Appearance

Akeena has a medium frame, standing at about 29 inches at the shoulder and weighing roughly 115 pounds. Her build is a bit more on the lithe side rather than being bulky. She is still pretty strong though, her agile frame is wired with lean muscle. Akeena's pelt is a mix of rich greys and browns. Her muzzle, maw, throat, and underside are all a light cream shade. A soft brown color works as her base coat, which is layered over by a deep grey color along her back. The same charcoal shade highlights her haunches, shoulders, tail, chest, and forehead. An orange auburn color also paints her fur near the back of the neck, ears, and top of the muzzle. Her eyes are an intense deep amber color.

Personality

Akeena is a determined individual. She is strong willed, meaning that when she puts her mind to something, it is often hard to change it. She doesn't like giving up easily, and will often fight for what she believes in. She doesn't care too much about what others think of her, unless there is a stupid rumor going around. In that case, she doesn't mind bluntly confronting them about it. Her bravery and ability to stand up for herself or others can be admirable. Akeena is not the kind to be shy about things. She usually has no issue with stating facts or her feelings.

Level headed and witty, she is good at making decisions, even on the fly. The beta won't be indecisive, especially if a decision needs to be made quickly. She is able to weigh out different options and plans and choose the best course. However, she is also a bit of an overthinker and when things are said and done, she may dwell on them afterwards and mull over the details to herself. Analytical and a perfectionist, not much gets in her way except for herself.

Akeena is willing to give newcomers chances, and she can also give others second chances. She believes that wolves can change if you give them the chance to. However, if her trust is broken too many times, she will eventually be wary of you. Though, with enough manipulation, she can let someone back in who has hurt her before. She often sees the best in others, and she often places guilt on herself for not offering opportunities.

Akeena is extremely independent. Almost to a fault. She likes to do things alone sometimes, even if they are dangerous. The female is capable of a lot, but sometimes even she can slip up. And when she does, she finds it hard to admit that she should have asked for help. Asking for help is hard for her. She takes awhile to learn to rely on others.

Caring and protective, she will always put others first. She puts the pack before anything else, which is why she was elected beta in the first place. But when she isn't busy with her duty, she likes to find time to relax and let loose a bit. It is surprising to find that she can be a bit silly and playful even.

Appearance

Vera mostly has a long black pelt. It's darkest shade paints her face and chest. Along her back and sides, lighter brown fur speckles her body in a unique pattern. Her eyes are a deep orange shade. Vera stands at 30 inches, maybe being a little taller than the usual female. She is 110 pounds, being lightweight and lithe.

Personality
Conniving, sneaky, sly, manipulative, selfish, egotistic, arrogant, sharp, power hungry, extremely particular, defensive,
Vera is a force to be reckoned with. The female is conniving and sly. She always has a trick up her sleeve and is not willing to give up easily. Risks don't scare her. Honestly, not much seems to scare her at all. If anything, she feeds off of fear. It wakes her up and feeds her adrenaline. If there isn't something on the line, she isn't having fun.

Manipulation is her middle name. She is able to feign any emotion without much effort. In this sense, she is dangerous. Able to slip into character seamlessly. What makes it worse is that she enjoys playing with others. Toying and controlling others is just one of her fun past times. That is, only if she has time between her master plans.

Selfish and egotistic, the high prophetess puts herself first. No one else is as important as her. The entire world evolves around her, in fact. Or at least, that is how she views it. To her, nothing else matters. One of the best ways to get into her good graces is to treat her like a queen.

She is also pretty particular. Vera likes things a certain way, and if they are not done that way, she will not be happy.

Appearance

Scarlet has a unique appearance, almost looking like a fox cross. It is considered a rude remark though to call her one. She definitely won't appreciate it. Her fur is amix of russet, cream, and black. The cream fur is mostly on her belly, inner legs, and muzzle. The rich russet and auburn tones dress the majority of the rest of her pelt with black fur running down her spine to her tail. She has murky yellow eyes. Scarlet is considered a bit small, standing at 26 inches and weighing around 90 pounds. She has a very lithe body structure, made for running and agility.

Personality
warm, kind, compassionate, little snappish, short patience, temper, can be bossy, mischevious, elusive, a bit distant, in tune with feelings, easy to talk to,
Scarlet is a warm and kind individual. Being the healer of the pack, she fits her role well. When she tends to her patients, she is gentle and caring. Her focus is entirely on their care and wellbeing, as it should be. She enjoys her job and gains happiness through her role. Nothing makes her happier than helping others. Thus, she is selfless and quite compassionate.

She is very in tune with emotions of others. Scarlet can usually tell when something is wrong(not just physically). It is as if she has a sixth sense. Of course, she doesn't pry too much, but don't be surprised if she asks about it. The healer is easy to talk to as well, as she is a good listener and might be the closest thing to a therapist, even. Scarlet has a gift at sorting through feelings and desires of others. She can usually understand the deeper thoughts and motivations of other wolves.

While she is known to be kind, she also has a snappish streak. When she is stressed, the female can lash out. She has a short temper and if someone gets on her nerve, expect to get scolded or snapped at. On top of that. she also has little patience and expects things to be done in a correct manner. Because of that, she can also be seen as bossy. But as long as you stay out of her way and listen to her, you have nothing to worry about.

Scarlet is friendly to everyone, but she lacks deep connections with others. She keeps everyone at arms length, afraid of being hurt. Because of this reason, she can be seen as a bit distant emotionally. While she has no issue helping others with their feelings and conflicts, she won't delve into her own or disclose her own feelings or issues.

The healer is also a bit michevious and elusive. Scarlet likes doing her own thing, even if it keeps others in the dark. Because of this, she can be seen as a slight mystery sometimes by some.

Appearance:

Hawk stands at arppoximately 32 inches at the shoulder and weighs around 140 pounds. This places him on the heftier and bulkier side of the spectrum in terms of build. The wolf has a pelt that consists of many shades such as cream, light tan, grey, black, and a soft light amber color. Most of the fur that runs along his stomach, inner legs, and top of the head are a light cream. His long and pointed muzzle is a stark white, often a bit tinged with red blood from a recent meal. At the end of his muzzle is his black nose, matching the dark markings that line his eyes. A soft amber color runs down the very top of his muzzle and reappears near the backs of his ears and sides of his cranium. The same shade also highlights his grey chest and most of his tail and sides of the ribs. Along most of his back, grey marbled fur grows, as well as black which speckles across it. A few highlights of cream also speckle his back. The very end of his plumey tail is a smokey grey. Hawk's pelt is not very long, which shows off his lean but muscular physique more accurately. His eyes are a dark chocolate color in direct light, but otherwise look kohl black.

He has no visible scars, but a few nicks and scratches litter his pelt. Nothing major.

Personality
Hawk is sly, cunning, selfish, and unpredictable. His mix of traits are what label him as particularly dangerous. Almost like a ticking time bomb. The male is driven only by his own desires and needs. He comes first in every single scenario. The world evolves around him, in fact. This doesn't necessarily mean he likes attention, though. The wolf may actually prefer to be sitting quietly in the background, at least before he makes his move. He prefers to observe from the outside so he can make calculations and plans. While he may be impulsive sometimes, he usually is able to delay gratification in order for greater reward later. Thus, he is able to wait patiently for the right time to strike. Just because he isn't actively snarling or making threats, don't assume he isn't busy plotting.

Void of morals, he seems like he lacks compassion for anyone. Hawk would easily take food from a helpless pup. He wouldn't hesitate to push someone into harms way if that meant he survived. No one to him is more important than himself. Egotistical and full of narcissism, he thinks he is above everyone else. He lacks honor and honesty, finding no issue with playing dirty or bending - no, snapping - the rules. Rebellious and independent, he does not care about authority. But that doesn't mean he is dumb. He knows how the pack works, so he doesn't step out of line unless it furthers his agenda. He won't openly go against the rules and risk punishment, instead he would rather do it right under their noses. And framing someone else for it just makes it sweeter.

Manipulative and aloof, he doesn't get along well with anyone. He doesn't keep it a secret that he basically dislikes everyone. Hawk will often do the bare minimum if he must socialize with others. He talks with few words, and he is quite blunt about it, too. He is mostly alone, anyway. And while he lacks any real friends, he probably does it to himself. Cold and harsh, he pushes everyone away before they even get a chance to know his rude and snappish self. Besides, who would want to be around someone like him? It makes it so much easier to already be hated than to long and fight for someone's adoration or respect. If there was nothing there to begin with, then he loses nothing. That is how his mind works.

Thus, he is deeply afraid of losing. Not in a game or competition way, but in an emotional sort of way. Abandoned as a pup, he lacked any kind of parental figure. Hawk grew up with a skewed sense of what good parenting and role modeling was. Because he lost his only connections, it made him quite bitter, and terrified of losing anything else. He hated how helpless he felt, how low and unwanted he was. He vowed to never be that again. Even if it meant never being accepted.

Appearance

Zoran has a large frame of around 33 inches at the shoulder while weighing slightly over 130 pounds. It is easy to tell Zoran is a larger canine, both from his height and weight. The male has a thicker and stronger build, rather than being leaner and agile. This makes him a strong opponent in battle, one wrong move and he will find a way to use his brawn to overpower his opponent. His pelt is also thick and long, adding the illusion that he is even larger than he appears to be.

Zoran's pelt is a mix of brown, cream, dark greys, and black. One could say his base coat is a light brown with a smokey timber shade, laying over his lower sides and upper legs as well as shoulders and haunches. Below that grows a lighter color, looking more creamy toned. The lighter cream fur that grows along his belly is a longer length, giving extra fluff there as well as the end of his haunches. His chest is also highlighted with a cream tone, matching his throat and ridges of his perked ears. Two dots of cream mark where his eyebrows would be as well, right above his unique eyes. Zoran's eyes are rimmed with a deep russet color, which turns into a warm amber and golden color near the black pupil.

His muzzle is also a light timber color, while the rest of his face is speckled with grey tones. His mouth and cheeks are a stark white, usually highlighting his charming smirk he wears. Grey fur runs from his head down his spine, curling in towards his chest in two large stripes to form a ring around his neck. Black stripes also fall along his shoulders and along his rib cage. A tuft of cream fur sits between his shoulder blades. His tail is a large plume of cream with grey trailing across the top.

Zoran has no visible scars.

Personality

Zoran is a outgoing male, often finding it easy to speak his mind. He does it so easily and so brashly that it can seem like he has no filter. But he does, surprisingly. It is just that he rather enjoys speaking his mind and will do so unless there are special circumstances. It doesn't mean he is a loud mouth or unnecessarily chatty though, as most of his words carry meaning and weight. He isn't really into small talk, though. Due to his silver tongue, he can usually spark an interesting and deep conversation in minutes, given the chance. Otherwise, he will simply give a quick hello or greeting and be on his way. Zoran does not like wasting his precious time.

The male is pretty personable and friendly, unless you meet him through undesired situations. Otherwise, he gives everyone and anyone a fair chance at proving themself. He finds it fun to see how fast he can figure out others and their motivations as well as desires. He is quite cunning, almost to an eerie degree. Zoran's sharp eyes carry glints of emotion. He doesn't like to let on more than he knows, at least at first or until he knows he can trust you. Until then, he can play a fool and act like just any typical wolf. Once he decides it is safe to do so, he will let you into his mind just a little more. Layer by layer.

Zoran is also a flirt. It doesn't help that he is a smooth talker, either. His silver tongue mixed with his quick wit and his charm are a dangerous combo, able to tease and charm many. He always seems to have some little comment up his sleeve or in his back pocket that can shut you up or make you stumble for a second. He likes that power, too. How his mere words carry enough weight to make you blink and do a double-take. His flirting can be cocky sometimes, but he knows it. Which might just make the entire thing worse. And on top of that, he doesn't mind a good little chase, either. As long as the target seems at least a little interested, he is willing to pursue.

It may be surprising to find out that he is quite honorable and has a moral compass. Deep down, he is really genuine. He doesn't mean any harm to anyone unless they deserve it. Determined, he doesn't let things go easily either. Zoran doesn't mind putting in the extra effort to ensure things go the right way. It is more rewarding, anyway.

Due to his experiences as a nomad, he is pretty adventurous and knowledgeable too. Zoran doesn't back down from the unknown, and his curiosity can usually get the best of him. The male tests boundaries and his limits.

Backstory
Quite simple, he grew up as a pup in a pack which he soon left once he was able to support himself. Lived on his own ever since.

Appearance

Atlas has the normal characteristics of a husky dog. His pelt is a pattern of black and white, giving him a sharp and clad appearance, almost as if he was wearing a tux. His fur is long, offering a warm coat in the harsh Alaskan climate. Black fur reaches over the top of his body such as his head, back of the ears, back, sides, upper chest, and tail. His nose is also black as well as some markings on his face. Two black stripes run from his forehead down to his nose almost as well as outline his unique eyes. One His left eye is a striking icy blue hue while his right eye is dark brown, making his gaze quite mysterious. White fur covers the rest of his body, auch as his inner ears, face, throat, lower chest, belly, and legs. The tip of his fluffy tail is also white. He stands at 26 inches at the shoulder and is about 55 pounds. He is quite tall for his breed due to his longer and lithe build, allowing his speed and agility.

Personality
Still hyper and quite spry, Atlas is full of energy. When he is on break from working with his sled team, this dog finds other things to do with his time. Whether is exploring the little town some more(which is hard to do, he has lived here his entire life and knows almost every nook and cranny), beg for scraps from the butcher(or that one boy who would feed him those rainbow goldfish), play in the snow with his friends, or maybe sweet talk the local females. Now, he may sound a bit childish, which he definitely can be, but don't get him wrong. Atlas is capable of being serious and goal-oriented as well. The dog enjoys working towards a goal(such as sledding) and putting in effort. Determined and brave, Atlas doesn't back down from challenges easily. It is just that when he is on break, he enjoys to let loose a little bit. This can be refreshing. Atlas almost has two sides, like a coin. One part of him is serious and even stoic, while the other can be almost a playful pup.

Atlas is well known in the little town, too. Social and able to mingle, he finds it easy to weave between crowds and meet others. He is the opposite of shy, as he is quite bold and straightforward. The husky likes have control and being in charge of situations, but he can also let go of the reigns if he knows someone else can successfully lead instead. Due to his silver tongue and ability to make easy conversation, he can be quite the charmer and flirting can be his second language. He doesn't try to mess with hearts, though. Atlas is not the cold manipulative type at all. In fact, he can be compassionate and protective over his friends. The dog is more than willing to lend a helping hand when necessary, and even when it isn't necessary, too.

Atlas is easy going and optimistic. When he lends his bright perspective, it can either lift the mood or support someone in need. He is more than willing to lend a helping paw if need be, too. The dog is not afraid of getting a little dirty or sweaty to do it. In fact, he really doesn't like the pooches who live the easy life, warm and on a plush dog bed being fed milk bones their entire lives for simply sitting and looking pretty. To him, life is enjoyable through hard working and earning your way.

The town is going to get through it. He believes that they all need to stick together in order to do so. So far, he is pretty optimistic.

Appearance

Dressed in natural browns and tans of the forest, Nirvana stands at about 32 inches at the shoulder, being a little taller than the average female and she weighs near 100 pounds. Her frame is taller rather than thick and muscular, which gives her a thin, agile, and tall figure. Her lean limbs are enough to propel her through the forest at high speeds while also being lithe enough to make sharp turns.
Her fur is mostly black and grey near the spine, base of the tail, shoulders, and head. White tufts of fur are sprinkled along her shoulders and haunches, where tan fur begins to cover her frame. White, creamy fur grows in at her belly and throat.

Personality
Nirvana is very independent and can be considered a free thinker. She doesn't like being told what to do all the time, and will almost always think things through until she is satisfied. And when she isn't satisfied? You will know about it. Unafraid to raise her voice, she lets her opinions be known. Not in a bratty kind of way, though. She is quite witty and smart and can even be funny, too. So when she snaps back at you, she will likely use her wit to mock you as well. She doesn't mean any harm by it, of course. But hey, if you're offering a stupid idea, isn't it her job to let you know how stupid it is? And to poke fun at it? Poking fun and making jokes makes her criticism go over smoother, or at least, that is what she hopes.

As said before, she has an independent streak. Nirvana has the attitude of "if you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself". Thus, she can be found roaming around alone quite frequently. While this can be seen as dumb or maybe even aloof, she isn't helpless. Her quick thinking allows her to maneuver her way out of situations usually. And if it doesn't? Well she isn't going to go down without a fight. You can bet that she will do her hardest to bring you down with her.

Now, Nirvana can be perceived as a little brash, which she is, but she isn't particularly mean. She doesn't try to hurt your feelings, but your feelings may just be collateral damage. And if that is the case, she is probably sorry about it, though she finds it hard to apologize when it is her fault. She has a decently sized ego and pride, and she doesn't like being knocked down a peg.

Pretty mischeivious and mysterious, she doesn't like letting others know too much about her or what her next moves are. Some may think that it's a safety thing, always being two steps ahead. But really, she likes to be considered mysterious or tricky. Being well read isn't interesting to her. Others who are open books seem boring to her, almost. Things that allure her and attract her are mysteries and things that don't quite make sense. The quieter ones who sit back before speaking and seem to have some kind of glint in their eye are the ones whom she finds most appealing. Thus, she mirrors that. Getting to know her might be difficult, but it would probably be the opposite of boring or easy.

Nirvana also sticks to herself most of the time. Some would be shocked to learn she runs with a pack, as she is almost always seen alone. It isn't that she doesn't like company, but maybe she hasn't found the right kind yet. She has had thoughts about leaving her useless pack and striking out on her own. It isn't that she doesn't want to share her life with someone, it is just that she hasn't really found anyone worth it yet. Once she becomes invested though, she will be forever by their side.

Stance
The town is.. interesting. The dogs are probably going to die if they aren't helped soon. Does that mean she has to be the one helping? Probably if no one else will do it. Heck, even if someone else did it, they wouldn't do it right anyway. Oh, but she doesn't feel a certain way about the dogs yet. Really, this whole tragedy is just interesting to her and helps her curiosity. Until she becomes invested.
