Adaline I Female I Second in Comand I Mentions: Ollie (Dir.), Ben (Ind.)
Adaline just rolled her eyes at her brother. It was his own fault that he had given the position up. She turned back around when he mentioned Ben. She didn't like that at all, how dare he insult the guy she likes. "I'll do whatever you have planned. For such a crappy person you are you can surprisingly make a semi-okay plans I guess. And don't you dare insult Ben again. My personal life is none of your damn buisness, so f- off already." She paused, turning to walk out of the tent. She paused for a moment, looking back over her shoulder at him. "I hate you do damn much. Sucks you got moms looks, you don't damn well deserve anything from her." She spat, turning and walking out. She sighed, pinching her nose when she stopped a few steps outside the tent. Her shoulders slumped, not really wanting to go after Ben anymore. She walked over to a tree and leaned against it. She didn't like being around Ollie, he was obnoxious and she couldn't help but see their mother in him every time she looked at him, and it was painful. Especally considering how he just left them. She shook her head, sighing and closing her eyes. She took off her hat again, holding it against her. "Damn I hate you Ollie." She muttered under her breath, gritting her teeth. She pulled out her hunting knife, looking at the blackened necklace.

Hickory "Gunshot" Jones | Male | Member | Everyone in camp, Roxie Dallas thundered through the forest, shoed hooves clattering on the barren ground. "Easy there." He patted the stallion's neck. After riding for five days straight? They were both tired. Yet they were in the final stretch; after at least a day of being tracked by wolves, the canines were finally thinning out. There's gotta be less near the camp. It'd been at least a few weeks before he'd seen another person.
That was likely a good thing- the sheriff couldn't find him. Not that he couldn't be found if someone tried, but at least he'd made it here. And he'd bagged a couple wolf skins on the way. The night before, he'd had to wrestle one for Dallas. Wolves ain't gettin' my horse. It'd been far too long since any of the gang had seen him. What would they think? Would they even be surprised to see him. Likely not. He pushed his hat down, leaning forward as if racing. In a way, he was excited to arrive. Seeing his gang- people who lived like he did, who didn't despise him- would be a good refresher compared to the wanted posters of him up in town.
"Hyah!" He flicked the reins, feeling the drumming hooves. Even after this long, horseback riding was always thrilling, would always be exhilarating. It'd likely remain a favorite of his the rest of his life. Tha's a good thing. Dallas twisted through the trees slowly, long legs accustomed to running on the flatlands. "I's a'right, Dallas." The deep rumble of his voice seemed to echo throughout the small area he was in. In response, he could almost see the wolves snarling from a few feet away. Get to the camp. If he remembered right, the camp was fairly close- he might be able to find the tents when the clearing got close. But, damn, it was deep in the woods. Pulling Dallas to a stop for a moment, he drew out a flask of whiskey and took a swig. He leaned forward, pouring some out into the horse's feed bag lying on his neck and moving it to wrap around his muzzle. That'll keep ya livin', Dallas. Settng it aside, he casually returned to the reins. "Let's get to camp now, ya hear?" His horse obliged in kind, trotting forward with a new spring. Whiskey does the trick, now. After a short while, the trees thinned, opening to a large clearing. By this point, Dallas was galloping, clearly glad to see some form of sustenance and friendly faces. Gunshot hardly noticed when he almost ran someone over. "Whoa there!" Rearing back, Dallas gave a loud whinny before lifting to show the person practically under him. His hooves landed near her feet, clearly lacking care for safety. The bronze-colored hair. Icy eyes. He could never forget that face.
"'Ello there, Roxie."

[ Roxie Sweet ] | Female | Member | Mentions: Hickory | - Roxie continued towards her tent happily. Finally, she got Ollie to do something fun with her! She had always known Ollie would come around eventually even if the others didn’t think he would. A lot of the others didn’t think Ollie had much of a heart but Roxie knew deep down that Ollie enjoyed being in the gang very much and she was very happy that he finally decided to get out of his stone-hard shell for a few minutes. But suddenly she looked over as a large horse reared up right in front of her. She took a few surprised steps back at the sight of the horse that had almost run her over. “Who the hell-” She then looked up as the man said hello. “Uh, hello there… wait a moment… Gunshot, is that you? You scared the hell out of me!” She said, with a slight grin at the sight of her old friend. “Haven’t seen you in a very long time, have I? Where’ve you been all this time? Still running from the cops?” She hadn’t seen Hickory in such a long time and it felt like she hadn’t seen him in forever. It had gotten more boring around camp than it had already been without him. Two good things happened to her in one day. Ollie finally seemingly perked up and ol’ Gunshot was back. At least her day wasn’t all that day, judging by what happened this morning with her horse dying and her not being able to catch a single animal. But now she would be getting a new horse and an old friend.

Diamond Calden I female I Member I Mentions: Jesse,Slicker - Diamond gave Jesse a small smile before she heard Slicker."Oh hi Slicker"she simply replied towards the male. She watched them and smiled at Snapple. Diamond had to choke back laughter when Slicker swiped Jesse's hat.She shook her head and a grin spread across her face.Diamond turned her head to watch Smoke. The mare was pulling at some leafs on a small tree pulling at the branch. "What do horses think?""Why did I eat a leaf yesterday?""What will the weather be like tomorrow?"Diamond thought to herself as she just stared at Smoke. The mare stopped pulling at the trees branches and looked over at Diamond.Sge trotted over and nuzzled the female's face."Hmm?Oh,no I haven't ate yet."Diamond answered Jesse when he spoke snapping her out of thought.Diamond smiled slightly"Tell me when I am needed."she simply said before walking over to her tent. Diamond crawled into her tent and got her bottle of whiskey and started to drink some of it.She suddenly screamed"Smoke!Get your head out of my tent!"as the paint mare's head made its way into the tent. Diamond pushed on the mare's head,as the Smoke backed up Diamond fell out of the tent."Damnit Smoke...."she growled and stood before patting the mare's neck.As she looked around and huffed. She walked back into the tent and grabbed the whiskey bottle again."Good thing I can handle alot..."Diamond chuckled to herself before taking long drink."Ahh~"she breathed out once she swallowed.Diamond grabbed a carrot and placed it outside of her tent and Smoke immediately ate it letting out a happy nicker.Diamond smiled to herself as she took her white fringe jacket off and set it down before sitting down taking another long drink from the whiskey bottle. Ben| Male| Member| Mentions: Adaline Roxie and Hickory|
Ben saw Adaline leaning against a tree, the rain had slowed down a lot more so he ran up to her. He smiled "Well, we can go now if you want..." Ben said. She looked angry, she had her hunting knife in her hands, "What happened?" Ben said when he saw how angered she looked. Ben thought it might have been Ollie or Roxie that made her mad, those were the only two people in the gang that she despised. Ben heard the familiar rumble of horse hoves hitting the ground, Ben looked behind him and saw Roxie laying on the ground and a horse standing over her, the rider of the horse had a very familiar face. Ben ran over to help Roxie and greet the familiar face. Ben helped Roxie off of the ground and turned to see that it was Gunshot. " Nice to see ya!" Ben said and he shook hands with Gunshot "Haven't seen you in a while..." Ben said. "You might want to go tell Buddy that you are here, he would probably be happy to see you." Ben said with a warm smile. He remembered when Gunshot used to be in the gang, he seemed like a pretty cool guy when Ben knew him. Ben knew Roxie was good friends with Gunshot so he decided to leave the two to converse alone. Ben walked back over to Adaline and stood next to her for a few moments and waited for her to decide weather or not she wanted to go with him.

Adaline I Female I Second in Comand I Mentions: Ben, Hickory (Gunshot) and Roxie
Adaline was still upset with her brother when Ben walked over to her. She shrugged when he said that she looked upset. She hated going into it, she really just hated her brother with a passion. She sighed, leaning back futher against the tree. She heard hoofsteps suddenly. She froze, looked to see Hickery, or as he went by his dumb nickname, Gunshot. She though that was such a dumb name. The only reason she had kept her weak name was because of her mom. She watched the scene play out, not really caring. She knew as she second in command she should be there greeting him and making sure he felt at home, but she didn't really care. He was an okay guy, but not someone she was close to or really interesting in having anything mroe than an aquantance relationship. Not even friends. To her surprise, Ben walked back over to her and waited next to her. She looked over at him, her anger starting to melt now that she wasn't around him. She took a glance at the other two and frown, then turned her gaze back on Ben, frown softening. "Ya let's leave. I don't want to stick around them either." She said, small smile appearing on her face. She took her hat off, hanging it on the tree that she was leaning against. She untucked her hair from behind her ear, on the scared side of her face. She left it tucked on the other side of her face though, that's the side she had stuck the flower in. She took a few steps deeper into the woods, looking back at ben. It was weird that she asn't wearing her hat, but she kinda like it. It was freeing. She had holdered her hunting knife, the charm still visable from how it was tucked into the sheath. Her coat was unbottoned as well, she was mostly just wearing it for fear it would rain while they were out there. She waited for Ben, knowing he would lead. She just needed to leave the drama behind, it was all too much for her soemtimes.

Sameen | female | Member | Mentions: Connor (direct) Lotte (indirect) Vera (indirect) ~~~ Sameen exited her tent after it had stopped raining. She briefly glanced at Adaline and Ben taking off for a walk. "lucky girl.." Sameen murmered, for a moment she felt a pang of loneliness, something she didn't feel often. Wish Connor liked me as much as I like him.. That was only wishful thinking, nothing that would ever come true, he was to into Lotte. ~~~ After Sameen glanced away she noticed someone unfamiliar talking to Roxie. "Someone new?" Sameen asked, to herself. Oh well she honestly didn't care, she had other things on her mind. ~~~ She tried to build up the courage to go talk to Connor, Atleast say a simple hi, but Sameen just couldn't. Why is it so easy to take risks, but it's so difficult to talk to people! Sameen sighed, turning to Wildfire. Stroking her she murmured softly, "atleast I have you bud.." ~~~ "I can't stay over here alone forever," Sameen muttered. Slowly she began to walk over to the table where Connor, Lotte, and Vera were. I should forget it and turn back now! Sameen thought nervously. This was stupid! Why was she so afraid of talking to someone! "Alright Sameen, you will do this" she murmured firmly to herself. ~~~ Sameen reached the table and sat down, she felt extremely nervous and hoped that was unnoticeable. "Hello Connor," Sameen greeted, instantly regretting it. I should've greeted them all! I shouldn't have singled him out! Sameen felt like leaving and going back to her tent. But she forced herself to stay.

Lotte Althaus | Female | Member | Mentions: Connor, Vera, Sameen, Asta, Hickory (direct), Roxie (indirect) - Lotte couldn't help but scoff as Connor was immediately discomforted the moment he gestured for Connor to eat and talk to Vera. It was something he needed, and she believed that the both of them were aware of it. Connor couldn't just hang around Lotte, and as much as she appreciated his company, the recent night seemed to be slightly regretted the moment he made an entrance in her tent moments ago.
"Connor, why don't you eat anyways?" She asked, feeling as though he was just hanging around her just because he liked her. Which, to be fair, she appreciated, but still. He needed to branch out of Lotte didn't really want him around... which he didn't know at all.
Lotte watched the younger woman, Asta, approach the area where Lotte, Connor, and Vera all sat before she had simply slammed her obtained dagger into the table. Lotte gave a slight glare at her for her loudness and for leaving marks in the table, but almost everyone did it. A replacement table would be nice, Lotte thought, but nobody would fund it as it was just a table. It's just when the motherly Lotte came out - things like that.
Lotte continued to watch her, seeing her get some of her own food. At least she didn't have to feed Asta like a child, she thought, looking at Connor before her attention went back to the woman as she spoke. "Venison," Lotte replied. "I'm sure we could have some sort of stew for tonight, I'd like to try out the general store's vegetables." Lotte stated, noticing her adjust her bandanna. "You mind explaining to me what that's for?" She asked, referring to the bandanna.
Lotte noticed another woman, Sameen, approach them, but only really looking at Connor. She furrowed a brow at the woman to simply acknowledge her, but payed little to no attention to her.
Lotte's eyes scanned the area as she heard hooves approaching, her attention being removed from the small group and towards the entrance of camp. Lotte squinted slightly, only to see Roxie actually nearby. "No way that's Gunshot," Lotte muttered, simply deciding to leave him. Even if it was, which she assumed, seeing that Roxie began conversing with him like any other day. Yup. Gunshot.
"I hope that no law followed you here, Gunny!" She yelled from across camp, basically announcing his return. She would apologize later on, probably, but for now, a welcome hope is probably what he needed. Edited at June 5, 2021 06:12 AM by Corpses

Slicker | Male | 27 | Member | M: Basically Everyone (Dep) If Slicker didn’t have Jesse, he didn’t know what he’d do. Not only is Jesse a nice comedic relief, but just nice. Even to Diamond. That isn’t to say Diamond didn’t deserve kindness or what have you, but Slicker just was always a tad bit wary of people he didn’t know well. If you think he is being a bit overly cautious with her, then Slicker would instantly protest for a good reason. Before joining the current gang, he hitchhiked with a family for about a week. One night, Slicker woke up to the older sister slitting the throats of her siblings to try to push the blame on Slicker or something crazy like that. Slicker didn’t stick around long enough to find her reasoning. He knew the parents wouldn’t believe him, a total stranger that paid them only a few coins, that their own daughter killed her siblings so he and Snapple bolted before dawn. It takes very little for him to act friendly around people, but to actually trust them is like trying to find a silver needle in a steaming pile of horseshit and sharp nails. You might go through a lot of shit to befriend him but the instant he feels you’ll stab him in the back, he is ready to drop you for dead. So, forgive him for being cautious, but he didn’t trust people easily. Slicker had gone through quite a bit of stuff that gives him trust issues and the family is just one reason. One tiny reason in a sea of problems. Plus, he was sure at least someone here would kill everyone else here in an instant. He didn’t think it was Diamond, but he wasn’t going to cross out the possibility that she’d turn all of them in just for some stray coins in her pocket. Slicker just had to rat out who. Slicker’s trust issues and conspiracy theories are a topic for another day though. “Pffft! Yeah, of course all the ladies would flock to me!” Slicker said through a roaring fit of laughter. He sighed, shaking his head. “What can I say? I’m a goddamn chick magnet! Ladies totally love me, right Diamond?” Slicker put his elbow on her shoulder and smiled at her with his signature charming smirk. He was just kidding around because he knew for a fact that none of the girls, in the gang at least, would ever like Slicker. They were all smart enough to know his tricks or had the common sense to know he never dated anyone. Not ever again. Slicker let out a soft sigh as he took Jesse’s hat off his head. He stopped leaning on Diamond and looked back at Jesse. “Oh the woes of being too damn sexy for my own good!” Okay, now he was just being over dramatic. “Here, I guess you can keep your hat.” Slicker walked over to Jesse and handed back his hat, his signature smirk growing on his face. “I can’t have you gettin’ all lonely and all without me o’ course!~” “Alright, cowboy,” Slicker teased, patting Jesse on the back. “You go get changed, but be quick. I think I am gonna pass out er something.” It had been raining a little by now, small droplets falling from the sky made him question how his cigarette was still lit, but nothing big enough to get as soaked as Jesse somehow got. That man was skilled when it came to getting dirty. Jesus, not like that! Get your goddamn mind out of the cow trough. Either way, however the man got soaked like a trout truly amazed Slicker. Diamond, on the other hand, had walked off to her tent before the conversation could continue. This was a bit of a sad thing for Slicker because he was just starting to enjoy his strange conversations with her. Slicker stared at her tent for a moment before looking back to Jesse. “Aight. Ima head up and reserve both of us a spot and some food, ‘kay? And Snapple,” Slicker looked his horse for a moment before sighing, “just stay with Scamp. Please?” Slicker always talked to Snapple as if she could understand him. Maybe he hoped she could. Snapple shoved her face into Slicker's chest, her sign for face scratches, as Slicker couldn’t help but give a small chuckle. He scratched behind her ears for a little before kissing the star on the center of her forehead. “I’ll be right back, girly, I promise.” Not a second later, Snapple sneezed all over Slicker’s shirt. He only rolled his eyes. “Gee, thanks for the parting gift, girly.” ~-~-~ Vera was looking around the table and even from a distance, Slicker could tell she didn’t like the social atmosphere. Instead of replying or talking to Connor, who surprisingly sat next to her, she just sat there silently as more people joined the group. While most people would assume something someone said pissed her off or she was simply brooding like always, the way her left hand twitched ever so slightly clued him that she was just anxious. Vera had burn scars all along that side and while he hadn’t quite figured out all of her past, he assumed that something having to do with a lot of people who somehow caused the burn marks. It was so strange to Slicker that so many people with such different lives and trauma managed to come together like this. Whatever it was, Vera was anxious so Slicker thought he’d poke himself into the conversation. This will certainly not make everything chaotic. That was sarcasm in case you didn’t realize. “Mornin’ everyone!” Slicker said, sitting down at the table. “Let’s see we’ve got-” Slicker pointed to Connor- “the new guy’s awake, great to see you still alive. Seriously. Do any of you guys remember that one Italian guy? Yeeeeesh… That was soooo much fun to deal with afterwards…” Slicker chuckled awkwardly at the memory. Hoping he didn’t scare Connor too much with the story. “Anyways!! Umm… and we’ve also got the lovely lady who is definitely hiding something behind her bandanna-” Asta was the next victim to be called out and pointed to before Slicker’s attention turned to Sameen- “and Sameen. Mornin’ to the two of you ladies! And of course Miss Lotte!!” Slicker turned and beamed a smile to her. “Pleasure to see you- and your cooking of course- in the morning.” Slicker sat down next to Vera while his grin turned to a vicious smirk. “And how could I forget-” “Lobo,” Vera simply hissed, glaring at him as if he had killed hundreds of puppies. Hey, being angry was better than being anxious. “Good to see you too, Vera.” Slicker chuckled and shook his head. He took the cigarette from his lips and dropped it on the ground and crushed it with his heels. “Well, good to see you guys are awake at least. I haven’t seen about, I don’t know, half the crew this morning, but this is a good start!” Slicker could feel his stomach rumble for food, and as soon as he lifted a forkful of food to his mouth, he melted to the flavors. Slicker was about to take another bite when Lotte said something that didn’t seem to be right at first. Gunshot? Slicker looked over his shoulder and gasped. There was no way it was him. But it was. There he was. Gunshot. Still alive and kicking. That bastard was still alive! Slicker could hardly believe it. “Who in Hell name their child Gun-” “Holy shit Gunshot!!” Slicker shouted, yelling over Vera’s words. “You’re alive! You amazing rotten dickhead, you’re still alive!!” Slicker basically got up and ran through the rain over to him and instantly brought an arm and his neck, forcing the much taller man to crouch while Slicker ruffled Gunshot’s hair like crazy. Slicker was laughing like a madman. “You sick sonofabitch, you’re alive! I- You-” Slicker let go of the man and backed away for a second to catch his breath. Slicker literally just ran all the way over there for Christ’s sake and his lungs were never good to begin with. “I can’t believe you’re alive. Holy hell, I am so goddamn glad you ain’t six feet under, man.”

Asta Shah l F l 24 l member l M: Lotte, Slicker, Vera, Gunshot Still smiling, though less of a fake one this time, Asta became more at home with the setting. She leaned into the table on her left arm, still playing with the fork. While twirling the fork in between her fingers like a pencil, she said, “Thanks, Lotte.” Venison wasn’t exactly her favorite, but still enjoyable, especially if you added in the right spices. Stew sounded nice. “Vegetables?” She pronounced it more as veg-e-table-z. Sure they were good for you, but sometimes the bright colors were hard to get by. Orange and green seemed a bit unnatural for food. Oh how lovely, someone was questioning her bandanna. The dark red color would help with staining and the rain more or less washed some of the blood off her arm. It was still traceable with an uncomfortable feel to it though. “By now you should all know how easily I get cut during practice.” Practice referred to messing around with her swords, of course. While motioning through the air Asta began again, “I get a little...excited, I suppose. Gotta beat up those trees before they beat on you.” That last part was to add a bit of a humorous tone to it as she chuckled a bit afterwards. Ah, how she would’ve loved to do something more productive at the moment. Anything but this uncomfortable topic. While digging her fork into the venison enthusiastically, Slicker arrived. Asta watched as he ran around joking with everyone. She had no idea what they’d all do if he weren’t around to lighten the mood. Maybe something with intense glaring or- No. Hiding something? She just explained this, but here we go again. It was true, but ticed her off a bit. “You’d think a gang would be used to people injuring themselves with all these robberies and stuff. Everyone practically jumping off roofs here.” This was overexaggerating quite a bit. She doubted anyone would actually jump off a roof, but it made a point. Finally he turned to bother Vera. Those two definitely had their place at the table. Although, he dropped a cigarette on the ground in the process of it. She mumbled, “Litterbug,” under her breath. Sure, ruin your lungs and the environment while you’re at it. Shaking her head, Asta tried to clear out the negative thoughts from her head. Being ticed off by something was no fun for her. She looked over her shoulder to see some guy barreling into camp on his horse 100 miles per hour. Gunshot? She’d heard that name before, but vaguely remembered it. He must’ve been someone who used to be at the camp, by the way Slicker was acting. She rarely remembered human beings who hadn’t left her with either a grudge or some other intense feeling. Anyways, this Gunshot person managed to capture her interest.
