Or you can just space out the link so it doesn't turn into a link. Just tell people to remove the spaces.

Customs are just links, but the links are really long. If you wanted you could recreate your wolf in the custom maker. |

Yes, but the traits wouldn't be visible, like vitals, etc. (Although I could just list the traits)
