Amara smiled as she spotted Astrid. She kept herself lowered to the ground as she started stalking her sister. Smiling she wiggled her haunches, though she gave away what she was going by accidentally stepping on a twig as she stepped forward. Trying to cover up her mistake, she leaped to land on Astrid, though she was unsure if she would actually be able to do so. |

Astrid was outside of the den by herself. She was running along looking for small rodents. She looked behind and saw the grass waving. She kept her ears alert in case someone snuck up on her. She finally made it to the meercat holes. She waited for them to come up.
Chaos
Chaos finally got closer to where he could see that the intruders were cubs. He sighed. This seemed to becoming a common occurence. He saw the lion cub was reacting aggressively. That was a strong cub even though he could just run back to the border. He roared a challenge and continued to growl, "What are you doing on my territory?"
Kenya/Damu Kenya didn't feel particularly comfortable in the tree, so she hoped Naita wouldn't need her help. She felt compelled to reply to the intruder, "According to lion law if you can defend a certain amount of land, it is your territory. We have defended this land for a long time." |

Amara landed a couple feet from Astrid. "Drat" she said. "Missed." She looked at Astrid. "What are you up to" she asked as she stood back up, her blue eyes curious. She smiled as she shook her coat of the flies that landed on her. |

Astrid turned, "Amara! I was trying to catch meercats. Now I'm sure they are scared away." She looked behind Amara and noticed Ajihad was trying not to laugh. |

Amara looked down. "Sorry Astrid. I was just trying to practice my pouncing and stalking" she said. Sh glanced up at her sister to see if she was still mad or not. |

Amra Amra flinched, but stood with her tail up, quivering. "Th-this i-is our teritory!" she yipped bravely. "Y-your an i-intruder!" She was shaking, her whole body trembling, but that didnt stop her from confronting the lion.
Pandora Pandoras gaze hardened, her eyes narrowed. The what? the lion law? "what in oblivion is the lion law?!" she demanded. "something y'all made up to have an excuse for 'claiming' territory?" |

Naita hissed at her, flattening her ears. "All the lions with actual honor and code know what it is." She replied. She paused for emphasis, then continued. "That must be why you don't know about it." She said simply. Then she dug her claws deeper into the black cat's shoulders. "Maybe you should learn about it. Then you could actually face someone knowing you had a code to follow. Like us. We have a code to drive intruders-" she took a paw off of the black lion. "Out." With that, she shoved the black lion to her paws, pushing her down a branch to Kenya. They had to get the black lion down from the tree, where they could drive her out.

He lifted his chin at the older lion's roar and Amra's reply. "That's right. This is our territory. So get off it!" He mustered up the most roar-like sound he could summon. It was... meager. He twitched an ear in embarrassment. He took a paw step towards the raged lion. "Who are you?" He asked, curiosity tugging at him. |

Finally, he and his mother reached a tree. His mother looked up, with a smile in her face, as though remembering something. Then she looked down at him with her amber eyes. 'Let's go', she said, 'We need to find the pride'. 'Find??', Nyasi asked in horror, 'But they could attack us!' His mother simply shook her head. 'We should try my son. And remember, don't show your fear'. And they padded on, deeper into the territory. Nyasi felt nervous, but he followed his mother.

Chaos almost laughed at Jackal and Amra, but he wanted them to continue to be afraid of him. "I am Chaos the dominant lion of my pride. This is my territory. If you smelled the scent markers, you would have known. Now begin to head back to your territory or I'll have to drive you off," he said sternly.

When Naita pushed Pandora to her level, she pushed Pandora off the branch while she was still unbalanced. She looked down to see how far Pandora fell. She perched herself ready to leap down after her. |

Astrid smiled, "Its okay. If you had landed on me you would have definitely scared me. She nudged her sister, "I think Ajihad is laughing at you." As soon as she said that Ajihad stopped laughing. |
