towards the den where he would probably spend the next few hours wondering aimlessly alongside the o5er dogs Alha had generously taken into her life and her pack. He eventually made it towards the den and looked at the guard dog's sleeping in duty and he panicked. He let put a sharp bark, awaking them both "I'll take the duty , Bring the other guard dog by me once she has finished eating" They nodded and gratefully told the other guard dog her duties before slumping in the warmth of the pack den. He smiled and looked forwards , gazing out and looking for any signs of movements whiskt staring at awe at the sky.

Opal|F|Snowy Owl|Mentions: Illusion and Louvel Opal woke up from her long nap and waddled back towards Killjoy and Glacier's pack dens. She saw Illusion and Louvel sat by a deer. She looked at and congratulations them both. " Well done Illusion, did Louvel give you a hand?" She licked a little blood from the now little cut, She smiled. They had a good healer, ine that no one really seemed appreciated or talked to so she made a mental note to grab prey and maybe a flower for the healer. She looked between Lou and Illusion. She blinked slwoly and ran around in circles until she snuggled in between Illusion and Louvel all fluffy and warm. Opal yawned and thought about the current events that happened, how the pack seemed free. She like it, no strictness and everyone really just got a long or just was neutral. Opal liked it here. A lot. By a lot, she would always find herself wandering back to the place where this pack slept most of the time. She sighed and the snowy owl who was dwarfed by the two wolves, young and old. She looked up fascinated by the deer corpse.

Frost Frost tilted his head, his old trickster coming back to him like instinct. "Tsk tsk tsk, is that how you greet everyone? A shame really, I wouldn't see you as a threat." Frost said, letting out a cackle. He stood up, arching his back before stretching out again. "If I were you, I would get out of this territory as soon as possible," Frost continued before Icicle appeared on a higher branch in the tree opposite of the wolf. Icicle sniffed disdainfully at the wolf, blood still on her pelt from the last of the pups. She had taken it quite hard when the pups died and buried them where Shadow had put the first two.
Frost flicked an ear at her but she promptly ignored him, instead growling at the wolf, "Now is not the time to be crawling into this cursed territory. All you will find is death and the shadows lurking about to kill you." Frost stiffened, stifling the urge to shudder. She sounded as cold as she used to, although, there was no trace of humor in her voice this time. Her face was completely cold as well, not showing any hint that she was playing around.

Kodiak-Male-Lone Wolf-Mentions: Frost, Icicle Kodiak growled at the annoying fox. His patience was wearing thin, though he didn't have much to begin with. He tried to continue walking and ignore the fox, but instead of it leaving, another one came. This one had blood on it's coat, and the two seemed to know each other. "Now is not the time to be crawling into this cursed territory. All you will find is death and the shadows lurking about to kill you." the second one said, her voice low and menacing. Kodiak pretended to ignore the foxes, instead continuing on the way he had been going. Mentaly though he took note of the female's words and was alert in case she proved to be correct. He heart a shuffling of leaves and a crack of sticks behind him, though thought that it was probably just the foxes. He didn't care what was in this forest, he just wanted to pass through it. Though if it was truly full of death then maybe he would stay a little. He was always up for a challenge, or a fight. If he fought off whatever was here it could make a nice home for him. It seemed like a fine forest to him, though not the foxes. Kodiak started a faster pace, hoping to reach the heart of the forest before long. Edited at May 6, 2022 03:54 PM by Franks Wolf Pack

Shadow Shadow walked through the forest back towards where he heard the foxes cackling. He would have to stop by a stream before Alha saw him. Surprisngly, killing a human was not very satisfying. He huffed, smelling something else. A lone wolf. How perfect. The last thing he needed was a wolf in his territory. And going straight back towards his camp too. Shadow growled before feeling a weight on his back.
"Lone wolf. Male. Already met Frost and Icicle." The fox chattered bluntly on his back. He didn't recognize the voice but the fox was gone before he could ask. Lovely. This time, the familiar weight of Icicle landed on his back. "Why didn't you invite me? I'm fine with killing something by now." Icicle asked, looking like she just killed something before realizing what it was. Her expression matched his. He knew the fox had been close to his pups, just like he had been. He couldn't spot Frost anywhere, but instead growled to Icicle, "Then let's go find something."
Frost Frost watched the wolf go off before Icicle went off, most likely towards Shadow. He would think the two would get along just fine right now. Instead, he trailed after the wolf before landing on the male's back for a second, digging in his claws before springing off. "You have a lot of nerve to keep heading in. Like the female said, this is a place of death. If you continue on, you might find yourself exactly where you don't want to be." Frost said, no humor in his voice but a serious tone entering.
After all this death, he actually didn't want to see anymore bloodshed. He continued following in the trees, not giving much sign that he was there but staying in sight.
