Finn was surprised when the male before him said thank you. He looked up at him through his lashes, smiling a bit. He didn't let him catch it though, he quickly looked back down and continued to gather the garbage from the bandaids. He got up, making brief eye contact but not saying a word. It was when he turn that he quietly said, "You're welcome dickface" When his face wasn't in the male's view, a smug expression was planted on his face. He finally said thank you, which he should have said much earlier, but at least he said it now. Finn chuckled a bit to himself as he walked away. He threw away the trash, put the first aid kit back, and made his way over to the girls. Both of them had left once they noticed Finn wasn't paying any attention to them. "Im so fucking proud of both of you." Finn spoke, pulling Jinx into a hug and kissing her on the forehead. The hug was quick, and he was quick to do the same with Aleria, just without the kiss. "Well, Im gonna take a shower." Finn stated to both of them. He wasn't about to walk to the river, so showering her was the plan. He threw a glance toward the male he had just tended to before walking outside. ' He got undressed and started the water. He got into the shower and closed their makeshift curtain. All of the shower products were usually left in the shower, so he looked around for a bar of soap. Once he found one he used it to scrub his whole body down. The last time he showered was a couple of days ago. Even though they had the river and makeshift shower, they had to ration their cleaning supplies. His shower only took about 10 minutes and he had to use his shirt to dry off since it was colder now. They have gotten a bit more clothes since then, so he had a warm hoodie inside if he needed it, but with the fire, he most likely wouldn't. Once his lower half was dry, he put his underwear back on along with his jeans before making his way back inside the warehouse. His gaze immediately went to the male for a split second before focusing on the girls. They were sitting by the fire, eating, and so Finn decided to join them. After all he was starving.

Raihn was at a complete loss forward when the guy, after getting the trash from the bandaids gathered together, spoke. Dickface? Is that what he had just called him, seriously? And after he'd swallowed his pride and thanked the guy? Narrowing his eyes into a scowl he huffed and looked away, his green gaze falling to the fire and the two girls sitting beside it. He watched as the guy approached them, listened as he spoke, and took note of the way he interacted. Jerk. He thought as he watched him a moment longer before he turned his gaze to his foot. He didn't need or want to pay attention to the guy, or either of the two women that were so very obviously companions of his. He all but ignored, the guy saying that he was going to shower and instead drew in a breath. He could tell his foot was badly swollen and could see the redness of the swelling and the telltale signs of a bad bruise peaking up out of his black sock. For several moments he was still, simply observing, as if doing so would magically make the pain disappear, the sealing go down, and cause the bruising to fade. Then, finally, steeling his resolve he leaned forward and carefully began to pull his sock down, over the heel of his foot, and then off. It hurt, god it hurt but he refused to make a sound, refused to let the tears that stung at his eyes fall. ` When the sock was off and he was met with the sight of his ankle his breath caught in his throat, lodging there and refusing to move. It looked bad. It was the gentlest of terms for it. It looked fucking horrible. There was so much swelling it reminded him of those scenes in cartoons when the characters would swell up like a ballon from some injury or some type of allergic reaction. It was like seeing one of those scenes in real life, experiencing it on his own damn foot. When he'd first allowed himself to be brought here, Raihn had hoped that he would be able to leave in a couple of days but the odds of that happening when his ankle looked this bad were slip. Honestly, he wouldn't have been surprised to learn that he had broken it. Clenching his jaw he leaned back and brought the sock he still held to his lip. His gaze never left his foot though, his eyes taking in the sight of the swelling, the redness, and the horrible bruising that encompassed it.

As Finn moved to sit by the campfire, he couldn't help but glance at the male every now and then. What more could they do for him? He might be able to find pain meds somewhere, but he assumed he wouldn't be able to. It was worth trying though, Finn though. Maybe if the guy wasn't in so much pain he wouldn't be a dick. Yeah, that sounded like a good idea, and so Finn stood up. "Im going to try and find pain meds." Finn spoke quietly to Jinx and Aleria. He first searched through Jinx's and his tent, through their bags and then moved to Aleria's. He found a pill bottle and shook it a bit, there was still quite a lot in it so he read he label. Ibuprofen, is perfect. A big smile grew on his face for some reason as he stood up with the pill bottle. He quickly walked over to the male and grabbed the cup next to him that he used to fill up water for him before. He then went back to get some water before returning to him. He made sure to fill up the cup to the brim. "I've got some pain meds, you should feel a bit better after like two of these." Finn said, showing him the bottle so that he would know he wasn't drugging him. He then opened it after the guy had gotten a good look, he popped out two and handed both to him. His eyes then wandered to the guy's ankle, and holy shit. "Shit." Finn said as his eyes slightly widened. He winced at the sight of it, it was gross and a bit much for Finn.

Raihn didn't pay much attention to the two women or the guy who had helped him. They were steering clear of him, and honestly, that was fine. He didn't need to have anyone trying to be his friend or anything else for that matter. They likely weren't working for the people who were after him, but that didn't mean they wouldn't try turning him at the moment they found out that he was on the run from the law. His face had been all over the news for the past couple of months. A cop killer, that's what they were calling him. It was devastatingly smart as far as he was concerned. For the cop and those he worked for chasing after him, how much easier would it be to have his whereabouts tracked and turned in if the world that he was someone who had done such a horrendous thing? Cops hated cop killers, civilians hated them as well, and so by labeling him as one, they had effectively ensured that there was no escape for him. Even if he fled the state, there wouldn't be any safety for him. In fact, he was pretty sure he'd be worse off than he already was. ` Raihn was pulled from his thoughts when he noticed the guy making his way over, a pill bottle and his cup of water in hand. He looked up at him in slight surprise and confusion before listening as he spoke. Pain meds? He didn't need to be told twice, and the moment two pills were offered to him he quickly moved to take them. Popping them into his mouth he grabbed the water and without hesitation took a big swig of the cool fluid. As he did so, he found his gaze not leaving the male, he watched him look towards his foot. Nearly flinched at his curse, and then glanced down at his ankle after seeing the look of disgust on the guy's face. "Gross huh?" He said, fully agreeing with the male's unsaid thoughts on the sight.

Finn looked back up at the guy with a disgusted look on his face, simply just nodding. It looked familiar though, Finn had a really bad sprained ankle once as a kid. He knew what he looked like and how long it lasted, though he didn't remember the pain much since it was a long time ago. "Im no doctor of course, but from the looks of it, it seems to be a really bad sprain. I had one once, and it looked similar to this. Don't take my word for it though." Finn said as he began to stand up. "Would you like any food? There's some left in the pot?" Finn asked, trying to be as nice as possible. He still was a little salty about the interaction earlier, but they seemed to be doing a bit better now. He glanced back towards Jinx and Aleria. They were both getting ready for bed, so he thought he'd better join them soon. Right now though, making this male comfortable was his top priority even if he didnt like him very much.

Raihn wasn't exactly offended by the look of clear disgust on the guy's face. He was fairly certain if their roles were reversed he'd likely be making a similar expression. Silently he watched him and then listened as he spoke, suggesting that it wasn't broken but actually just badly sprained. "Let's hope your diagnosis is right." He said with a nod. Perhaps it was because he wasn't in as much pain as he had been before, and perhaps it was because he was exhausted, but the coldness that had originally accompanied his voice had disappeared. In its wake was a pained and tired tone. When the guy offered him food he paused and tossed a glance towards the pot and the food that it apparently still held before shaking his head. "Thanks... but I'm not exactly hungry." He said, and that wasn't a lie. The pain he was feeling, though lesser now than what it had been, still had his stomach turning with nausea, and the very thought of food, of trying to eat, had him feeling as though he were going to be sick.

Finn just nodded and then began to walk away. "Just holler if you need anything." Finn said. He then went into his tent, rummaging around to find an extra blanket. Since the guy wasn't anywhere near the fire, and he assumed he wouldn't be moving with his ankle, he was definitely going to get cold during the night. They also didn't have an extra pillow for his head since the one he was using for his foot was Finn's. "Of course, you had to use my pillow for his grubby foot." Finn said quietly to Jinx. "Anyways I'll be right back for bed." Finn assured, grabbing the one extra blanket they had and exited their tent. He then made his way over to the male, throwing the blanket at him when he got close enough. He then turned around without a word, he had already done so much for the guy, he was done for the night. When he arrived back at the tent, he moved to lie down quite closely to Jinx so they could share the pillow. He knew he'd end up with no pillow, but he wanted it to fall asleep.

Raihn looked at the male and gave a nod when he spoke. He'd nodded but honestly, he had no intention of calling for him or anyone else if he needed anything. Relying on people was dangerous, and he'd already done more of that today than he had the past several months. Drawing in a breath he held it a moment before looking away and towards the fire. It was going to get cold tonight, of that he was sure. Considering the time of year, and the breeze outside a cold night was to be expected. The realization had him wishing he hadn't abandoned his bag, his supply of food, clothes, and blankets in the escape that had taken place that morning. Moving to fold his arms over his chest he was about to try and get as comfortable as he could when he noticed the male returning a blanket in hand. He paused when it was thrown at him, wincing when it made contact with his ankle before he moved to unfold it and lay it out over himself. He let his green hues flick back towards the tent where he'd noticed the male disappear into and shook his head. He'd have to thank him for this tomorrow, the way he'd given it to him could have been better, but he was to relieved and grateful to have something to help keep him warm to think to much on that.

Finn wrapped his arm around Jinx as she laid on her side, her back facing him. They were really close but it wasn't anything new. Soon enough Finn drifted off to sleep. The nights were much colder now, but with the fire and the extra blankets they had acquired over the months, they were fine. When they are able to hunt they'll be able to use animals pelts if it got to that. They just needed to figure out how to properly skin an animal for that, but for now, they were fine. ' The next morning, Finn was the first to wake up, per usual. To his surprise, he managed to keep his head on the pillow. Jinx had also managed the same. He gently lifted his arm off Jinx and moved to exit the tent. The sun was just about done rising so he assumed nobody else would be awake except maybe the stranger. Finn hoped he'd be gone, but knew that was highly unlikely with his injury. When he got out of the tent, he was not surprised when his eyes fell onto the stranger from yesterday. The fire had gone out, which was a bit weird, but maybe considering Finn's attention was on the other male most of last night, he'd forgotten to add more wood. He moved to grab some wood placed it in their campfire, and got another fire starting. He'd wonder when the male would leave, since it's an extra mouth to feed, that was his main concern. His girls came first, not that dickwad. He shook his head to himself before getting out breakfast for the morning, more soup. Tonight they were eating good though, he was thinking of cooking up one of the rabbits the girls caught. He sat down in front of the fire, the flames warming up his bare chest. He picked at the fire with a poker before opening some soup cans and getting them ready to be cooked.

It had taken Raihn far longer than he cared to admit to get to sleep. He wasn't sure when he'd nodded off, only that when he awoke the darkness of night had disappeared and the light of early morning was now gracing the earth with its presence. Biting back a groan he lifted his head and blinked a few times, his green hues quickly moving about the building before landing on Finn. He watched the guy work at getting another fire started and then prepare to cook some type of canned meal. For several moments he was simply quiet, observant, and taking in everything he could before he cleared his throat and moved to sit up a little more. Instead of saying anything though he moved to pull the blanket off of himself and, more importantly, off his ankle so that he could get another look at it. The moment it was revealed to him he frowned, he hadn't expected it to look any better than it had last night but fucking hell it looked as though it were worse. The only plus, he figured, was that it seemed like the swelling had gone down sometime throughout the night. Not bothering to look Finn's way, Raihn reached forward to lightly touch his ankle, as if trying to feel for or gauge any sign that it was broken though he fully believed, and hoped, that it was simply one really bad sprain and nothing more.
