Kocoa and Laila walked along the street together, then, carefully stepping over the glass, they jumped through a broken window that led to a place that the humans called "the market"
Laika went over to one of the isle's that was labeled "breakfast." She and Kocoa didn't know what it meant but didn't try figure it out. Laika raised her nose and inhaled the strong scent of meat. "Follow me" Kocoa trotted to keep up with Laika as she walked rapidly towards a shelf. "Where are we going?" Kocoa whispered to Laika. "I'm trying to find something" Laika said softly in her breezy voice. Kocoa sighed and slowed down a bit. She was tired and hadn't had a good meal or sleep since her humans left. "Kocoa! Come here!" Kocoa pricked her ears and sprinted towards the sound of Laika's voice. Laika was busy trying to rip open a package of raw chicken when Kocoa approached. "Ew! What is that?" Kocoa sniffed the meat cautiously. "It's chicken" Laika said simply. Kocoa pinned her ears back and sighed again. "I'll just go find some food that Proper dogs are supposed to eat." Kocoa trudged through the fully-stocked isle's and went over to search for some dog food that her owners fed her. When she found the bag, she approached the shelf. Muttering, she hauled the bag off the shelf and ripped it open, enjoying the fresh smell of a newly opened bag. As Kocoa started eating, she heard something and pricked her ears foward. She could hear talking. Dogs! She thought with a Yelp of excitement.
Hi...Lumi" Kocoa heard one dog say. "I...Im trying to...reach the caa....rrots, but they...re to h..igh" Kocoa tried to peek through the shelves but they were too packed with food, and she couldn't remove any without the other dogs catching her. She pricked her ears once again as she heard a different dog speaking. "Okay, lets try to reach them like we got the food from the counter at our home." Kocoa tilted her head curiously at that. Home? She thought. These dogs must've had humans! At that thought Kocoa Yelp we'd quietly and her tail started to wag. Laika came sprinting quietly towards Kocoa "There's other dogs here! We have to leave." Laika said quietly. Kocoa stared hard into Laikas shimmering eyes and gave in, following her out of the market and onto the streets. |

Akela | M | Wolf-Dog | 2 1/2 | M: Silas | After a while, Akela got bored. He rose to his mitts and stepped out of the upside down car. He nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard a pain-filled yelp. It must've been the other from earlier. His hauches moved towards the sound. He soon came across the other. He narrowed his eyes at the male. ``May I ask what you're doing?`` He chuffed, his lips curling back into a curious snarl. His tassel curled around his paws protectively, his ears flat against his cranium. (short, writer's block) |

| Mentions; Akela| Silas's ear's twitched as he heard pads against the destroyed rocky charcoal ground, he could tell by the sound of the pad's the creature was large. He couldn't quite tell what it was at first when he smelled wolf and dog, but he soon realized the origin of the creature as it approached him and spoke. He tried to jump when another male approached him with a snarl. His eye's widening, he spoke " I-I ummm I'm just hanging out on this glass." He stammered nervously, his ear's flicking back and forth. He jostled himself to try to get up, but in the end he ended up just embarrassing himself with another yelp. "Well, uhm, er-"He murmured,and then stopped realizing he was just making himself seem foolish. With another worthless try to stand, he finally made it back on his pad's. Holding one leg up, and resting on the other three, with a lick of his torn pad he tried to limp back a little. He was obviously horrified of the massive male that approached him and didn't know what to do, to say, or where to go. { Sorry It's so short } |

Nashoba walked down ro the street dodging holes and cracks in the road. He was looking for food but has not found any yet. He sniffed at the trash cans but did not find anything that looked appetizing it was hard to see anything though and the ash made him sneeze. It was gone. It was all gone. He decided that he would try to let his natural instincts take over. He hadn’t ever been this hungry. Yeah, he was in dog fights, but he still got fed every day. He padded into the forest. Once he broke through the trees, he spotted a rabbit. Before he could catch it, it took off leaving him empty handed. His stomach gave a protest growl. There was always the store, but he didn't really want to go there. Yes, there was food, yes it would satisfy his hunger, but a fight was sure to break out. He missed his family and missed having a job. He shook the thoughts from his head as he headed back into town. He started towards the store. He easily pushed the doors open. He had been in the grocery store several times and knew exactly where the food was. He listened for any sounds telling him another dog was here. Hearing the yip of a dog, he continued to the aisle with the food. He started chewing the corner of the first bag he saw. His nose twitched and his stomach growled encouraging his teeth. He managed to chew a decent sized hole. He ate the food as it fell from the bag. His eyes continued to scan his surroundings as his ears swiveled listening for anything coming close. Once his stomach was satisfied and no longer growling, he climbed to his feet. He grabbed two small bags of dog food before starting for the exit. He didn't want to be in the store longer than he had to incase another dog decided to show up. He would try to hunt again later that way he didn't have to rely on dog food that will end up running out at some point. (No longer banned) |

He watched unamused. ``You're not very bright for a wolf-dog.`` He admitted, his right audit twitching towards distant others. Akela thought to himself, 'He's not that bad looking. Obviously wounded, wound will probably become infected the more he gets the charcoal and debris in the cut. Damn it. Now I'm forced to stay.' After a bit, He grew flustered at his observing, his orbs drawing themself away from the other. He hoped the other didn't catch his staring. ``How long has it been? Since you got that nasty cut of yours?`` |

| Mentions; Akela | Silas flicked an eye at the others words, "I- Don't see how that apply's here..." He stuttered, lowering his haunches to sit down. His mind ran through multiple thoughts as he sat there. He's hues catching the other staring at him? He shifted uncomfortably. Thankful when he looked away. - "Er." Silas thought for a moment, trying to remember how long back he had gotten the cut. "N-not that long ago." He finally concluded, once again shifting atop the debri. - (Holy shit!!! Nashoba wandered through the streets back to what remained of his house. He hid the bags of dog food in a hole then went wandering the streets. Maybe he could start a pack to better protect him as well as others. They could team up and stand against the bullies who would have the laast of the food to themselves and wouldn't even portion it to make it last longer. There was much less smoke now but the air was still grey and brown from the smoke that remained as well as the dust in the air. Nashoba sniffed the air and sneezed. He walked up to a muddy puddle of water and bent his head to drink. The water tasted of dirt and grain but he didn't care. Dirty water was better than no water. Ma'am cars were tipped over on the street creating perfect hiding places. A dog can hide behind anyone of the cars and you wouldn't know as long as they stayed quiet. |

[ Mentions: Silas ] "Hrm..." The male grumbled, his audits twitching back. "Let's go find some water nearby to clean it off. Then we can rest." He chuffed, standing on his large mitts. "Try to keep off of it as much as possible." Akela warned, turning around and stepping over the glass and debris.
Once he was away from the debris, he looked back at Silas, his tassel cautiously. He seem pretty friendly and caring, though bossy. His maw opened with a large yawn, his nose twitching. (Don't worry about it, Wild!) |
