ah yes, like when a manipulative character with years of practice targets them and they respond with "She could hear the nervous quiver in their voice, like they knew they were on thin ice. She knew they were trying to manipulate her" not only controlling what the other character did and thought briefly but also asserting that your character is invincible and boring- |
