ACTIVITY STATUS: Open/closed

Greetings, reader. With my recent itching for RPs, I've decided to make this forum just to fulfill that need. Everything here is what you need to know about me as an individual, a writer, and a RPer. I'd recommend you check back every once in a while as my rules and standards may change, or maybe I add some plots. That being said, I'll just get on with it.

Rules/Regulations/Preferences

*I am not super picky with my partners. I am always open to adjusting or helping someone who is new to the RP universe and such, though I will not be settling for someone who can only push out 150 words or less per post. I find it hard to work from, and as someone who tries to be detailed, I find it a bit unfair. I'd like to see some sort of effort. My own minimum is 500.

*I only write in third person and past tense. While my partner does not necessarily have to match this, it is a huge preference though not a deciding factor. I understand that some people enjoy first person more, which is fine with me, but I find it harder to write that way personally.

*Do not make romance a main subject. If there is romance involved, I prefer slow-burn, or for any relationship honestly. None of my characters will ever just 'click' with someone else unless it has been established beforehand. I normally prefer platonic to romantic relations between characters, though if a dynamic is interesting enough, I can be swayed.

*I expect at least one post a week. I always have life getting in the way, which is way more important than an online wolf SIM game to begin with. As long as you communicate with me and relay to me that you may not be able to post that week, wish to drop the RP, etc, I will not be bothered at all. I'm quite understanding that way. However, if you do not reach out, I normally consider a RP dead if there has been no responses to the RP or my PMs for a month. If you decide you want to start it back up again and PM me, I may be hesitant if I was ghosted.

*These should go without saying; no Gary/Mary Sues, characters constantly stealing the spotlight/running off, characters with traumatic backstories that are always reused, etc. Characters mean a lot to me. The plot can be the most boring thing in the world, but if the characters are good, then I normally go with it. But if your characters fall under this category then... we're not going to be a good fit.

*Speaking of characters - I normally lean into the realm of character-driven or character heavy topics. I like when the plot is open and there's a number of characters. I can handle up to four, though that may be overkill for a 1x1. I'd prefer if you can manage at least two, that way we have different dynamics and avenues we can fork off into if need-be.

*I love world building. I'm always open for any suggestions we can add or create to make our RP come alive even more. Do not be afraid to reach out in general! I almost always prefer having contact outside of the RP with my parnters as I believe it helps with chemistry within the RP as well. I don't bite :)

*I'm not a huge stickler on things like character sheets. As long as you have a good enough outline of who your character is, I really don't care. I just want enough to be able to decide how my own would interact with them.

*I only RP in forums.

Topics

I'm pretty much open to anything. I don't currently have any huge plots. The following is what's currently interesting me (off the top of my head. Don't be afraid to throw some at me during discussion if you're interested).

*Medieval with dragons. Maybe dragon riders? Maybe dragon riders but from the perspectives of the dragons? Or anything medieval. The good old-fashioned arranged marriage and then having an affair will always be a top choice for me, cliche or not.

*Apocalypse. That's it.

*I have a deep love for fantasy sci-fi... Like Avatar. You know, the big blue people. I think something like that would be fun, but obviously not fandom for the sake of rules.

*Anything supernatural. Demons, angels, vampires, werewolves... you name it.

*Anything, honestly. Never be afraid to post your own ideas and suggestions because I will more than likely love it.

Hello!

I am looking to start up a 1x1 RP and think we could be a good fit. I personally write around 300+ words per post(baseline), but can easily go upwards from there based on muse and the scene. I like to have an element of romance in the RP but as a subplot. You prefer slowburn, and I am totally cool with that. I like to see how our characters grow over time and become connected. I prefer writing in 3rd person and past tense as well.

Something I really would like to explore is writing for several characters(which is hard to do in a 1x1 but I like a challenge). You did mention that you can balance a few, so I'd be interested. I am thinking we can have one main pairing, then the rest are side/supporting characters. Maybe even our side characters can become a couple if they mesh well enough. I just think using multiple characters adds more depth, and can be a nice variety which is not possible in a strict 1x1.

I am down for doing medieval-ish plots, corrupt royalty, rogue knights, dragons, illegal magic, you name it.

I also like doing a good wolf based RP as well.

I could continue to spew some ideas if needed to.
