Dislikes: he dislikes the Sun brood because of their big egos and the fact they are the opposite of Shadow dragons

He is able to control the shadows and have them take on creature form though this takes energy

Zombie Master: He can control the undead though it takes lots of energy for him to keep them in check
Black Hole:
Creates a black hole that sucks in enemies around him all Shadow dragons are immune
Shadow Travel: when he is in the shadows he can teleport to anywhere he wishes if he uses it too much he becomes exhausted
Shadowfire: He can breathe black fire
