So, I have an idea in mind, I’m going to try and explain it as best as I possibly can.

There’s no name for the roleplay itself, other than it’s centered around Mermaids, Pirates, and the fight between the two. Mermaids want to protect the ocean, the pirates want to capture the mermaids and the treasures within the ocean. Nymphs are likely going to be a neutral party, they can either support the mermaids or be off to themselves. There’s four pods of mermaids in total; Coral Mermaids, Reef Mermaids, Open-Water Mermaids, and Coral/Reef Nymphs. And obviously there’s also humans, the pirates.

Coral Mermaids

Id like to think Coral Mermaids would have more vibrant tail colors that would match the coral reefs, they’re generally more bubbly and approachable, are the mermaids pirates typically manage to capture.

Reef Mermaids

By Reef, I mean Rocky Reefs. They would actually have more greener-pale tails but still dull and darker than Coral reef mermaids. Typically don’t go near boats and ships, they stay hidden.

Open Water Mermaids
Could look like anything. These are mermaids either rejected from their pods, have escaped captivity, or just don’t have a pod in general.

Coral/Reef Nymphs

Typically more aggressive than mermaids, attacks ships and boats if they get near their territory. They look more like statues, if that makes sense? They blend in with their surroundings a lot.

i have some stories with sky pirates, others with regular pirates, and some really annoying mermaids. I think it would be cool to try something like this
