Draedius Winfel | Male | 25 | Bounty Hunter | M: Vinnie As Draedius waited for a decision to be made, he heard the sounds of dragon speech coming from the two dragons accompanying Vincenzo. He couldn't understand it, of course, and he felt rather uneasy while the two conversed with each other. He couldn't help but wonder what they were saying; he hoped it wasn't anything like 'We should attack it now' or 'what seasoning do you think would go well with it?'. However, he could only imagine what it could be, and by their actions as they spoke, he didn't think he wanted to know. All he knew was that standing there listening to two dragons speak in a language that he didn't know, and about things that might affect him, was not exactly a very thrilling experience. He didn't have to wait long for the decision. Soon after the dragons had their say, Vincenzo spoke. He said that he didn't trust Draedius, which to the bounty hunter, was not very surprising. If he were in the same position, he wouldn't have trusted himself either. Then, to his relief, Vincenzo agreed to follow him. Draedius had been a bit worried that he might refuse, since he wanted to get away from the place as quick as possible. He had not planned on being in the area at night, but his desire to find the source of the voices temporarily overcame his fear of what might happen. Now that his instincts were kicking in again, he was eager to avoid the danger of being ambushed by criminals. If he had a couple of fellow bounty hunters with him, he would care less about the danger. Since he was basically alone, he knew he had no chance of fending off the criminals and he still had his father to take care of back home. It appeared to Draedius that the Wind Dancer seemed rather unhappy with the decision. This was the same dragon he was a bit cautious of before, and he still kept this mindset. By the chilling glare the Wind Dancer gave him, it was clear that she would not hesitate to attack him if she could. He made a mental note to avoid her and keep a closer eye on her just in case she decided to suddenly charge at him. Draedius knew dragons could be very unpredictable, and to be on the safe side, he assumed the Wind Dancer would be also. He didn't want to turn his back to the aggressive looking dragon, but Vincenzo had already asked him to take the lead and it was he that had volunteered to bring him them to a safe place. Turning in the direction of the safe place, he started walking. His pace was quick, but silent nonetheless. He knew the group wouldn't have much trouble following him. Still, Draedius couldn't help but look over his shoulder every few minutes to make sure they were there, and possibly to keep an eye on the Wind Dancer. After about ten minutes, he called to them. "We're almost there. Just a few more yards to go." He said, making sure his voice was quiet enough to not attract attention, but loud enough for them to hear. Indeed, he could already see their destination in the distance, with the campfire blazing and hidden sentries around the vicinity. As Draedius drew closer, one of these sentries revealed himself from the shadows and commanded them to halt. Without skipping a beat, he replied with a smile, "Come on, Esel. You're not going to stop me, are you?" With a start, the sentry asked, "Draedius, is that you? Who's with you?" Looking back to the others, Draedius turned back to the sentry and answered, "Just guests. They'll be staying in camp for the night. You know how bad the streets can get at this time." Nodding, the sentry stepped back and allowed them to pass. Striding into the camp, Draedius turned towards his new acquaintances. Knowing an explanation would probably be needed, he said, "This is the place. You should be safe here for the night. Sentries are posted to watch the area and make sure no one comes in here to wreak havoc. Besides, you don't have a bounty on your head, so there's not much to worry about. Since you've already been given clearance, everyone else will leave you alone. I'll go and let you get settled." With this being said, Draedius left them and began looking for a good spot to rest for the night. It wasn't long before he found a sheltered area under a large tree with turf that was somewhat soft. Sinking down with his back to the tree, he found himself wondering how he got himself into this situation. It was his fault, of course, but he still should have known better. Juniper Grenleff | Demi-Boy | 22 | Serpent-Tongue Speaker | M: Ejiah Pavi soared above the cloud with her tongue hanging out of her mouth and flapping in the wind as she closed her eyes, the tips of her claws slicing into the clouds. Juniper let go of Pavi as they leaned back, cracking their spine as they stretched with a happy sigh. Pavi huffed when she felt Juniper let go, shaking her body just enough that Juniper had to lunge to grab onto her so he didn’t fall off. Juniper grumbled under their breath, something about how rude Pavi was for nearly killing them, causing Pavi’s body to shake with mischievous clicks, laughing at the matter. Peering through the clouds, Juniper could see the mountain peaks that surround the Valley and smiled fondly at the idea that he could finally go home. Juniper gently tapped Pavi’s shoulder who looked back at him as he gave a small circling motion with his finger. In an instant Pavi ducked below the clouds, rolling through the air before hovering inches above Ejiah and Atayi. Oh, not to mention, Juniper and Pavi were hovering above the two upside-down with Juniper’s head nearly touching Ejiah’s. Knocking politely on Ejiah’s skull to get his attention, Juniper motioned ahead to the mountains before motioning for Ejiah to follow him. Pavi righted herself so her feet faced the ocean below before licking the back of Ejiah’s head to say hi. Juniper tapped her shoulder again and pointed for her to travel downwards which she immediately did. Nosediving towards the ocean, Pavi sprayed up mist as she zoomed over the water before darting between the trees on the shore of the ocean. Instead of flying over the mountains and forests to enter the Valley, the two weaved between trees, scattering wildlife and other animals as Pavi performed maneuver after maneuver to avoid the flora and fauna of the woods. As they grew closer to the mountain, a tunnel with a broken down and damaged sign was visible. Tucking in her large wings, Pavi zoomed through the other side before they reached the calm, still clearing. Fireflies lit the Valley as three baby Bonecrushers were ushered to the safety of their small sleeping shacks by their mother where dragons slept in large piles for warmth, Windracers raced through the skies while playing with a glowing ball they held securely in their claws, and smoke puffed from the wooden cabin in the center of the Valley where Juniper's family were waiting for food. Watching over the sheep fields, the gardens, the willow tree by pond, Juniper smiled happily as Pavi’s tail wagged with excitement before slowly landing, placing the bag of fish down carefully on the ground. Juniper hopped off of Pavi before turning to Ejiah while giving a grand motion to the Valley behind him. “Welcome to the Valley where our dragon population is 321– including your dragons now— while excluding the Terrors and the eggs and our human population is currently nine since Dad and Henry are gone and you are here!”

Montana Emery "Emery" Griffin|22|Female|Dragon-Whisper| Mentions: Her dragons,Astra + Open After awhile, She went outside to call them in but no avail. She lit up a lantern as it was becoming dark and shouted for them. She panicked and searched and shouted. She searched for awhile unti she came across her dragons with a wild one she assumed. They were being respectful, not bothering him that much. Emery saw Okami being dominated beside the huge beast. Emery squinted and then she saw Fallon and Ace on the back of the dragon. She racked her brain for the species and then it came. Emery accidentally spoke in a whisper " Bonecrusher" The word just sent chills up her spine, why did someone have to name a dragon that. She took a few deep breaths and gently called for them again.
As she did a final call, the dragon's eyes looked at her, she could not see their expression. Emery was hoping it was fear instead of anger although both made wild dragons unpredictable . She lecture herself quietly and then backed away , gesturing for her dragons to come . Emery watched in awe and silence as the bug dragon helped the two little dragons onto the back of Okami. Okapi then spoke to the Bone crusher with Ace and Fallon seeming to be speaking excitedly in gaps. Emery laughed and then as Okami came bounding up to her, Emery bowed to the dragon before turning away and trying to catch up with Okami who was bounding ahead through the long grass with poor Ace and Fallon clinging on.
Astra|Old|Male| Melanism Bonecrusher| Mentions: Emery's Dragons then Juniper Grenleff and Elijah + Open Astra let out a variety of different halls clicks to the bounding dragons. Okami had finally come with her adopted siblings, Fallon and Ace. Omani looked beautiful in this light but then again Okami was always beautiful in his eyes. He grumbled to himself and told himself to shut up.
He let Okami put the two small dragons on his back. One was a Dwarf Lightning Runner called Ace and One was a Sniffer called Fallon. They were tiny so Astra was grateful that Okami put them on his back so he did not accidentally crush them. After a few minutes, the two small dragons had settled down and were half asleep. Astra began to talk in the tongue of Dragons" Okami, Thank you for Coming, I saw you earlier and you said you saw the place where I sleep" The Ice-cutter replied swiftly "Yes I did, Oh Astra your memory is terrible" They both laughed, Astra so much that the two dragons awoke startled the jolts they felt underneath them . They soon settled down again and Astra clicked " I know, I am old, grumpy and tired...Now where was this place?" Astra desperately needed to know, he had been searching day and night. The dragons there would wonder where he had gotten to or whether he had been captured or worse killed. He knew he was too valuable to kill. Okami spoke and told him the route. He knew exactly where to go, suddenly Okami's owner appeared and he froze his eyes to her . She spoke some words something along the lines that she wanted the dragons to go now. He put Fallon and Ace onto Okami's back and spoke two simple words " Thanks, Go" He stood there in shock as a human. Yes a human bowed down to him. He grumbled his thanks and then thundered away. He pounded towards the place he called home. Eventually he had to slow down but not that much as he was a slow runner, it had taken him ages to get here. Ine because he was slow and two because he had to take so many breaks. He painted and slowly entered, passing a human . He brushed his scales past the humans being careful not to hurt the fragile thing. He let out a bellow and then lots of clicks and then a hmph as the three baby bone crushers came out yelling " Grandpa! Grandpa!" He nuzzled them and then sent them back to their mother, his daughter , he had with his mate , a bonecrusher who had died years ago. He sighed and sat down , trying not to cause a earthquake or a pin avalanche. He cautiously looked at the two humans with half opened eyes. Edited at June 12, 2022 04:58 PM by Pastry Lord

Michael Evans - 24 - M - Serpent-Tongue speaker - Mentions: dragons
It was dark out.
The young man looked skywards. Clouds gathering in the night sky, dark gray and illuminated by the moon's light. He couldn't tell if it was a sign of impending rain or a storm. Alas he could not predict the weather, only make an educated guess based on what it looks like. He spied a dark shape soaring overhead as swift as the the winds on which it glided. He was not alarmed by the shape of the dragon, he knew it to be Honor, his Wind Dancer riding dragon. Nor was he alarmed by the faint sounds of creatures around him in the dark, the shape of medium-sized bipedal creatures, sleek and predatory. "Very nice night to be out."
The voice of Glory came from his left side, not too far away from him. He mumbled an agreement, not feeling awake enough to commit to a more coherent answer. The sentiment was the same nonetheless. An amused short came from her in response, the Stinger not dedicating any words to it.
The reason why there were out at this time of night, was because everyone had been feeling restless, unable to sleep or rest. Even Michael himself, despite how tired he was acting at the moment; but he had burned off that jittery feeling that had previously plagued him. But the three dragons were rejoicing in their activity, so he remained awake; watching and listening to both the night and the swiftly moving shapes, two on the ground and one above. Then one of them, Justice, stopped dead in her tracks, her head high, smelling something in the air. He noticed it, but didn't pay it any mind until she suddenly whirled around and tore off in the opposite direction, most likely following the aforementioned scent. It was a bit startling to Michael, his head snapping in that direction.
"What the- Justice!"
He called in the dragons' language to her, knowing full well that she would still be within hearing range but ignore him. A moment later, he ran after her, Glory at his heels. Above them, Honor had wheeled in their direction and flew above them, keeping track of everyone, just in case. Michael knew his speed could not match that of the dragons, but he pushed himself to keep on the trail, Glory ahead of him letting him know where Justice had tread. Soon, he came to a house, and he stopped quickly enough that he almost tripped over his own feet; he sure hoped nobody would come out and see him. It might end badly. He spied the dark green Stinger standing near the house.

Montana Emery "Emery" Griffin|22|Female|Dragon-Whisper| Mentions: Her dragons and Michael Evans and his dragons. Emery had been lounging in the sofa with Fallon and Ace when all the sounded she heard Okami speaking to or at least trying to talk to something or someone. Emery grabbed her dagger from the wall and put it in it's sheath which was on the inside of her boot. She stomped on her boots and went outside to see what was going on, Ace and Fallon following her as always. "Okami, honestly what is it now? I have already told you -" Emery froze as she finally looked up and saw a man in possibly his early twenties or late teens. She nodded him a greeting and calmed Okami down , she gave Ace and Fallon warning glances that said "dont attack". Emery nodded again this time at the man, "Hi , I see you have found my home, What brings you here at this time?" She asked . She looked at the tense hunting dragons and told them to g9 inside in the tongue of dragon. She nodded to Okami to relax again and then continued to look at the man. She yawned and did not stop to stifle it. Whiskt awaiting for the man's reply , she tried to think of all the possible reasons why we cam to her house in the very late evening. She was in her nighttime clothing, a singular blue robe over baggy trousers and a top with the zodiac stars on.

Michael Evans - 24 - M - Serpent-Tongue speaker - Mentions: Montana Emery Griffin & her dragons, his dragons
Michael had stopped at the sound of a unfamiliar dragon's voice, then someone had stepped out of a house. She had frozen for a moment after she saw him; he noted that he had just a little bit of height on the unfamiliar person, perhaps an inch or less. He thought the air was tense, not overly so, but cautious. Before saying anything he made himself relax, trying not to portray an unfriendly character, he was not looking for a fight tonight.
"Hello. One of my hunting dragons ran off, and I followed." He stated simply. It was the truth, and he saw no reason to lie on that account. There was a familiar sound of wings flapping behind him, then the thump of a dragon landing. He need not look behind him to see that it was Honor, the deep purple Wind Dancer arching his neck slightly as he looked at the two humans. Off to the side, there was a snarl and a snap of jaws, then a responding growl, before the sound of colliding bodies and an indignant wordless screech.
"Ignore them, please. They do this sometimes." He added after a moment, turning his head to look in their direction.
"You two! Not now." Michael called in their language, the pops and clicks issuing from his mouth as easily as he spoke the humans's language.

Elijah Phoenix | Dragon-Tamer | Male | M: Juniper - Elijah was bent low over Atayi's back, water splashing up and getting his hair wet. A small knock on his head roused Elijah from his thoughts. He screeched, letting go of Atayi and sliding into the cold water. Resurfacing, he spluttered and swept the hair out of his face. Atayi was a few yards away from him by the time she noticed he was gone and she stopped windsurfing, heaving herself out of the water to hover. Her eyes flickered back and forth to find her rider. When she found him waving an arm to get her attention, she rolled her eyes at the pitiful sight of him being soaked. Flying forward, she plucked him out of the water and shook him in an attempt to dry him off. At this, he yelped. "Hey! Atayi, don't do that!" She immediately stopped and threw his shrieking form into the air. Smoothly tilting her wings up, she caught him on her back. Elijah huffed and muttered, "Unessescary." He caught Juniper's gaze and gave him a bright smile. "I'm fine. Aside from being wet, I mean," He moved his arms away from his body and shook them. "Thanks for nearly giving me a heart attack and getting me soaked, by the way." Atayi began following Pavi, dipping back down to the sea to windsurf again. She banked upward as she saw land, flying over the trees after Pavi. Smothering a playful urge to nip the end of Pavi's tail, she settled with catching up with him and nudging him with one wing. She landed beside him and shuffled away from the fish net. Clothes feeling uncomfortably soggy, Elijah got off of Atayi's back and stood next to Juniper. "Sheesh. That's a lot of dragons."

Montana Emery "Emery" Griffin|22|Female|Dragon-Whisper| Mentions: Her dragons and Michael Evans and his dragons. Emery accessed the young man thoughtfully before deciding that what wh spoke was not a lie."Nice to meet you" said Emery after a minute or so had passed the. She added " Sorry for awkwardness, I am not used to visitors...Usally just me and the dragons...Let me introduce you." With that she looked sideways to see her dragons roughly playing with the young man's dragons. Without warning them , she sharply whistled the woolly ptarmigan or something call and they came to her immediately uttering words like "huh?" Or "Is there an emergency?" Emery grinned at them and spoke in dragon tongue "No Emergency, needed to get your attention.Stay here , I'll introduce you." She then switched to English and spoke to the man yet again " I'm Emery, The sniffer dragon is Fallon,The Ice-cutter here is Okami and the dwarf lightening runner is Ace, What about you?" She waited for a bit then accussed herself for a moment before coming out again with hot chocolate p, she didn't know if he had any allergies so Emery had quickly made two dairy free hot chocolates hoping he liked them more than tea or coffee as she didn't have any. She smiled at her dragons, before allowing them to run off. Emery applied the allergy cream to Ace's scales and let them off with a warning to behave and not to play roughly. Emery then turned to face the man.

Michael Evans - M - Serpent-Tongue speaker - Mentions: Montana Emery Griffin & her dragons, his dragons
Michael switched his gaze from dragon to dragon when they were being introduced. Nice looking ones too, not that appearance was everything for them. He was about to respond when she excused herself. Once she came out again with two cups, he turned to the side slightly, so that the dragons were more visible.
"That one is Glory," he started, pointed at said feathered stinger, her plumage quite regal, with black and purple and gold. And who was standing not too far away, a few paces at most, staring at them with intense yellow eyes.
"Justice is that one's name," he nodded over to the darker colored stinger, the deep green scaled dragon stalking around, her head turned in their direction; he could almost see her lip pulled up and back enough to expose a little bit of white teeth.
"And Honor is right behind me." He finished, the dark purple Wind Dancer looking around the area, not moving except for the head and neck as he glanced around, and the barely visible moving of his sides as he breathed.

Emery smiled politely then her cheeks hurt after a few seconds so she stopped and adopted a neutral face expression. She looked at each dragon as he said their names . "Oh sorry m this is for you, I didn't know if you like hot chocolate but it's the only thing I have." She laughed nervously as she handed him the cup of hot chocolate. Emery looked around before shivering and pulling the blanket she had draped around her shoulders closer to her shivering body. She wondered how dragons could withstand such cold nights or whether it was just her and her broken body temperature. Emery looked the man in the eyes as Okami came up to her and spoke one single word " Michael" so she assumed that was the man's name. She kept it in her mind so she didn't forgot the next time she spoke to the man. Astra|Old|Male| Melanism Bonecrusher| Mentions: OPEN Astra grumbled away as he trekked through the valley. He grumbled an apology to the two people as he passed them again. The old bone rusher sat down and watched the birds startle at the thud. He then sat down and cleaned his dusty black scales. He watched the young dragons playing, the parents watching their children proudly. The juveniles flying overhead, playing in the sky with their new found flying skill. Astra smiled at that and the. Went back to grumbling to himself and cleaning himself, The bonecrusher grumbled at a young dragon softly for spraying dust when running past. The dust had gone onto his scales he had just cleaned. He settled down to clean the again.
