Lyric growled once more before finally stopping. "I still don't approve." He told Baelfire. He eyed Echos parents. So they must be the alphas of the enemy pack. He thought. He glared at them once more before turning his attention to echo and then back to baelfire.

Baelfire turned around. "You don't have to approve. You just have to support us and be on the same page with something." Bae said and walked back over to echo ready to protect her if a fight broke out.

"Not that our opinions matter to you, but I and my mate have decided to support our daughter's and her mate's decision." Stone said while glaring at Lyric. "I don't particularly like your son just yet, but I am willing to stand with want to do together as mates."

Echo stayed quiet as her dad spoke to Baelfire's dad, and looked at Baelfire when he stood in front of her. She hoped that his father would hear them out, but by his glares, it didn't look like that was going to happen at all.

Baelfire watched his dad expectantly. He could see the tension in his muscles and didn't think this was going to end well.

Lyric growled and turned away. "Your no longer a pup. I can't tell you what to do. I can only tell you that I am disappointed in you." He told bae. "I thought you would have put more thought into your choices and not make rash decisions. You know where I stand on this."

Stone didn't like Lyric's answer to Baelfire, it seemed to him that this wouldn't end as peacefully as he wished this would have ended. Realizing what might happen, Stone nudged his mate to go and retreat into the bushes as he didn't want her to get involved in the fighting. He wished he could do the same with Echo but Stone knew that she would be stubborn and stick by Bealfire's side in this, that and she was out of reach. "Please, let us come to an agreement. To end all these attacks and deaths"

As Echo thought by Lyric's glares, what he just said to Baelfire confirmed that this might not end well. She prepared herself for the worst of what might happen. Echo could defend herself alright, but she had never much experience in real fights due to her parents always keeping her so close.

Echo's ears perked up at the last thing Lyric said, Baelfire was going to be alpha so soon? She jumped slightly when Bael nuzzled her neck, she licked his ear and placed her head on his shoulder. "That's quite a...surprise," Echo said to break the silence Lyric left when he stalked off. She extended one of her wings and held Baelfire close, the next full moon was days away, and she wondered if there could be temporary peace unil then.

Lyric had walked away leaving the group of wolves on the border. Baelfire was shocked and speechless. He wondered when his father planned on telling him this. He stepped out from under Echos wing and padded up to her parents. "Then it seems that we will come to an agreement with the two packs?" He said in a half asking half demanding tone.

Stone watched as Lyric walked away, he had hoped after hearing what Baelfire and Echo wanted to do that Lyric would support them but he could only hope for so much. Especially after there had been so much blood spilled between the two packs. He looked over at Baelfire and nodded to what he said, "Yes, seems we will" He said with a slight smile. "I would have liked it to have been made today but it can wait until the next full moon"

Baelfire nodded. "I must be getting back to my pack. They need me and there is much preparation to do as the next full moon is only a few days away." He gave a slight bow to recognize the others standing and turned to walk away pausing by Echo to link her cheek.

Echo gave Baelfire a quick nuzzle after he gave a lick on her cheek. "I guess I'll see you soon, be safe" Echo said as she walked back over to her parents. She hoped that everything would go smoothly the next few days, folding her wings to her side she followed her parents back to camp after Baelfire walked back to his pack's territory.
