Yeah, I actually would have thought there would be some coding involved to avoid same attribute clashing boosts+defect wolves. But I guess not, or it was never brought up, or dismissed as "player
made preference". I havent been active so I missed alot. It is interesting to hear peoples thoughts on boost+defect wolves and how they handle clashing combos. /positive by the way

How could it be that her sister would just get murdered like that? Her suspicions kept drifting back to the vampires, but they too seemed confused on what's happened. Hearing whispers within the neighborhood on the crucial event that recently occurred didn't set her mind at ease, and looking at her wedding ring didn't help with it. She was anxious, and she could've sworn that she saw shadows following her wherever she goes. Unless she was going crazy...that is a possibility. Her unique teal colored eyes glisten with worry, and her lips thins. Someone clears their throat to gain her attention, and she pulls herself out of her thoughts for now to listen.

"Alpha Diadora. We've been patrolling this route for hours now and see nor smell nothing. Can we go home?" Travis says, while Dia examines her little pose and she nods her head when she notice how tired they all seem to be. "Get some good rest. You all deserve it." The death of her sister placed all responsibility onto her shoulders, and her parents can't take the position back. Her mother isn't mentality well at the moment, and her father is too sickly to lead. It was all up to her and she was completely alone. Shifting into her wolf form, her coat of gold glistening under the moonlight and she dashes off to the location of an abandoned warehouse. The only true neutral zone between the werewolves and vampires.

She leaps through the broken window, shifting back and fixes her black leather jacket. Her hair of gold tied in a ponytail, and fainted scars decorated her tanned skin. "She told me to meet her here and now I wait." She scoffs a bit, "She better not take long. The shadows are quite unwelcoming of late."

Nori watched from her perch from above as the silver lighting from the moon allowed the people below her sight, or those that had bad might vision at least. For the girl, seeing easily despite the cloak of midnight upon the city came rather naturally, and she took that fact with much pride despite knowing her father also possessed sharper sight. Compared to a werewolf though, her vision and depth of the world must be nothing since they could probably see things from miles on end inside of where they dwelled and their sense of smell and hearing would also aid to that fact in their favor. To why she was out here in the first place she wasn't exactly sure. Was it because she had finally gotten fed up with her family? Always expecting her to be someone she clearly is not, giving her mannerism and the teachings of someone of the male gender while she clearly was of the opposite. It wasn't like she had anything against that, it was just sometimes she wished she could also bathe in the common joys that girls her age normally got to see and do, and dress up as

It was a little infuriating at times, and while sometimes she would bask in the sense of being treated like a guy and raised to rule like one, she wished at least every once in a while they would stop and consider getting her something a bit more ladylike. Another reason she could be up here, perched upon the tallest of buildings inside of the city while she knew there was a war? The assassination, or body at least, of her older brother that was found after weeks without any sign of contact from him. It was unsettling if not horrifying, to see the blood and state they were both in and the thought to who could have possibly killed the two newly wed couple kept her up at night sometimes. While they mainly accused the werewolves for the death, would it be so hard to consider a vampire committing some sort of treason? While it was a little out there, it wasn't completely preposterous of a thought. Or so she hoped. Perhaps she was just asking for something exciting to happen other than watching the battlefields get bloodier by the day and the piles of bodies start to stack higher while she sat by and idly did nothing. Maybe she was tired of being cooped up in the city and wanted some more adventure, something more action packed or to find some meaning to the rank she currently held. What would her brother even say to such a thought as this? Perhaps he would brush it off or tell her she was silly, that "Nora you can't possibly be thinking of such a thing?" Or the usual laugh and brush off of her emotions. As much as she loved him, he could certainly be a prick sometimes.

No, she wouldn't allow herself to keep circling back to that. What happened had happened, and she was determined to try and make things right, to put an end to this meaningless bloodshed even if that meant proposing a political marriage to stop this war. These were her subjects now, whether they goddamn liked it or not, and she wasn't about to let some soldiers die over a very stupid cause however important or gruesome and sad the deaths had been. Standing, Nora clutched her black colored cloak that was clipped around her shoulders closer to her before jumping off from the top of the building she stood upon and closing her eyes, concentrating on the feeling of wings upon a smaller form and bam, she had transformed into the tiny form of a dark grey colored bat with bright Ruby colored eyes that could be considered eerie to some. Batting her wings to allow herself to keep afloat and not become a pile of the floor, she soared over towards one of the last remaining neutral zones and with a small pop sound transformed back into her human form as she zipped into an abandoned warehouse through a cracked open window. Landing, she spread her arms out wide like gesturing to something grand behind her and offered a big smile to the girl standing before her. "Miss me?" Nora asked, stepping closer and letting her arms fall to her sides tilting her head a bit to the side. "If you're mad at me, trust me I got here as soon as I could." That was a lie. Albeit a playful one, as she was usually late to places no matter how important unless life or death kind of dire.

"So, how have you been? I have some things I wanna chat about, but we can just keep it casual tonight instead if you want?" Nora lightly smiled, finding a place next to a wall and lightly leaning against it, letting her black cloak fall behind her like a curtain of midnight

Diadora has heard about her spouse's tendencies to be late no matter what the occasion is. Such facts has been proven to be true: their older siblings' wedding and now this. Removing the hairpiece from her hair to let it loose, and her eyes scans the looming darkness of the warehouse. Ugh, they most certainly need to put funds into this place. Her family used to be stable, well, her relationship with her parents that is. Margaret and her never did get along since she was more popular than her older sister. To be honest, Diadora doesn't understand why though. Perhaps it's because Margaret was a party animal while Diadora stays behind to pick up after her sister's slack. However, their negative relationship doesn't mean anything at this moment, since Diadora misses her eldest sister dearly. Not only is she stressing about her pack and her family, now she has to worry about pissed off vampires.

"Miss me? If you're mad at me, trust me I got here as soon as I could." More excuses from her vampire spouse, and Diadora raises a scolding brow in Nora's direction while she kept talking. "You're truly are a professional at being late, my dear. That's something you deserve a couple of handclaps for." Her sarcastic personality coming in, and she clicks the roof of her tongue. To be honest, she doesn't know what she wants at this moment. She did beforehand, but it must've slipped her mind while out on patrol. "Hmm, let's see. I have vampires breathing down my neck, my pack going crazy on the current events, shqdow figures roaming around lately, my parents health not going too good, and now my wife being late as usual." Getting slightly angry, yet it wasn't directed towards Nova. "Sorry, it's just been a lot the past couple of days. We're still recovering from the recent battle and I hope their won't be another one anytime soon."

She locks eyes with Nova's stunning rubies, and her heart hammers in her chest. No, this is nothing more but a diplomatic marriage. Although, Diadora can feel a small connection with Nova, but she doesn't understand why. "Anyways enough about me," quickly changing the subject for it to not be carried on, "and lets discuss on what you want to talk about." Sitting down on a crate, jumping off when she swore that a bug crawled on her hand, and her face wrinkles in disgust. "When we have the funds I'm so going to upgrade this disgusting place."

Sorry for the wait!

"You're truly are a professional at being late, my dear. That's something you deserve a couple of handclaps for." Nora giggled once hearing Diadora's remark, despite the clear sarcastic tone she had used and decided to brush it off rather than dwell on such a fact. Now probably was not a good time for silly theatrics and teasing remarks when something dire was happening between the two kingdoms, when war was happening and people were dying before her feet and she could do little to nothing except perhaps a political marriage with her a Diadora no matter how much anybody would protest. If it put a stop to the fighting, then she would take it wholeheartedly and she had to admit over the course of time she had developed a small fondness for the werewolf where she would always get engaged with conversations or find herself taking it easy and a bit more silly in her company

Nora gave a small bow to the beautiful werewolf at her sarcastic remark before standing upright again with a small smirk though it quickly falling. Wincing after hearing her list off the problems she was currently facing, the vampire stood straight and dawned a bit more of a serious look humming in small thought. "That sounds rough, no worries. You have a right to be mad. I'm upset at my good for nothing parents always choosing what I have to be, what I absolutely have to do right at the moment and always glaring down my shoulder. It gets tiring after a while." A small pause followed suite as Nora thought for a moment before her head suddenly snapped in her wife's direction with alarm clear in her eyes. "Hold on, forget about whatever I wanted to talk about and some upgrades to a disgustingly horrible meetup place that cannot be sanitary in any kind of way. Wait what do you mean "shadow figures roaming around lately"? Wha- who? What?" Nora gave a concerned look Diadora's way as she made a step forward a little bit. "You're okay right? Are your villages or settlements or whatever still standing? No attacks of recent?" Some kind of dread started to crawl into her heart as Nora thought of the scenarios and possible similarities between this. Recently, one of the Vampires own towns had gotten attacked and by the time some willing arms got there the whole place was up in flames, consumed by a vibrant scarlet and dashes of fiery orange and bright yellow throughout. Little casualties happened thankfully, but a lot were injured and her parents had been worried sick and more snappy than usually afterwards. What if another happened?

What if this connected to the whole starting a war and the killing of Diadora and hers siblings? "Who the hell wants more chaos and bloodshed than there already is and is probably currently laughing coldly as they casually sip some sort of 200 year old wine from a glass while lounging in a spinny chair in some tall building overlooking everything?!" Okay yeah maybe that was a stretch. Wait she said that last thing outloud didn't she? Nora felt embarrassment creep up on her as she gave a small sigh and looked to the side to try and calm herself down. Everything would be fine. Maybe. She hoped. Possibly... That didn't help. "Maybe we should come back to this another time?" She finally piped up after a moment of her being quiet, thinking over some scenarios and what was currently happening

Diadora's brows were still heavy, eyes showing clear disappointment towards her in-laws, and she wasn't even bothering to hide it this time. When Nora steps closer to her, a soft smile appears on her face, although a mischievous glint appears in her eyes. "Nora warming up to me? My," she too, takes a step towards Nora, "the tides have most certainly changed." Eyeing Nora up and down, and raises both brows towards her concern towards the shadow people she's been witnessing. "Indeed I have, but they're not doing anything. Just watching and being creepy." A shudder came across her, wrapping her hands over to both her elbows and knitted her brows again. "They don't smell like werewolves. Let alone have the cold presence of a vampire." She thinks about the culprits who could've done this, then a thought came to mind, "Hmm. We have grouchy elders from both sides who don't like change. Oh! The latest reports of Hunters roaming around in other states. Not to mention a witch has come to our beloved city." Just the thought of the culprits made her worry increase, and she shouldn't have said such things because it'll only bring dread to her mind for the rest of her night. Let alone make Nora's mood feel any better this night, and a forced smile appears on her face. "Although cliche it may be, it might be a possibility. With someone sitting in a chair, tall building, and something about wine, I mean."

A thought came into her mind-a good one this time, and this time a real smile appears on her face. Grabbing onto Nora's cold hands that she was used to touching, twirling her thumbs over her knuckles, "We could always rent out a place together. Just you and me with a couple of our trustworthy kin." Leading her out of the warehouse, pulling her into the alleyway, and was holding her hand firmly. Hand and hand as they walk along the sidewalk, eyes staring at the moon, and her smile never left her. "Not only will it show unity, but it'll be for both of our safety too. It'll be easier to monitor the progress on both sides as well and help each other out." Head moving to face the vampire, tilting her head and her diamond eyes containing joy. "You can get away from your parents, while I can...well...be with you." A faint blush on her cheeks, but upon clearing her throat, the blush went away. "That's if you want to, of course." Intertwining her finger with hers, finding strange calmness in doing so.

It was nice to change the topic, especially if it helps their mood a bit. Not only that, it helps distract them from the death of their older siblings. Which is something she's not trying to linger on too much, and the reason being is her relationship that was terrible from day one with the dead alpha. "You know-," staring at the night sky, "-we never been on a real date before. Let alone a proper honeymoon trip. I understand why they wouldn't allow us, but they should've at least planned something for us to do something together to bond even more." Clicking the roof of her tongue, something she normally does when something or someone is troubling her. "We didn't even speak to each other after the wedding, yet we have rings on our fingers." Speaking of which, she lifts her hand with the ring on it, a playful look in her eyes. "Did you get it hexed so I can't take it off, darling?" A playful question to her wife. She pulls Nora even closer to her side when a night patrol was in the distance.
