The group did pick him up but the house wasn't immediately shot up by Ibex. They still had a few minutes to spare. And besides, no one in the group mentioned Finley since they got to the house sooo, yeah.

Also, I think I forgot to mention this but his Nullification does have a slight side effect of also nullifying his emotions and since he always has it at least slightly activated it adds up. This is one reason for his dulled emotions. The other reason is that since the ability has to recharge but it never gets the chance to do so(since he always has it slightly activated), it recharges by giving him moments where the world is literally in shades of gray and where emotion is completely gone from him. |
