Chaos sleepily opened one eye, "Amara? What is it?" He carefully set Indigo's head onto the ground, and gestured for her to exit the den with him. He was grateful that Amara had let Indigo sleep. Outside the den he went through his waking ritual of stretching and yawning. He sat down to listen to Amara better.

He noticed something was different. She smelled different, and it was a familiar smell. "Amara?" he leaned in closer, trying to remember the smell. "Do I smell that you are pregnant?" he asked. If she was, he was slightly embarressed that he hadn't noticed yet. He looked at her face for her reaction. He knew that he hadn't gotten her pregnant, so it must be Ajihad.

Ajihad

Ajihad asked, "What did Scar look like? Where was he the last time you saw him?" He assumed Scar must be horrible if this lioness was so fearful. "Are you hungry?" he asked. He wondered if Chaos would want to take in an abused lioness. If Chaos didn't want her maybe he would take her with him, when he left the pride.

Amara tried to keep a straight face when Chaos asked her. She took a step back before she replied. "Y-yes, but thats not why I came to talk to you." She gulped, hoping changing the subject would help. "T-there is a nomad that is hurt. She's scared. Ajihad and I werent sure what to do." She knew that her face gave away that she was nervous about him finding out so soon.

Kira/Nomad

Kira watched Ajihad carefully. "Dark fur, almost black mane. He has many scars over his body, though its hard to tell from a distance" she said. When he asked if she was hungry she nodded.

Ajihad's mouth turned sort of a grimace of amusement. "Sorry I asked. I don't have anything to feed you right now," he apologized. "Is he dangerous?" he asked. Chaos would want to keep track of all potential challengers. "Is he strong enough to challenge a lion?" he continued.

Chaos

Chaos frowned at Amara. That would complicate things. He wasn't sure what to do. He knew that by lion law he had the right to kick them out of the pride. He realized that he would have to keep an eye on Astrid, since there was a single lion her age. "When were you going to tell me?" he cocked his head in an inquiring position. He got up, "Show me where this lioness is."

Amara looked at Chaos. "It would have been soon. I only just found out myself" she said a she lowered her head. She lead him to where Kira and Ajihad were, quiet the rest of the way. She looked at Ajihad, her eyes telling him that Chaos knew.

Kira/ nomad

Kira shook her head. "He isnt strong enough to fight, but he is very dangerous" she said. "He plans things and uses those to weaken a pride to take over" she said.

He cocked his head. He sounded dangerous. He would have to keep an eye out for him, while he was with Chaos Pride. Chaos came up with Amara, and she gave him a look. Ajihad looked back and forth between Amara and Chaos. How did he know so soon? He had been distracted lately.

Chaos

Chaos felt better. He had caught her pretty quickly. He sat by Ajihad, "What's her name? Why is she here? What does she want? What do you know about her?" he rattled off his questions. After Ajihad filled him in, he turned to look at Kira, "Why are you on pride territory. There is plenty of other territory for you to stand on, so why are you here?"

Kira shook even more when she saw Chaos. "I-i was chased by the stampede" she said. "I was trying to find a new place to call home. I-i didnt mean to trespass" she said.

Chaos wondered if he should invite her into the pride or escort her off the territory. "Stay here," he ordered her. He beckoned for Ajihad and Amara, "Do you think I should invite her to join or does she look like more trouble than she is worth?" he asked them. If she wasn't lying he didn't want this Scar to think that he had stolen his mate.

Amara looked at Kira before she looked at Chaos. "From the sound of it, she is terrified of him. She makes it sound like she ran a while go. He could already be dead for all we know" she replied. "I personally dont see any harm in her joining. You are able to take on any who challenge you."

Chaos didn't think it was good to assume that he could beat anyone that challenged him. For example his son appeared to be getting large enough to have a chance to challenge and win. He decided to change the subject. He wanted to resolve the problem with Amara and Ajihad soon. "Who would you take with you if you left the pride?" he asked. He wanted an idea of how many lionesses he would lose if he kicked them out. He decided that he would ask Indigo for advice before he made any decisions.
