When the male behind him spoke, he slowly turned his head. He stopped humming and listened. He knew the guy was right, but he didn't know how to gut an animal. He just looked at the male for a moment before looking down. "I know," He said quietly, "But I don't know how to. I was gonna wait for Jinx or Aleria but I don't think they do either." He then added, speaking a bit louder. He looked at the ground for a moment, before getting the bright idea to ask if the male knew how to. He looked up through his thick lashes, wanting to ask but he couldn't get the words to come out. In the end, he took a deep breath and looked back toward the fire.
(Please forgive me for this god awful post)

Raihn kept his green gaze fixed on Finn as he waited for an answer. He listened as the male stopped humming, watched as he looked up at him, and raised a brow. When he listened to his response he bit back a faint smirk. For all this jerk's big talk, it seemed like he might just need his help. "Considering it hasn't been done, I think it's safe to bet that they don't know." He said as he watched him. Falling quiet he let out a soft sigh and let his hands fall into his lap as he watched him. He half expected to hear him ask for his help, though honestly, he shouldn't have, especially considering how the guy had been acting towards him. So when he looked away and back towards the fire, Raihn scoffed some and shook his head. It was tempting to let the conversation end there but instead, he raised a hand and let out a sigh. So much had been done for him already that honestly he should at least try to start paying Finn and the two women back for all they'd done for him since he showed up. "I can do it." He said finally, his gaze still fixed on Finn.

Finn nearly jumped to his feet when the male had said he could gut the rabbits. He giggled a bit to himself and started to make his way over to the rabbits. "Hell yeah." He said, grabbing both of the dead rabbits and bringing them over to the male. "You can teach me for when I'll have to do this myself." Finn said, softly smiling at the male. He sat down beside the guy and pulled out his special pocket knife. He held it out in his hand, wanting to feel the other male's touch. Finn always knew he was into guys, and he hadn't felt a male touch in a while. Even though he mostly disliked the guy sitting in front of him, he still felt the need to feel touch from him. He made brief eye contact before looking down at he rabbit carcasses. Would he even be able to watch him? They were about to find out.

Raihn jumped slightly in surprise when Finn practically leapt to his feet and giggled, actually giggled. Did the fact that he knew how to clean out a few rabbits really make him that happy? Clearly, if his tangible excitement was anything to go by. He let his gaze follow Finn's movements as he grabbed the two rabbits and started towards him, a brow raised in amusement as he did so. Letting out a soft sigh he gave a nod upon hearing his words. "It's not that difficult." He said, pausing when the guy sat down beside him and pulled out a pocket knife. Seeing it offered to him he lifted his gaze from it and towards Finn for a second before he moved to take it. He found himself painfully aware of the warmth of Finn's hand against his fingertips, of the feeling of their hands touching for the brief moment it took him to retrieve the knife from his hand. "Do you know if you can tolerate the sight of blood?" He questioned after clearing his throat and grabbing one of the rabbits.

Finn watched the male before him, listening to him saying it was easy. Yeah for you it might be, Finn said to himself. The mental part seemed to be more of an issue for Finn. The blood, guts, the fact that the poor animal was once a living creature. The poor rabbits in front of him were just trying to live. He pushed the sad thoughts away when he was pulled back to reality after feeling the male's fingertips brush against his palm. He looked down for a moment, holding his breath. Slowly, he bit at his bottom lip nervously before looking up. He simply nodded in response, which was a complete lie. Finn hated the sight of blood, and blood pouring out of an animal was going to be extremely hard to watch. He shakily let out the breath he had been holding, before taking another deep breath. He now had to mentally prepare himself for what he was about to see. He scooted the tiniest bit closer to the male, just to get a better look of course.

Raihn watched Finn as he waited for an answer. When he saw him nod he raised a brow, not entirely believing that he was fine with blood, entrails, and everything else that came with gutting an animal. If he hadn't done something like this before, and seeing as he didn't even know where to start, it was safe to assume that, then he likely wouldn't be quite as okay with or prepared for what was about to happen. He was half tempted to say something before he decided against it and simply gave a nod. "Okay." He said. Turning his gaze from Finn, Raihn looked down at the rabbit he now had in his lap and turned it so that it was laying on its back, exposing it's belly to him. "If you have to throw up, try not to do it on me." He said, throwing Finn one final glance, and then without giving him any more warning he moved to begin cutting into the abdomen, opening it up so that he could begin gutting it.

Finn looked down at the rabbit for a split second before they immediately returned to the male's face. He couldn't, he didn't want to, for many reasons. "mhm." Was all Finn could manage when the male told him not to throw up on him. His heart then started beating faster out of nowhere when the male began to cut open the rabbit's belly. "Okay wait." Finn said, quickly bringing a hand to grab the male's to stop it from moving. He then looked away and closed his eyes. He was clearly never good in science when it came to a disecting assignment. He took a deep breath in before opening his eyes. He kept his hand ontop of the males, refusing to let go. He clenched his jaw and looked at the male. "Im sorry." He said softly, slowly letting go of the males hand and putting it back in his lap. Okay Finn, man up, Finn told himself.

Raihn kept his gaze and his focus on the rabbit in his lap as he started to cut into its belly. He hadn't gotten very far though before his attention was yanked back and towards Finn when he suddenly grabbed his hand and demanded he wait. With annoyance and some impatience, he looked at the male seated beside him, fighting the urge to shake his hand off. "What?" He questioned, not at all attempting to hide his annoyance at being stopped before he'd really done anything. If he couldn't handle this much then there was no fucking way the asshole would be able to stomach watching what came next. "If you're going to stop me every five seconds, I can do this on my own and you can get back to cooking that soup of yours." He said coolly as he looked at him, a brow raised. It was an ultimatum, one he didn't mind pushing upon Finn. He didn't like to be stopped from doing something he'd started, hated it even more when he'd volunteered his services only to have them thought to be of so little fucking importance.

Finn swallowed as he took note of the male's annoyed tone. He bit back his tongue so that he wouldn't reply with anything rude. "No, I need to learn." Finn simply stated, making brief eye contact with the male before forcing himself to look at the rabbit. He continued to mentally prepare himself for what he was about to see, since pretty soon he would have to see it quite often. He would most likely be the only one gutting the animals they killed. He liked taking care of Jinx and Aleria, so he would end up doing it for that reason. Taking a deep breath, he kept his eyes on the rabbit, trying his best to turn off any emotions he was feeling towards the situation. He wanted to prove to the male that he could do it and that he wouldn't throw up simply from how gross it was going to be. He was stronger than that, he knew it.

Raihn kept his gaze on Finn as he waited for a response. Honestly he wouldn't have been to surprised of the guy backed out now, avoided having to learn this for as long as possible, but when he gave his answer, Riahn paused. A momentary look of surprise crossing his features before he gave a nod. "Good." He said and turned his eyes back to rabbit. With a sigh he moved to begin cutting upen the abdomen again, his movements precise, quick, and skilled. He may not have hunted anything over the past few years but that didn't mean the lifetime of skills his father had taught him on their long hunting trips. He'd tried not to think about his parents, how they were doing, what they were thinking and feeling about his disappearance and the news that was likely all over the country. He could practically hear the sound of the news reporter conveying the sad tale of a promising young college student with everything to live for turned into a ruthless cop killing monster. If the situation was so dire it would have been funny. Him a guy who had been aiming for med school with the intention of saving lives, labeled a murderer. So lost in thought was he that, Raihn didn't pay much attention to Finn, how he was doing at the sight of the entrails, the blood, the sounds of the rabbit being skinned once it was gutted, and of the meat being procured. No, he was lost in thought, his body all but relying on muscle memory to get the job done since he so very clearly wasn't paying such close attention to his task that it could be called a lesson. He didn't say anything, try to explain what he was doing or why it was important, he simply went about doing it. It was only once he'd finished with the one rabbit that he sighed and, throwing a glance towards Finn, moved to grab the other one. "Doing okay there, cupcake?" He questioned.
