Appearance:
When looking at Salen, it’s possible that one may need to stop and do a double take. Not because of outstanding beauty or because she’s ugly- But because she’s not anything extraordinarily beautiful like her eldest brother. She’s… Actually fairly modest looking. She doesn’t try to look overwhelmingly beautiful. She allows her natural looks to shine through most. But she is a beauty. Perhaps because she doesn’t try, or perhaps because her natural beauty goes beyond what some people are able to achieve while trying. And it’s obvious that she doesn’t.

Salen stands rather short compared to her brothers at 5' 11”, though she sometimes seems 6’ 0” due to how correct her posture is. She takes great pride in herself, and her kingdom. Though she never seems snotty in doing so, her manners make that seem impossible for her. Her body structure could quickly be described as an hourglass figure. Everything about her structure screams that she’s more so built for agility than muscle. Her skin tone is a fair tan color with warmer undertones. She has plenty of freckles on her cheeks, though not many elsewhere.

Salen has a heart face shape, meaning she has a smaller chin, the middle of her face larger, and the whole thing on the longer side. Now for the nose, she has a duchess shaped nose, meaning it’s practically the stereotypical normal nose. Her lips are fuller in shape. Almost always, she has soft and kind smiles on her face, and a polite look in her eyes.

Her eyebrows are rather average in thickness, with a less obvious arch that instead allows her to keep her expression neutral easier. Finally, her eyes are an upturned monolid shape and are a light brown near the pupil but get darker the further away, framed by dark lashes that accentuate them with an almost elegant look. Her face is framed by jet black hair that has a slight wave to it as well as if the oceans at Kagha’s shores were there instead. It goes down to the middle of her back whenever it’s down. Usually though, her hair is up in a loose ponytail that keeps it out of her face.

Something that is strange coming from a woman born and raised in Kagha, is her hands. While they are most certainly smoother than either of her brother’s, they do hold some callouses. Ones not from fighting though, ones from a musical talent of playing a fretted string instrument. More specifically, she can play the dulcimer.
Aroma: Salen’s scent is as if someone decided to grow flowers by the beachside. She smells of an ocean breeze- Slightly salty, fresh air, sand, and water filled with minerals. But she also smells of daylilies, sea thrifts, and yarrows.
Voice: Salen’s voice is smooth and elegant, like velvet and satin. She can bring in a crowd simply by projecting it to be heard. It’s how she’s made such a name for herself, her voice and her knowledge. She can practically hypnotize people with her voice.
Handwriting: Her handwriting, as one could expect, is messy cursive. Only, it’s messy to the point it’s beautiful. Somehow it’s completely legible too for most people, though it probably shouldn’t be. Honestly, the messiness is due to the fact that she has a faster hand than most when it comes to writing. If she slowed down, it would without a doubt be a sharp and elegant cursive.
Handedness: Right-Handed.
Attire:
When it comes to jewelry, Salen is simple. She doesn’t wear rings, she doesn’t wear bracelets, she doesn’t wear anklets, and she only wears simple gold lobe earrings. They aren’t long, they aren’t shaped in any certain way- The gold earrings are simply circular studs. As for necklaces? She has only one that she wears everyday, and refuses to accept any other ones. The one she wears is a gold chain one that has a circular charoite jewel framed by gold as the pendant. The top of the pendant reaches down to the top of her sternum and is only an inch in diameter.

As for clothing? There’s clothing for when she’s relaxing and clothing for when she’s going out or to be seen in public. When relaxing, she wears a simple lightweight, red gown with gold accent lacing. The sleeves are long and flowy, and the gown goes down to her ankles. With this, she’ll usually wear sleek leather laced boots.

When in public and keeping up reputations though, she’ll wear something much more fancy. A gold, form fitting gown that becomes more flowy near her kneecaps/popliteal but still reaches almost to the floor. The sleeves are still long and loose, flowy, but the neckline is low enough for the necklace she wears to lay against her skin. The trimmings of this dress is of the same purple of her charoite pendant. With this, she also tends to wear elbow length or longer white gloves with gold trimming. For shoes, she wears black, pointed, leather dress shoes.
Physical Health: Salen is in great shape, if we’re being honest. She has slight muscle tone in her arms and core from holding up her instrument, along with good leg strength from pacing in her room while reading. She rarely ever gets sick, if we’re being honest.

Personality:
At first glance, she certainly looks put together. The type of person you look at and assume has their life together. Whatever that entails to you. She seems composed but approachable. She looks professional.

She is very well educated, and has in-depth knowledge on an array of subjects. Even better, she’s persuasive and charismatic when getting points across, able to turn a whole room to her favor in a matter of minutes. And she’s definitely one to keep a promise. She’s also modest though, and never takes full credit for anything.

To say she has a lot of ambition would be an understatement. She’s upfront and direct but still polite about most everything. She’ll rarely ever lie, if at all. Though, when she does, it’s practically impossible to tell. She’s always working, always pushing, and certainly always trying to help. And almost no one is able to stop her, not because she’s stubborn or even because she’s royalty… But because she’s assertive and can make people listen to her when she believes in something with her entire being.

She’s also a peace-keeper, always trying to keep people from fighting and arguing, as there isn’t really a point to doing so. Not one she sees. In order to do this more efficiently, she has regulated her emotions a bit more than she perhaps should but everything’s well that ends with nobody fighting each other. That’s how she sees it at least.

Salen is very well-mannered too, of course. It’s practically impossible to see her mad and know it. Because even when she is, she’ll still be kind and polite. Something that is highly respected, no doubt. She’s responsible, respectful, and can easily find ways to state her opinions without fear of stepping on people’s toes.

Appearance:
Blair stands at the rather average height of 5' 7”, though he sometimes seems 5’ 6” due to how slouched his posture can be. He doesn’t see why he should waste energy on standing at attention, not when shorter people can get around easier in the shadows anyways. His skin tone is a bisque color with neutral undertones. He has plenty of freckles too, which at least add some color to his light skin.

Blair has a diamond face shape, meaning he has a smaller forehead and a smaller sharp chin, the middle of his face larger, the whole thing on the longer defined side. Now for the nose, he has an aquiline shaped nose, meaning it’s basically the stereotypical normal nose. His lips are thinner in shape. Usually, he’s seen with a light scowl on his face, eyes narrowed and skeptical.

His eyebrows are rather thin, with a less obvious arch. Finally, his eyes are a downturned protruding hooded shape and are a deep, forest green color framed by thick lashes that help with keeping things out of his eyes. His face is framed by curly, fiery red hair that has a slight poof to it. It goes down to the middle of his back when it’s down. Usually though, his hair is up into a loose ponytail or low man bun.

His body structure could quickly be described as rectangular. Everything about his structure screams that he’s more so built for agility than muscle. For scars… Blair has a few that are rather well hidden. A few on his back, a few on his shoulders, and a few at his sides. He doesn’t really show them to anyone nor does he have any intentions of ever doing so.

He also has quite a few tattoos. A rose vine tattoo going up his right arm and an hourglass tattoo at his left forearm. And recently he’s gotten five new tattoos for his left hand’s knuckles. The letter C at his pinky, L at his ring finger, J on the thumb, R on the index, and S on the middle.
Aroma: Recently, Blair has started to smell more of pine and redwood. More specifically though, burned pine and redwood. Being from Frain, he doesn’t want to completely let go of his destroyed homeland. With most people there smelling of burning cedar, he’s decided to get as close to the smell as possible with burned wood from Orin. Underneath this though, Blair also has the slight scent of a flowery meadow and trees after a good rain.
Voice: His voice constantly sounds hoarse and rough, even if he’d had something to drink right before speaking. It’s not even exactly low or high in pitch either, or deep. When it comes to speech patterns though, he does tend to use a lot more slang than the average person.
Handwriting: Everything is a skewed version of cursive where the letters bleed into one another but still almost look like print. Every letter is a little too sharp, a little too dull, a little too fast, a little too big, a little too small. Surprisingly enough though, his handwriting is still eligible like this.
Handedness: Ambidextrous, predominantly left.
Attire:
When it comes to jewelry… Blair has plenty that he always wears. Such as a lobe piercing on each ear where he wears small gold earrings, ones that can’t get stuck on anything. He also has two rings that he wears on either middle finger. One ring has a band that looks like vines with a singular ruby gem at the middle, entwined in the gold band so that it doesn’t come out, this one is worn on his left. The other is longer and wraps around his finger multiple times, it looks like a feline’s claws.

As for clothing? When outside of training and battle, Blair wears a simple white tunic, black trousers, black hunting boots, and a black trench coat. As for when he is at training, he’s in yet another white tunic, but now green pants and his special Orin boots.

As for when he’s preparing for battle? Lightweight armor is what he wears over a black tunic and black pants. And, of course, the special Orin boots. This is to optimize stealth and agility, and his armor has several spots to carry daggers. Both throwing ones and ones to be used up close. Completely normal for the Orin army. Something that is a bit different from the rest of the Orin soldiers for him though, is that he also has a place to carry a chidori jumonji yari. Which he holds the most skill in, actually.
Physical Health: Blair, as a Knight, is of course in prime physical condition. He has toned muscles, sharp reflexes, keen senses, and rarely ever gets sick. Being from Frain where it was cold enough to freeze daily also helps with his body being able to handle the cold better and not be so quick for fall/winter allergies to bother him.

Personality:
At first glance he looks shady, the kind of person you would’ve seen in an alleyway at night for reasons unknown to most other people. Though, quite honestly, those reasons are probably not what you think they are.

The first thing someone should know about this man is that he is hard to catch off guard. He has the sort of air about him that he always knows what everyone and everything is doing, even if he doesn’t. He’s usually calm and collected, being able to think in high pressure situations in order to stay alive. Which is another thing, his self-preservation seems to outweigh his morals which can cause his plans to only help him when he might’ve been able to help others too. But he’s independent and values being able to do what needs to be done without worry of how it affects others.

On the note of what has to be done and planning… He never actually goes through with an underdeveloped plan, there’s too many risks involved in his opinion. Risk is one thing that he deals with poorly, if he believes the risk of failure is too high then his self-preservation tends to kick in, regardless of whether or not the risk is actually that high. This is something that doesn’t only apply to plans to dangerous things though, if he believes a conversation or emotional/personal bond with someone is too risky, then he hightails out of that too. For that reason, he doesn’t actually have that good of relations with anyone he meets.

Despite his risk factoring though, if there’s something going on and he has a plan that he believes will work then he becomes extremely determined to make sure it happens. Willing to take as many risks as needed to make sure he actually gets to go through with his plan. He’ll call people out, lie, cheat, steal, and perhaps even kill if it means his plan is able to go on without a hitch. Of course though, his carefulness is still a thing and he tends not to share anything except for the bare necessities.

And that is where things take a turn for the worst. Due to his self-preservation, apparent lack of morals, and social skills that leave him alone and others in the dark… He’s become rather distant, disconnected from others and the things that happen to them. Empathy and sympathy have evaded him almost completely. For those he finds himself getting attached to, he tries to distance himself from them due to the risks of getting too close during times like these.
