Finn rolled his eyes slightly when he heard what the girl replied with. He didn't crawl back out of the tent, instead, he spoke a little louder, "Yes I'm sure, but you do whatever makes you comfortable." He made no effort to look back at her, or interact any further. If she wanted to be close to the fire and be warm she would do so, or at least he hoped she would. Finn moved to lie back down, this time getting slightly closer to Jinx. He softly rubbed her shoulder in attempt to wake her up. "Jinx sweetie." He said softly, shaking her ever so gently. She remained silent, but her eyes soon began to flutter open. "Yeah." She replied, a little confused. "I just wanted to let you know so that you don't freak out when you wake up. This girl is sleeping in here with us, don't worry though. I'll explain more tomorrow." Finn explained briefly. "Oh, okay." She replied, clearly too exhausted to put much thought into it. Soon after saying that, she closed her eyes. Finn let out a sigh of relief, he didn't want to wake her up but knew he had to. Jinx would have probably been freaked out if she woke up to find some random girl sleeping near them, that is if she's still there when they wake up.

Aleria remained where she sat against the far wall even after several long moments after the male disappeared into the tent. She watched the door of it for a long while before turning her gaze to the fire. Its warm flames, dancing about felt as though she were being summoned, as if it was requesting she draw near and warm herself beside it. Letting out a soft sigh she moved to stand up. Grabbing her bag from the ground she cautiously moved over. When she reached the fire she tossed a glance towards the tent, half expecting the guy to poke his head out again and tell her to leave, to say that the invite had been nothing but a joke. When nothing happened though she felt a small and grateful smile pull at her lips before she moved to lay down once again. She'd be sure to try and leave before they woke up so that she wouldn't be a bother, but she didn't exactly want to leave when it was so dark out, so far from the city, and with her being by herself.

Finn spent the next hour or so, tossing and turning. He was struggling to fall asleep, mostly because of the fact that the random girl was there. A part of Finn was scared she would try and steal from them but since he was so nice to her he hoped that would make her not try again. If she's out on her own Finn could see how tempting it could be, Finn himself would have probably stolen from people as well, if it got to that point. It's selfish, but that's just the way it is. Finn fell asleep after another hour or so of tossing and turning. Throughout the night he woke up many times, paranoid that the girl would be gone and so would their bags. Luckily, every time he woke up the girl was sleeping by the fire and their bags were still in their tent. ' Finn was up as the asscrack of dawn, he just said fuck it and stayed awake. He wasn't even going to attempt to fall back asleep, there was no point, Jinx surely was going to wake up soon. If he really needed to he could take a nap during the day, it's not like they had much to do anyways. He stretched as he sat up, yawning as well. The fire was still going, which was good. He grabbed a bag and moved towards the fire, noticing the girl was still there asleep. Being as quiet as he possibly could, he opened the bag and grabbed some food. Today's breakfast menu was ravioli again. He sighed when he read the words "ravioli", he didn't want to eat ravioli again and he was almost certain Jinx would agree. He stuck his hand back in the bag, feeling around for another can. He pulled the first one he found and his eyes lit up, chicken noodle soup. It wasn't much better, but different from ravioli. He checked for a second can of chicken noodle soup, and to his surprise, he found another. He put the ravioli back in the bag, grabbing the can opener before closing the bag. Moving towards the fire, he looked at the dirty pop. "Shit." He mumbled under his breath. He had to go down to the river to clean the pot, might as well shower then he thought. Since they didn't really figure out their showering situation the river was the next best thing. ' He grabbed the dirty pot and his bar of soap from his bag. He looked at both the girl and Jinx, smiling a bit before making his way down to the river. He hoped none of them would wake up before he got back because he wanted to make them breakfast. The river was only about a 3-minute walk, it was really close which was good for them. It provided water which is crucial for survival. Once he got to the water he stood before it, thinking which he wanted to do first, wash the pot or shower. He decided to shower first. He stripped and didn't hesitate to get it, gasping from how cold the water was. He submerged himself for a second before lathering the soap over his whole body, giving certain spots extra care. He made sure to scrub well before submerging himself again to rinse all the soap. His hair was a bit difficult to wash so most of the time he left it, however, today he put a little bit of soap in his hair. He got out of the water after rinsing his hair and body off again, making sure all the soap was off. He stood close to the shoreline and bent down to wash the pot. He didn't bother to get dressed because he had nothing to dry off with unless he wanted his clothes to be wet, so he decided to air dry. Once the pot was washed, he waited there until his lower half was dry. He wasn't about to walk to the camp naked with a random girl being there. As soon as his lower body felt dry enough he put his underwear back on and along with his jeans. He then grabbed his shirt and pot and made his way back to the warehouse.

Aleria's night had been a restless one, her sleep broken. For as tired as she had been, her mind hadn't allowed her much time to rest and recuperate from her day. It had taken her what felt like ages to actually get to sleep and then she had found herself waking to the smallest of sounds. Someone moving in the tent, an owl hooting, the breeze making one of the building doors creak. Each time she'd wake with a start, her heart in her throat and her eyes wide. Every time she found herself expecting to be face to face with one of the men hunting her. It had been a while since she'd felt so paranoid, so fearful, and uncertain of what was awaiting her each time she opened her eyes. This, she assumed, was due to the fact that she was sleeping so close to two people she didn't know. True, if they'd meant her harm... if the guy she'd tried stealing from had wanted to do anything nefarious, he likely already would have, or at the very least tried to. ` Perhaps it was because of this light and seemingly restless sleep that when the male had left the building, Aleria had woken with a jolt. Her eyes flew open and she found herself, not for the first time, scanning the immediate area. Her heart thundered loudly in her chest and her breath seemed to catch in her throat. It took her several moments to calm the worry and unease that had stirred within her, to a multitude of seconds to pass before the logical side of her mind caught up with her emotions, calming them with quiet utterances of being safe. With a tired groan, she moved to sit up and, turning her eyes to the fire which still crackled with life, she lifted a hand and brushed some of the stray locks of hair from her face. With the sudden panic she'd felt disappearing, the lingering exhaustion that often followed a night as restless as hers had begun to sink in. Groaning softly, she let her blue hues turn towards the tent where she could make out the sleeping form of a woman, the same woman she presumed whose silhouette she had seen the night before. The male, she noticed then wasn't anywhere to be seen and she stiffened, quickly sitting up straighter and moving to give the area around her a more thorough search.

Halfway back to the warehouse, Finn decided that he wanted to wash his shirt. It would be one clean clothing item, which is better than nothing. He turned around and walked back to the water. He stood at the shoreline and put his shirt into the water. He then lathered some soap on it and scrubbed the ever-living shit out of it. After giving it a good scrub, he wrung out most of the water and slung it over his shoulder before walking back. He walked back to the warehouse a little bit faster than his usual pace, the reason being he wanted to be there in case the girl woke up. He didn't want to risk her stealing stuff because Jinx was asleep, and it was unknown to him if Jinx had woken up during the time he was gone. Before going inside the warehouse, he looked around to find somewhere to hang his shirt. After he found a tree and hung his shirt up, he walked inside the door to the warehouse and his stomach dropped a bit. The girl was now awake, she didn't seem to be doing anything suspicious and it looked like she had just woken up as well. He wanted to say hey, but ultimately decided not to, so he walked past her not saying a word. He carried the clean, dry pot and utensils to the fire, squatting down when he got there. He then proceeded to open both cans of chicken noodle soup and pour them into the clean pot. Glancing at the girl he put the pot on the fire and then glanced behind him at Jinx. She wasn't awake yet which was a tiny bit surprising but she was exhausted from the trip there. Finn hummed a bit as he sturred the soup as it sat on the fire.

It would have been a lie if Aleria were to say that the idea of grabbing one of the backpacks in the tent and making a run for it hadn't crossed her mind. Because the truth was, it had. Why she didn't act on such an impulse she honestly wasn't sure, it would have been so fucking easy to reach in there, grab the bag that felt like it held the most supplies, and run, but she hadn't. Hell, she hadn't moved from where she sat by the fire. At least, not until the guy returned, with a pot and two cans of food in hand. She swallowed thickly as she watched him, knowing with his presence here that any chance she'd had to steal anything had disappeared. Not, she realized, that she would have. "Morning..." She greeted him with some trepidation as she looked at him. Considering all that he had done for her the night before despite her attempts to relieve him of some of the food he had, offering him as friendly a greeting as she could muster seemed like the least she could do. ` When he opened the cans of food and poured the contents into the pot her eyes followed, as if she could fill herself up simply by looking at the food. Swallowing back her salivation she watched as he set the pan down on the fire, focused on the movement of his hand as he began to stir the soup, and listened to him hum before slowly she looked up at him. (Sorry my posts are so short...>.>)

He continued to stir the soup and hum, feeling the girl's eyes on him. "You can have some, that's why I put two instead of one." Finn said softly. He stopped stirring the food but kept it on the fire to warm it up some more. It didn't really matter how long he heated it up because if he didn't have a fire he and Jinx would have eaten it cold. Food is food, whether it's cold or hot now. Heating up food was nice though, it offered a nice warm meal in their stomachs. He began to hear some shuffling behind him, so naturally he looked. Jinx was waking up, and Finn's heart fluttered a bit. He wanted her to wake up and save him from any awkwardness, but perhaps her waking up would add to the awkwardness. If he just doesn't think it's awkward then it won't be, he told himself. "Good morning sleepyhead." Finn said playfully to Jinx. She struggled to open her eyes as she stood up. "Morning Diaz, is that food I smell?" She questioned as she squinted her eyes towards the fire. "Yes it sure it. This lil fox is gonna stay for food hopefully. It's my treat." Finn replied, looking mostly at Jinx while talking but then at the girl towards the end. "Is it something other than ravioli." Jinx asked as she began to make her way over to Finn. She put her hands on his shoulders, and hugged him a bit as she looked over his shoulder. "Yesssss!" She gasped, eyeing the soup. "Yeah, I thought you'd like something other than ravioli." Finn replied softly, looking up at her a bit. (It's okay mine isn't too long either, I was struggling a bit)

Aleria said nothing more, didn't feel the need to try and remain cordial beyond the morning greeting she'd given the guy. When he said that she could have some of the food that he was preparing, she didn't even try to hide her surprise, her confusion, and lastly her suspicion. Why? She wanted to ask, and yet she feared that one question might undo whatever spell this man was under, and so kept it to herself. When she heard movement from the tent she straightened and swiftly turned her eyes towards it, watching with interest as the woman woke and moved to get out of bed. Still not saying anything, Aleria simply allowed herself this chance to listen, study, and observe. She still wasn't entirely certain this kindness wasn't some elaborate plan to do something to her. Being referred to as a fox, she threw a glance towards the male before turning her eyes back to the woman, watching as she moved around to hug him and look over his shoulder at the pot of cooking food. Something other than ravioli? It was safe to assume then that they often ate ravioli if a meal like chicken noodle soup was enough to get them this excited. Not, that she was complaining, she'd take anything at this point. And despite having had a filling meal the night before, she was more than ready and eager to fill her stomach again. After all, once she departed there was no telling when she'd be able to have another meal.

Jinx rested her head on Finn's shoulder for a moment before taking a whiff of him. "Oh my god did you finally shower." She said playfully, shoving his shoulder a bit before moving to sit next to him. He chuckled in response and grew a little red from embarrassment, but after all, they were surviving out in the woods, showering was not a main priority. "Yes I did, and peeyew, somebody smells like they haven't." Finn joked back, although she probably did need to have a shower. "Ugh I know, I'll shower after food." Jinx replied. He glanced back at the girl for a moment before returning his attention to the soup, that was probably now scalding hot. He took it off the fire, giving it a quick stir before setting the pot in front of Jinx, she gets first dibs. Jinx picked up a spoon, and got a spoonful of soup, blowing on it quite a bit before eating it. "Yum." She said quietly to herself after swallowing. She then continued to take slow spoonfuls, since she had to blow on them a lot. Finn watched but also watched the fire. "Okay, that's it for me. Time to shower." Jinx said as she handed the spoon to Finn and stood up. "Thanks for food Diaz." She then said as she quicked grabbed a bar of soap from her bag and left the warehouse. Finn eyed her down, watching her intently as she walked away. "Hm, here." Finn then said, setting the dirty spoon down and getting a different one. He then put the clean spoon in the pot and set it down in front of the girl. His gaze then turned towards the fire, watching as it slowly died.

Aleria could see that this guy and the girl he was with were close. Hell, she was pretty fucking sure a blind man could see it. The way they spoke, interacted, looked at one another. All of this she took in, a raised brow and a gaze holding a hint of interest. Getting involved with people was dangerous, especially when you were on the streets, and yet these two seemed to be good friends. Interesting. Still saying nothing, Aleria turned her blue gaze to the put of food when the male reached for it and offered it to his female companion. She swallowed at the act and, not wanting to appear too eager or starved, she forced her gaze back to the fire. To say the urge to look, to watch each spoonful the woman ate, was strong would be an understatement. It was downright agonizing, and embarrassing. The fact that she found herself worried over how much food would be left for her, when in reality these people didn't owe her anything and didn't need to feed her. Shifting where she sat, Aleria drew her knees up to her chest and, wrapping her arms around her knees, refused to let her gaze stray from the fire. Until she saw the pot being set down in front of her. Her eyes widened slightly and she looked up at the male before down at the pot. "Aren't you going to eat first?" She questioned, confusion getting the best of her. She was an unwanted guest, and this was their food, she'd been expecting to get whatever scraps were left, so being given a pot of food with still plenty of soup left was surprising.
