Any tips on how to draw a feline or canine?

I've been tryna draw animals, either one is good ^^"

references will be your best friend <3 i usually look up "cat sketch reference" or whatever i'm wanting to draw and from that, i use basic shapes to map out the anatomy and where the legs / paws will be. the rest is just personal style.
