Dude, both of them could do it. Bernard is great at comforting people and just overall being there while Chester is so calm and collected as a whole that he could probably manage it just with his mere presence, honestly. He just has that kind of aura. The kind that says, 'I accidentally comfort and calm people in high stress situations just by being in the same room.'

Long story short, Vikar did have a family, but they were mistaken as regular wolves and hunted down by some humans. He survived a bullet wound and was taken in by another human, but then the human sold him for profit. Luckily, he escaped and made it to the school which he deems as a safe place. Now he's pissed that humans showed up in his safe place. Lol |

So, on one hand- Vikar may like Bernard because he's a pretty muscular dude too and loves keeping in shape and whatnot, plus he'd be able to push Vikar and all that. On the other hand, he's human and pretty darn emotional. - With Chester, the two would probably get along practically perfectly. Chester would push him to actually show off his intelligence, show good little quiet spaces, and overall just be the quiet and less emotional guy that Vikar may need. Also would totally be able to reign in any violent urges Vicky may have from time to time. On the other hand, Chester's sometime compulsive lying and apathetic nature may get in the way of real bonding. - Man, why can't we just choose Vikar to go after both and the two work out that they're fine with sharing him based off of when he needs someone more than the other. Curse my ability to make strong but realistically flawed characters. |
