Klaus hesitates, still a little wary of this new group. Though... they feel like they've seen a couple of them before. But where? Oh wait! Wasn't Brana the one who was rescued during that snow storm back in december? Klaus doesn't dare ask but their almost certain of it.
"Oh. Um... I'm Klaus." They answer, their tail swaying slightly as they say this.
The sun is getting lower now. They should get to the bakery and then head back to their homes soon. The Nighttarts should be coming out as soon as the sun goes below the horizon... if what everyone assumes about them is true that is.
Ruby giggled pouncing out from behind Klaus and pranced around Suga excited about meeting someone new and possibly making more friends. Stopping when the one named Rose glared at Suga, for a moment she was a little afraid, which made her remember about Klaus's uneasniness when she acted childish. Straightening again she stood besides Klaus and listened as Suga apologized for Rose and then asked if they wanted her little group to join them on trip to the bakery. She opened her mouth ready to respond agreeingly when she closed it again and looked up at Klaus waiting for his approval first.
Klaus wags their tail at the mention of the bakery, finding it amuzing that this cup of Sugarwings is also planning on going there. Then their tail stops moving for a moment. They don't know these newcomers. What if this is a trick? What if they overheard what was said earlier?
Klaus snorts and tries to push those paranoid thoughts aside. Why would they play tricks like that after all? What would be the point?
"We were actually just talking about heading there." They respond to Suga's question. "So yes. I think traveling in a large cup might be wise around this time of day anyway."
As the cup of sugarwings interact Althaea waits patiently. Ears erect and eyes sharp simply watching and listening trying to figure out their dynamic and if it would be safe for them to travel as one cup. She notes the one wearing the bell looks to be blind. A bell. Perhaps a bell could help the poor pink candy sugarwing back at her den that always seems to keep to herself with the bustle of the house? Back to the matter of this cup, while Rose seems very dominant she is not the leader. The one named Suga seems to fill that role, perhaps she is older, or there is some other dynamic she is not aware of. The others seem nice enough, traveling to the bakery should not be an issue as long as they all go their separate ways later on. She gave a small singular nod to herself as she determined what to say and do next. Coincidentally it seemed to coincide with Klaus saying traveling together would be a good idea.
Althaea nods again before saying, "yes! I think thats a fine idea. What are you all hoping is being served at the bakery today? It has become the topic of debate in our small cup."
"I'm hoping they'll have some vanilla mint cake pops." Klaus answers and makes a soft bubbly chirping sound as they think of the flavor.
It's a very smooth tasting pastry that practically melts in your mouth. The hint of cold that's brought on by the mint is really refreshing too. He hasn't had one in a while now so hopefully they haven't become a seasonal thing coming in only with the dead of winter.
"Strawberries are really good. I can't say I blame you." Klaus tells Althea with a light chuckle.
The blue Sugarwing looks up at the sky nervously, noticing how low the sun is getting now. Most other Sugarwings are already heading back to their dens. Only a few strays and a couple of wild ones can be seen roming around now.
"We really should get moving soon..." They whisper to themself.
As they all walk together Taskoe's bell chimes in rhythm with his gate amongst the chatter.
"I wonder if they'll have something cold, like whipped cream?" Brana asked.
"Or perhaps something minty, I like the idea of minty cake pops like Klaus suggested." Cala joined in the conversation.
"Our human often brings little pasteries or cakes home for us, on the odd occasion she'll make them at home too, they smell amazing as she bakes them." Taskoe said with a smile, saliva just about dripping from his mouth at the thought, "I hope they'll have the apple pastries that she usually brings. The one with a touch of cinnamon in it." "You mean the apple turnovers," Kajura chuckled a little.
