Sky watched Alex, admiring him. Humming in response, he looked forward as he began to think. Sky wanted to drink more, but he knew he couldn't. With drinking off the table, he began pondering some more. "I'm not sure." Skylar said after a long moment of silence. "What about you?" Sky asked, turning to face Alex once more. His eyes stayed on Alex's, only momentarily falling down to look at his lips. A smile subconsciously formed on Sky's face, and he could feel his cheeks getting slightly warmer. He licked his lips slightly before hitting at his bottom one. A small smirk began curling at the corner of his lips, finally looking away from Alex.

Alex let his blue gaze remain fixed on Skylar's own as he waited for an answer. He listened to him hum in thought, and then when the answer to his question came, he arched a brow. "You aren't sure?" He questioned with a hint of amused interest in his tone. Then he saw the way Sky's green hues dropped to his lips, how he bit at his bottom lip, and his cheeks began to redden slightly. Smirking Alex hummed and smirked slightly in response. He felt a sting where the cut in his lip was, but ignored it. Instead, he leaned towards Skylar a little and let his blue eyes mimic the movement of Skylar's gaze. Dropping down to his lips, he gave a slight shrug. "I have a few ideas on what we could do." He answered after a moment, his voice low. He let his gaze remain on Skylar's lips a while longer, and he looked back up at him.

Skylar kept his eyes locked on Alex. When Alex leaned in, Sky leaned in ever so slightly after. He watched as Alex's eyes fell to his lips. He couldn't help the smile that was forming on his lips. Smirking, he bit his lip again. "Oh yeah?" Sky questioned, raising his eyebrows for a moment. Sky could feel a kiss coming, but he wasn't going to go for it. He was going to let Alex make the next move. Sky slightly cocked his head to the side, glancing down at Alex's lips. Looking back up into Alex's eyes, he let a smirk rest on his face.

Alex was aware that he was acting far more confident and perhaps even rebellious than he had before. After what happened last night, it should have been the opposite; he should have been reluctant to be anywhere near Skylar, more fearful of the consequences of his actions of skipping school would be. Last night had been an absolute disaster in more ways than one, and yet, at least for right now, he found that he didn't care. Perhaps it was shock, or his attempts to push aside the embarrassment, the shame, and the self-loathing that last night had ignited within him, but he didn't want to think about his parents, and certainly didn't want to make himself care about following their impossible rules. He only wanted to focus on Skylar, on those beautiful green eyes, and that smile of his that almost always had butterflies taking flight whenever he saw it. Seeing that smile now, watching it turn into a smirk had Alex fighting the urge to close the distance and kiss him right then. Instead, he restrained the urge and let his own smirk remain on his lips as he gave a slight nod. "Mhm." He hummed. "Kissing for starters." He answered, purposefully letting his voice drop a little lower as he glanced down at Sky's lips once again before looking up at him.

Sky was a little surprised by the way Alex was acting. He expected Alex to keep his distance today, and maybe for the next couple of days. It was very surprising, but Sky of course didn't mind it. He was glad, he didn't want to lose Alex. After hearing the way Alex's voice got lower, Sky's mouth slightly parted. "That sounds pretty good." He responded, his voice equally as low. He dropped his gaze down to Alex's lips, biting back the urge to kiss him. His gaze lingered for far too long before returning to his eyes.

Alex forced his gaze to remain on Skylar's as he waited for an answer, though the temptation to glance down at his lips was strong. When he heard his response and how the tone had matched his own, he paused, only for a second, and then he smiled. There was a sting in his lip from the cut, but he paid it no mind. Instead, he watched as Skylar's green hues seemed to drop down to his lips, and he could see it, the desire to kiss him. It was present in the way he was looking at his mouth as if it was something he wanted to claim as his own, and how his lips parted ever so slightly. Swallowing thickly, he let his blue eyes drop to Skylar's mouth, feeling that same desire coursing through him, and then he was moving. Without hesitation and not allowing himself a moment to second-guess what he was doing, he leaned in and, closing the distance between them, pressed his lips to Skylar's own.

Sky could feel his heart beating faster. Watching Alex's every move, he began to lean in once Alex did. He closed his eyes and then moments later he felt Alex's lips on his. Kissing him back, he brought a hand down to rest on his thigh. He smiled against the kiss. All of his thoughts were completely disregarded, all he was thinking about was Alex's lips.

Alex could feel his heart begin to thunder within his chest as if it were some kind of war drum when his mouth met Skylar's, and then when he felt his hand moving to rest on his thigh. How many times had they kissed like this? More times than he could count, and yet it always had him feeling just as he had that very first time when they'd both been high and hidden away in one of the upstairs rooms in Bev's house after attending her party. His cut lip protested sharply at the kiss, but Alex was determined to ignore it. He refused to let it take away from this moment, from the kiss, or from the comfort he got at simply having Skylar at his side. Letting his own eyes fall closed, Alex turned to better face Skylar as the kiss continued. He moved one hand to rest on the mattress between them and let the kiss deepen ever so slightly as he did so.

Skylar felt the way the kiss deepened ever so slightly, but it wasn't enough for him. Leaning in further, he deepened the kiss even more. Gripping Alex's thigh, he moved it further up his leg once he let go. Halfway through the kiss, Skylar realized that Alex would maybe be able to taste the alcohol. He worried him, but not enough to keep kissing. He assumed that maybe Alex already tasted it and he was choosing not to say anything. Skylar didn't know but he wasn't about to ruin the moment by stopping. Picking up the pace, he moaned softly into the kiss. It wasnt loud, but they both clearly heard it. Skylar didn't stop, instead he smirked against the kiss and felt his cheeks getting warm.

The moment that Alex had kissed Skylar, he had tasted the alcohol; how could he not? After last night, he should be upset, furious even, especially considering Sky had promised him that he wouldn't drink anymore, but he didn't care. No, all that he cared about in that moment was Skylar, the kiss, and the way that his hand moved up his thigh. When he felt the kiss deepen and then begin to pick up its pace, he made no attempt to stop it despite the injury to his face or the pain the kiss was causing to his cut lip; instead, he followed Sky's lead. When he heard the moan, the sound, as soft as it was, cutting sharply through the silence surrounding them, Alex felt his breath catch in his throat. His heart seemed to stutter inside his chest as well, and he soon found himself responding to the sound and the increasing heat of the kiss by nipping gently at Skylar's bottom lip. As he did so, he was moving from the edge of the bed to straddle Skylar's lap.
