G1 = "First Generation" = no discernable parents, aka both parents are "Lone Wolf".

G2 = has parents

G3 = has grandparents

is there a G4?

There's a lot of gens, I'd guess 10+. A fair amout of people(myself included) have bred there alphas for generations(Like your og wolves pup x a bought wolf and their pup x a bought wolf, so on and so on.) I think I'm on gen 5 or 6 with my alt account

Wait okay so which parent do you look at for the generation?

I'd say whoever has the most generations. Say your Female has 2 and your male had 5 I'd say their pup is G6
