Thoughts on the Gargoyles:
Every being deserves empathy and compassion no matter who or what they are. The Gargoyles are alive and therefore deserve the same respect I would give to any living creature.
Appearance:
Mist has blond hair that falls in waves down her back to about an inch past her shoulder blades. She often uses a cloth to tie it back when working, but normally she leaves it down. She is about 5'3" and weighs about 115 pounds. She has a rather average build and normally just wears darker brown dresses along with an apron to try and keep the stains to a minimum. Her apron has multiple pockets which she uses when collecting herbs, either from the woods or an herb garden.
Mist's eyes are a cheerful light blue. Her skin is covered in freckles and is more than a bit tanned. She has a faint scar under her right eye from a sharp rock that was thrown her way as a child. Her hands are callused from working with them all day. And despite her best efforts, there always seems to be one stain or other on her somewhere.
Personality:
Mist is a kind person who very rarely loses her temper. She is quite forgiving if she thinks you are actually sorry and doesn't hold on to grudges. She is very open about her feelings and her face is something of an open book. She has a lively sense of humor and often makes light-hearted jokes at her own expense. She loves animals of all shapes and sizes and wishes she had a pet of her own. The only time she is ever strict is when she is giving instructions to a patient.
However, if Mist is pushed too far she becomes downright terrifying. Up to a point, she will forgive almost anything. However, if you threaten those who she feels responsible for, well they say that those who know how to put you together also know how to take you apart, painfully. Very little shocks Mist. Having been a healer's apprentice for the past 5 years has made her pretty much immune to being grossed out. She can look at even the most grievous wounds and all that crosses her mind is how to fix them the best she can.
Skills:
Healing- If it can be healed by herbal medicine, she can most likely take care of it. The only reason she is not a full healer is that her mentor doesn't want to retire yet. She is more than ready for the title.
Gardening- She can grow her own herbs, as well as some basic vegetables.
Good with animals- Most animals trust her, even wary animals tend to take to her faster than most people
Good with children- Mist is very good at keeping children calm and getting them to do what she wants them to do.
Emotional intelligence- She is very in touch with her emotions and can often help others figure out what they are feeling and how to deal with it.
