What happened? Why is she bleeding?

Came home and go to take care of my chickens. One is laying on the ground and looks dead. It seemed off for it to be dead though not only because they had food and water but it also looked fine this morning. And one of the other chickens kepted nudging it. A chicken died before and it was best friends with our black chicken. No one was standing around her when she died so it seemed wrong for this one to be dead. So I called her and she lifted her head a little and looked at me. I went to take her out and the black chicken grabs the other chickens comb in her beak and tries to pull her out of my hands. So I shoo it away.I get my dad not sure what else to do. He said he doesnt know what to do. Hes not the chicken expert. So chicken is in ruff shape. Got some feathers ripped out, guessing lost a lot of blood can barely stand or move and doesnt want to eat or drink. She is now in a tote with chicken bedding outside and I dont think she is going to make it since I cant bring her inside.

Wait dad! Why cant you bring her inside cant you take her to the vet?

Maybe because a lot of people don't want to bring in chickens that could have lice, have a virus and possibly get it inside of the house, the chicken could poop everywhere, or the landlord won't allow it.

My parents don't like when the chickens are inside. I had a baby inside before because it was a baby and was dying. The baby died. and the one from above died last night so yeah. I have had 4 chickens die on me in less then a year. six if you count the two my sister took from us as healthy chicks and not even a full 24 hours later they died.

We had foxes break into out chicken coop, and kill 4. Then some large bird took two. Is was weird a random because it had never happened before, it hadn't happened since, and we didn't know of birds big enough in our area that could do that. THEN my neighbour's dog killed my cat, THEN they killed my prize winning buck (male) I was so mad and sad. That was 1-3 year(s) ago. A few nights ago the dogs bit my sisterS. Yes, SISTERSSSSSS. Two of them. They weren't badly injured, and I think only had a small wound. The dogs were seen on our lawn again but our other neighbor's dog (Sailor) chased them away because he is the only good doggo of our neighborhood.

All the dogs on my street are good dogs. Sorry about your Buck and cat.

thanks, i have gotten over it though, luckily...

I havent gotten over any of my dogs that died or chickens. I am traumatized by dead animals so I still get nighmares about them.
